30/08/2025: Delicious and delicious artisanal ice cream! Original and authentic flavors, it's one of the best I've ever tasted! Excellent prices, below average. I recommend it and I'll be back 😋

20/08/2025: Gelato quality: Good, nothing exceptional, but definitely the best you'll find in the Camaiore area. Service: It may have been an unlucky evening, but the girl who served me this evening wasn't particularly friendly, given the annoyed tone she used. I hope it's not always like this and it was just a bad evening. Unfortunately, I'm not well-built, and I pay close attention to how I'm treated when I'm served. Having worked with customers for over 20 years, I know what it's like to work under stress and with customers, and no matter how much work I have, that never justifies rude service.

01/09/2025: An absolutely delicious restaurant on Piazza De Bagni di Lucca, impeccable and friendly service, unbeatable prices!!! Without moderation Full menu during the week at €13.50 with 1/4 of wine and water and at €23 on Sundays 👍🏻🙌🏻

17/07/2025: The outdoor space is beautiful. We sat indoors with the AC and were happy for it. The decor is a bit hodge lodge, and I wouldn’t recommend the place based on the inside ambience- BUT- who cares? It was a good temperature, not too noisy, and both the service and the food were great. I would recommend any go. And great value for the money. My family of four loved everything we got (except the house red wine- next time, we’ll just buy a bottle). The mixed antipasti- so good! The stuffed pasta in a ragu- we had to order a second- the simple grilled steak- tender and flavourful. The contient- spinach and potatoes- yep, perfect. The chicken? Exceeded our expectations. We were too full for dessert but I bet they’re all authentic and tasty and not too heavy, either. (Oh, one last thing, the olive oil they brought to the table was also very good quality and so tasty)

16/07/2025: Wonderful; memorable pasta dishes there include spaghetti à la vongole, and a seafood carbonara; the place is pretty, be it the courtyard or inside and it is above all both refined and laid back - a balance that us no mean feat.

29/08/2025: A thousand thanks, thank you for a (second) wonderful evening with great food in a lovely atmosphere, from the good starter to the excellent pasta and main course to a superb dessert. Attentive and prompt service and a welcoming host. We'd be happy to come back.

19/08/2025: A small but cozy establishment in a charming village. A great spot for an excellent lunch. We had the platter with various appetizers, and it was excellent.

28/08/2025: Only here can you find mega-filled croissants...the best in pastries!!...this is how you work if you care about the customer, not like in other pastry shops that over time find themselves empty!!!

07/09/2025: First time. Tiny takeout shop with a fabulous menu: incredibly original and delicious sandwiches. We tried the Vizio Gola with Chianina tuna, and Ira with zucchini flowers and orange zest, and... we decided to return to try the others. The owner is friendly and very kind. The Avarizia sandwich is brilliant: just bread (which is actually focaccia bread) with nothing inside, obviously extremely cheap! 😁. September 2025: Four years have passed, and we've been back every year (every time we pass through Viareggio), and it has never disappointed us. We'd tried almost all the "Vizi" (and a few small dishes), but never the Ottavo. So this time we try it: you think it's a normal burger, but you immediately realize it's not... Chianina beef burger, salad and cherry tomatoes, thin caciobuffalo cheese, magnificent caramelized Tropea onions, a little bell pepper, and... crispy pancetta, all in "their" special, delicious bread. And nothing... we even "dipped" the sauce left on the menu. Don't be scared by the price, it's worth it! The quality is excellent, the atmosphere small but welcoming, and the owner, Marco, is friendly and very helpful. And if you have to wait... just wait, you won't regret it. P.S. I'm not his sister! 😉

21/08/2025: We only had beer and fries, but everything was good. The waiter was friendly and the place was air-conditioned. The burgers are also worth trying.

31/08/2025: Probably an interesting menu, but they first told us that we had to wait 40 minutes for 3 takeaway focaccias and when we asked shortly after (it must have been 8.40pm) they rudely sent us away saying that they were already too full to handle our order.

02/08/2025: Prima volta da loro a cena in tre, su suggerimento di un’altro chef. Esperienza ottima, locale garbato in darsena, cenato nel patio. Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. Digestione perfetta. Torneremo

14/08/2025: An evening for four people. Let's just say I wasn't very satisfied, unfortunately, because I booked a table that was basically two round tables next to each other, making it rather uncomfortable for four people. The terrace, which is a very nice setting, had a constant noise from a huge fan, which I understand is useful, but there are much quieter options that can overcome this problem. The appetizer, cured meats and fried pasta, were okay, the fried mushrooms were very good, the pizzas were of embarrassing quality. They seemed frozen, small, and tough, and weren't pizzas in taste or shape. The cuts of meat were good. I expected more from what I'd been told, but nothing exciting. The service was friendly, the staff were good and friendly. I think they need air conditioning inside, and they shouldn't make pizzas at all, or at least change the way they make them, from the leavening to the cooking and everything else. I'll be back to give it a second chance, perhaps to try the steak menu, hoping it'll be of a higher quality.

13/08/2025: The best gastronomy for miles around. Variety, quality, courtesy. Everything is delicious, from the food to the relationships you build with the staff and the wonderful owners. I've been going there for many years, and the products and attention to detail are always top-notch. You can also order for a dinner at home with lots of guests, and even sit at the lovely tables outside!

06/08/2025: I work a few steps from here and I had never been there, but what a pleasant discovery... excellent food and one thing that left me amazed (positively) was the extreme kindness of the staff, something RARE to find lately.... you are professional people you deserve so much.

07/09/2025: Amazing Tuscan meal, we ate "la Fiorentina", tartare, funghi porcini, veggies, and had fine wine. One of the best sposts I've tried yet.

22/08/2025: We've been going to this restaurant for a long time. The first few times, we really liked it. The food was very good and has remained so. Lately, however, we've had occasions where we haven't booked and arrive around 7:30 pm, and they can't wait to kick you out to make room for the next shift. And in this case, they always seat you at uncomfortable tables amidst the hustle and bustle. Never mind, because it was a nice place.

21/08/2025: The friendliness and hospitality are top-notch. The tortelli are simply exceptional, a true specialty, both for the filling and the ragù. The meat is delicious, and the pizza is also excellent, for those who love thin crust, delicious, and well-seasoned. The prices are fair. We'll be happy to return.
