07/10/2025: Absolute insider tip!!! Super fresh food at very reasonable prices. If you're in the area, you have to eat there! We were there for a week and went there almost every day for lunch :)

04/10/2025: La Focacceria in Pietrasanta is a place where you immediately sense that craftsmanship counts. Upon entering, you're greeted by the aroma of freshly baked dough and good olive oil. The display is simple but inviting: classic focaccia with salt and oil, variations with tomatoes, cheese, or other regional ingredients. Everything is baked fresh daily; nothing seems prepped or carelessly done. The dough is perfect: crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. The ingredients taste high-quality and honest, without being overdone. You can tell that tradition is more important than show here. The service is friendly and fast, even when it's busy. The prices are fair, especially considering the quality. Many guests, including locals, come here regularly because the focaccia is simply consistently good. Once you've tried it, you'll quickly understand why this little shop is so valued. It's not a tourist hotspot, but a piece of authentic Pietrasanta. Five stars.

21/10/2025: We discovered this restaurant thanks to The Fork and promised ourselves we'd return. We ate really well: balanced flavors, adequate portions, and a good variety. The restaurant, with its charming interior, offers just the right number of dishes, with a choice of meat and fish. The owners are impeccably authentic and friendly. Prices are fair. Two appetizers, two main courses, two desserts, water, and prosecco: €88 (with The Fork discount).

21/09/2025: Excellent dinner. A welcoming atmosphere right in the center, yet tucked away in a quiet side street. In the right season, you can dine outside. Welcoming and informal staff. Traditional food, reasonably priced. Generous portions. Everything was excellent, and you didn't feel weighed down. A must try; I'll definitely be back.

28/08/2025: Excellent place to try seafood. The octopus soup is very good, and the octopus is incredibly tender. The black tagliolini with octopus ragù is also exceptional. I'll definitely be back!

26/09/2025: A wonderful discovery in the heart of Pietrasanta, where Porta Lucca once stood. Traditional, seasonal cuisine. The chef and entire staff are super friendly.

28/09/2025: We celebrated a communion/confirmation today... top notch. Truly excellent food, fast service. Friendly staff. Fabulous location. Everything was well-kept. We couldn't have chosen better.

20/09/2025: Far too many mosquitoes. The hotel is located next to a swampy area. We were there in September and had over 40 mosquito bites by the day we arrived. After that, we mostly stayed indoors with mosquito repellent. The pool was also really dirty; they should really put a net in it every now and then. It was completely full of dead insects, needles, and leaves. The apartment is good, with air conditioning throughout, spacious, and well-stocked. The food is also really good. So yes, good food, good sleep, but a shame about the mosquitoes and the filthy pool.

03/10/2025: This restaurant in the hills behind Pietrasanta is an oasis of tranquility. When the weather permits, you can dine in the tastefully decorated and fenced outdoor area in front of the restaurant, which creates a relaxed and romantic atmosphere in the evenings. You can choose between a fish and a meat menu. Among the various dishes, generally good in my experience (I've been there four times), Bruno's lasagnette, served with peeled seafood, deserves a special mention. It's a truly tasty and delicate dish, worth the trip, as a famous guide would say. Another highlight is that all the desserts are homemade. The service is friendly, especially the owner, who is very hospitable, but also attentive to any needs and professional. The wine list is also extensive, and I appreciate the fact that there are even half bottles of good quality available, since my partner doesn't drink wine.

11/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place staying in a b n b nearby. When we arrived we had a warm welcome and the staff immediately gave their full attention to help us understand the menu and translate everything, explaining all the dishes. As a vegan, I was worried as this was a very traditional restaurant, but the waitress spoke directly to the chefs, and made me custom meals, a beautiful starter and delicious main course that left me wanting more! I can highly recommend this place for foreigners or anyone looking to have exceptional service and good tasting food!

01/10/2025: Best gluten free and lactose free pastries I have ever had. My partner is gluten free and I am lactose free and I found the gluten free pastries were as good as any regular parties I have ever had and the flavours were impeccable. The croissant and cannoli were out of this work and the chocolate tart was very sweet but delicious.

02/10/2025: Found this hidden jewel and glad we did. We appreciated the atmosphere and attention from the owner who was completely in love with serving people the best of everything. From the wine pairing with the meal , he knew his business. Before we leave Lucca we are going back so I can order his filet .
