17/03/2024: We returned here today for lunch together with two other friends, once again everything was impeccable.
Nothing to say except compliments.
Today, as a whim, we also had a plate of raw prawns off the menu.
We will return again.

04/04/2024: Decent food but nothing special. For example, the bread, butter and anchovies appetizer gives what it promises, i.e. bread (the same one that is served with cover), butter (classic from the supermarket, I was expecting at least a quality butter) and 7 fairly good anchovies. Nothing more. And well, 13 euros for 7 anchovies seems a bit much to me. The service was a little "stunned". Slow and not attentive but not rude. However, the environment was very nice and comfortable and full of useful details to distract yourself during the long wait. Nothing exceptional but not a total flop either. Maybe it was just the wrong night.
01/04/2024: Table legs too short. I cracked my knees when trying to sit down. Had to sit sideways the entire meal. Table size also too small for 5 people and all the plates and glasses and bread and wine etc. Very uncomfortable. Food mediocre. Service ok - nothing special. I would not return.

15/02/2024: Siamo stati a cena per San Valentino, tutto perfetto.
Salta all'occhio la cura nei dettagli ed il senso di ospitalità che ti accoglie appena dentro al ristorante.
Staff gentile, attento e preparato.
Il cibo veramente ottimo, consiglio vivamente il piccione ed il flan di verdure, le quali sono coltivate direttamente dal proprietario nel campo accanto al ristorante.
Come dolce abbiamo preso una tarte tatin, davvero buona.
Torneremo sicuramente!

Excellent cuisine, endless homemade starters, many platters and canapés.
Excellent cut, matured and very tasty meat.
30/12/2023: Il ristorante si trova nella frazione di Azzano, pochi chilometri a monte di Seravezza. Bella vista sulle circostanti cime delle Alpi Apuane. In estate possibilità di mangiare all’aperto. Cucina e servizio sono all’insegna della semplicità ma entrambi di ottima qualità. Il menù, non vasto, è basato sulla cucina tradizionale, prevalentemente di carne. Noi ci siamo lasciati tentare dalla Lasagna al forno con salsiccia e carciofi, dai ravioli alla farina di castagne su fonduta di burro al profumo di agrumi e dal pollo nostrale ripieno. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino della casa decisamente al di sopra della media. Se vogliamo proprio trovare un difetto a questo ristorante l’unico e’ che per i vegetariani le scelte nel menù sono davvero limitate. Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero imbattibile!

15/03/2024: Siamo già stati un paio di volte e ci ritorniamo appena possibile per il Posto eccellente , staff cortese e disponile pietanze ma soprattutto carne favolosa!
14/03/2024: Mai speso 20 euro per 10 ravioletti al ragù’ del tutto normali.
15 euro per un piatto di mortadella come antipasto.
E 20 euro per una frittata di asparagi.
Per trovare un vino con cui non avrei avuto bisogno di un prestito in banca ci e’ voluto mezz’ora.
Arredamento tirato giù a caso…

20/03/2024: The Florentine is exceptional. Excellent as at Cecchini in Panzano and Bolgheri. This is how good it is to eat at Castello di Am. The Silvietta cake is worth a taste, figs and dried fruit. EXCELLENT Star
11/02/2024: The menu offers simple dishes from the past. The tordelli and homemade ravioli are not bad. The fried chicken and Livorno-style cod are good. Friendly and polite staff. Prices a little too high though.

The dark-haired waitress came to my table several times the second time, mentioning the dishes I had taken the previous time, clearly with the intention of disgracing me in front of the second girl. A very serious thing for a restaurant. I guess he thought one of them was my girlfriend and the other my lover. Inappropriate behavior for someone who works in catering. Train your staff better
02/04/2024: I celebrated Easter Monday with friends in this restaurant yesterday. I love experimenting with new places and new dishes and I must say that I was fully satisfied. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, surrounded by a wonderful olive grove. The cuisine was excellent, we opted for meat-based dishes, all delicious! Amazing cut and peposo! The owner is very nice and the service is excellent. This restaurant helped make a gray Easter Monday day pleasant and relaxing. We will definitely return, in good weather, to enjoy an aperitif and a nice outdoor dinner in the beautiful olive grove! Ah, I forgot to praise the excellent oil produced by the owner!

09/03/2024: L’ambiente è familiare e accogliente, arredato con un gusto che ho apprezzato molto.
I camerieri/gestori fanno di tutto per mettere a loro agio la clientela.
Il menù offre vari piatti tipici della tradizione Lunigiana.
Le pietanze sono cucinate da mani esperte e sono una vera prelibatezza.
Note dolenti:
- coperto € 3,00= a persona per avere sul tavolo una semplice tovaglietta di carta;
- un litro d’acqua costa la bellezza di € 4,00=;
- il vino sfuso al bicchiere costa da € 7,00= a salire;
- le porzioni servire sono modeste nella quantità.
Purtroppo non solo nei ristoranti della Versilia, ma anche in quelli dell’entroterra (come il paese di Querceta che ospita il ristorante) il rapporto tra qualità/quantità e prezzo da pagare, è sempre svantaggioso.
16/01/2024: Non mi stancherò mai di frequentare questo locale: sarà per il vissuto (quanti bei momenti della mia vita ho festeggiato quaggiù...), sarà per la loro cucina schietta e confortante (carni bianche e rosse cotte nel forno a legna non tradiscono mai), sarà per l'atmosfera del camino acceso d'inverno e del giardino/uliveto d'estate, sarà per il dinamico e professionale servizio di sala.
Il mio preferito!!!

10/03/2024: New management, got pizza and cecina last night for the whole family and I can say that finally there is a pizza chef who in my opinion makes the best pizza in the area... punctual service and they are very kind and friendly... definitely I will go back because the pizza is truly fantastic
