03/06/2026: I'd been there several years ago, so I didn't have a clear memory of it. I wasn't thrilled. The food and quality were average, the portions were precise, and the wait was honestly long. The view and air quality were very nice.

26/05/2026: Great food. Marvelous view worth going in the evening for dinner. Many gluten free options (not sure about gluten free pizza). Had gluten free tortelli which are a rare find! Delicious!

22/07/2026: I'd been here several times, many years ago, but it had faded into obscurity. Yesterday, for a special occasion, it came back to mind, and we booked, hoping the quality hadn't changed over the years. And so it was: generous, high-quality seafood dishes, fast and efficient service, a unique and welcoming atmosphere. All at a very fair price. Proof of this is the fact that on a Tuesday, the restaurant was practically packed despite having plenty of seats. Definitely worth a try.

06/06/2026: Ristorante Giglio one of the best restaurants for me so far, I was in a training at Giglio for a long period and I was very well received. The food was special, made with dedication and passion, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was calm. One of my best experiences was there, where the Chefs: Stefano, Benedeto and Lorenzo were the best 👌

02/06/2026: This was our second time here. First time was 7 years ago and was much better. This time the service was awful. The guy who served our table didn’t offer a wine list and took our food order first and when I asked him about the wine list he said he’ll bring it after the food order is placed as if it was a normal practice. I tried their Menu a Mano Libero for €65 which included three random appetizers + a choice of main + desert. My wife ordered one main a la carte and two french fries for the kids. If we were to order the exact same items from the menu a la carte, the total cost would be €107. They gave us a check for €130 for food, which was adjusted down after I brought up the concern but followed by some rude explanation from the server. I’ve never received a desert which was supposed to be included in the Menu a Mano Libero. When we tried ordering a second round of french fries or some other version of potatoes, the server refused claiming the chef will not do it because it’s too late (was around 14:30) and it will take 30 minutes to make (first order of fries took 20 minutes at most). Overall poor service considering the Michelin designation. Aside from service, we were disappointed by the dated interior as nothing was invested in the restaurant over the past 7 years, some decor elements have disappeared. It’s not a very pleasant atmosphere and I wouldn’t be back.

01/03/2026: Starting with the very welcoming and comfortable venue, my partner and I had a great time. The service was warm and the dishes were truly exquisite. Furthermore, the staff described the dishes in detail. (We each chose an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, and a glass of still water.) We were passing through on a trip, and it was an excellent stop. We recommend it; good value for money. Absolutely.

10/05/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant and we had a wonderful time. The quality is excellent, from appetizer to dessert, and the service is prompt. We really enjoyed the panzanelline served with the bread and the limoncello at the end to cleanse our mouths. Finally... I've been working with customers for years and I know when the staff is good, and here I found truly excellent staff, attentive to the customer, kind, always smiling and approachable, and this does you credit because it's truly rare...It was a real pleasure spending this Saturday evening here with you!

07/08/2026: Very good and plentiful food, a simple atmosphere with small tables, and average wait times. We tried the razor clam spaghetti, which is tomato-based and features a razor clam sauce (not white, with whole clams). The seafood spaghetti was good and plentiful. The paccheri, which was good according to those who ate it, was perhaps the only dish that wasn't very generous. The fried food was also plentiful (including lots of fried sage and vegetables, all very crunchy), and the fried cod on a bed of leeks was also good. Prices are generally good, although I have a few observations, both good and bad :-): the first courses, at €14, are good and plentiful, but definitely below average. The fried dishes, at €20, are a bit above average, although the large portion makes up for it. The fried cod on a bed of leeks, which cost €20, was six bites, definitely expensive in my opinion. In the end, we spent €31 each for four people: three first courses and a seafood appetizer, two main courses, a dessert basket, two sgroppini and a sorbet, one coffee, and three bottles of water (no wine). 31/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited the New Piccolo Mondo Ristorante Pizzeria Lounge Bar and had a truly excellent experience. The place is very quaint, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere, making you feel immediately at ease. The staff is friendly, professional, and always available, attentive to their customers' needs and providing impeccable service. The real star of the evening was the pizza: delicious, well-cooked, made with quality ingredients, and truly tasty. To conclude, we enjoyed two exquisite mulberry and pineapple sorbets: fresh, delicate, and truly delicious, the perfect way to end an excellent dinner. A place I highly recommend to anyone looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable hospitality. I will definitely be back!

29/07/2026: Fantastic experience. Great food. Exceptional service from Giovanni. We went twice, may go a third time. The pizzas, starters and dolce were all fantastic. Giovanni and the chef are amazing and I hope they are paid well, sleep well at night, and all their dreams come true. We are from Australia and therefore have high quality expectations due to the competitiveness of restaurants and produce in Oz. My only minor complaint is that the wine was a bit warm, but we were provided with an ice bucket that solved the issue. We ditched a highly rated winery to come here instead knowing we would not be let down. Locals, tourists, come here. You won’t regret it.

17/05/2026: I visited last year. After posting on Facebook, I completely forgot about this post! I'm so glad to be making up for it now!!! Small but perfectly formed. Great service and the pastries are all amazing! To everyone traveling to Lucca to explore the city, I highly recommend this as your first stop. It's easy to find a parking spot behind the walls, and then it's just a few minutes to the old town. But before you do, stop by Piccola Soave and treat yourself to a fantastic macchiato and a brioche. You'll be surprised how incredibly affordable it is!!!!!! I'll be having my first breakfast there in two weeks 🥐🥐🥐

16/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic pastry shop. The cappuccino, espresso, and especially the sweet pastries were divine. Not to mention the incredibly reasonable prices. We paid just €13 for two cappuccinos, an espresso, and seven sweet pastries. In Germany, those three hot drinks alone would cost that much.

14/06/2026: Everything was delicious, the pizzas were spectacular. The Cecina was irresistible. Everything was delicious. It was the best 3 euros I've ever spent. I'll be back every summer.

10/06/2026: The pizza and cecina were exceptional, as always, but we made the mistake of sitting at the table with service: 2 slices of pizza, half a portion of cecina, 1 water, 1 tea, and 1 small glass of sparkling wine for €21. A bit overpriced, despite the table service.
