21/04/2026: I organized a birthday lunch on a Saturday, on a beautiful sunny day.
The place was truly well-kept, just the right amount of rustic, surrounded by greenery that gives it a sense of peace, and is perfect for getting up for a quick smoke or taking a walk between meals without disturbing other diners.
The menu was simple but super effective, with excellent ingredients, cooked truly, truly well! From the homemade starters to the meat, everything was delicious!
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful! Even though we were a fairly large group, they accommodated all our various requests, last-minute changes, and so on. Really good!
I'll definitely be back!

08/08/2026: A new, refreshing surprise, which is absolutely commendable these days! A lovely location, overlooking a pond that exudes freshness and harmony. Truly friendly staff, and a menu featuring mostly succulent, top-quality seafood. All accompanied by a good wine list. I'd also say the quality/price ratio is very good. I highly recommend it.

14/06/2026: Beautiful garden, had a great meal. Lamb chops and beef tenderloin, grilled vegetables and a good glass of wine. Friendly service. Close to the amphitheater.
13/06/2026: A fantastic trattoria with a beautiful outdoor seating area in the back, slightly off the beaten tourist track. The menu isn't overwhelming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this trattoria! 👍

08/07/2026: This is our favourite place to visit in Lucca. We've been 4 times on two separate holidays and taken family there too who have loved it. Michael is such an amazing host, so welcoming and friendly, giving me and my dad Limonchello bottles for father's day and dealing with kids brilliantly. The restaurant has a real traditional rustic charm which is exactly what we look for in places to eat on holiday. The food is fantastic we had 2 courses each and everything was delicious and decent prices as well. Thank you for the amazing times.

28/07/2026: A perfect dinner. Extensive wine list and knowledgeable sommelier. The raw seafood was amazing, everything so fresh and flavorful, it melted in your mouth. The dessert left us speechless. The atmosphere was refined but not overly formal, and we were welcomed kindly even though we had come straight from the beach and were certainly not dressed in suits. Well done!
20/07/2026: Fabulous fine dining restaurant with very reasonable prices. Service was superb- attentive and friendly. Very wide choice of wines by glass which is not easy to find. Food was exceptionally good. Loved it!

14/07/2026: The restaurant is very beautiful and well-kept. We ate outside, and even though it was hot, the trees and leaves kept the weather mild. For food, I had spaghetti tarantina and a mixed fried fish (pictured). Very attentive service.

A shame, a disappointment.
I can't really judge the ingredients because they were often overpowered by other flavors. But can you bring a trio of tartares accompanied by mayonnaise and soy sauce? And while I can easily overlook the soy sauce (although such a presentation reminds me of other types of restaurants, certainly not local ones), I can't about the mayonnaise. I'm sorry.
The place is very beautiful, both inside and out, but the cuisine needs a thorough overhaul to be (or return to?) up to par with the restaurant.
Pet friendly.

To be precise, spaghetti with clams and seafood bavette: very, very good and well-made. The tiramisu was good, although I personally prefer it more compact and less frothy.

10/05/2026: We had a lovely meal at this restaurant in Lucca. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with every dish feeling fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
It was also very child friendly, which made the experience even better for us. They were happy to prepare something simple for my nephews that suited them perfectly, which we really appreciated.
The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. A great spot if you’re looking for great food!
02/05/2026: Top-class restaurant in the center of Lucca. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city, you find yourself in an oasis of calm here. The terrace feels like a cozy living room with greenery and warm lighting. The service is exceptional – truly waited on hand and foot. The dishes are amazing, with surprising combinations of familiar ingredients. An experience we won't soon forget!

11/07/2026: Just another over priced, pretentious, tourist spot. Reservation only online as they refused our first attempt in person. Online only ends in an email request that was followed by a demand for a CC number within two hours to secure... or else. Then they send a cancellation notice due to non payment over an hour prior to their deadline. Next and last attempt ended with a no availability. Too many amazing restaurants in the area to waste time on this one.
