09/11/2025: A small local grocery store with a little bit of everything, but especially homemade sandwiches made right in front of you with artisanal products. It's simple and very inexpensive. If you stop by, there's a small courtyard out back where you can eat your sandwiches in peace and quiet.

18/05/2025: The restaurant’s setting is undeniably elegant. However, if you’re dining as a couple and your partner doesn’t eat meat, I strongly advise against choosing this place. All the premium cuts of meat are only available for two people. As soon as you mention that only one person wants meat, the staff’s attitude shifts — you’re no longer given the same level of attention. It’s unfortunate. A meat lover, even dining solo, should still have access to a fine cut without being sidelined. This lack of flexibility seriously detracts from the overall experience.

01/03/2026: We order pizza either to go or delivery once a week, the pizza is always delicious and ordering via WhatsApp makes the whole process very easy. Highly recommend ordering from them, they make the best pizza in this area.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, it's gotten much worse lately. The last time was a disaster. I'm very sorry about that because it's a place I've always enjoyed going to and where the food was good, with friendly people. I hope I'll be proven wrong in the future.

03/02/2026: So a great restaurant on top of the mountain in Tuscanyjust outside of Firenze. Worth the drive for great food and scenery. The owners are fantastic people. The food is awesome with a chef that cooks for you like you were in her home. Service is exceptional, always warm and inviting. Great selection and fantastic scenery. Sit outside in the garden, enjoy the view and some awesome wine. The drive from Firenze is short and enjoyable to to the top n of the mountain. Give them a try.

26/01/2026: Good evening, we went to lunch, barely 7 crostini for 5 people, starter only for 1, mixed roast not good, I'm sorry but we won't go back, too expensive for what we got

16/12/2025: The Chapel of the Lily is located at Via Borgo Pinti 58, within a convent with an adjoining beautiful church dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena de' Pazzi. The chapel has undergone extensive restoration work by the Superintendency of Archaeology and Fine Arts of Florence, Prato, Pistoia. The guided tour, organized by the Superintendency, was led by the same restorers as the chapel and the architect in charge of the restoration. We explored the history of the monastic complex of Santa Maria Maddalena de' Pazzi, but above all, we were shown the difficulties encountered in restoring the splendid frescoes by Poccetti, a talented, yet little-known, Florentine painter. These frescoes, unfortunately in serious condition, are nevertheless incredibly fascinating.

10/03/2026: Zero stars. Rushed, rude, and physically aggressive. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Not only was our waiter incredibly dismissive and impatient—rushing us to order and literally trying to pull the menu out of my hands—but he was also physically aggressive. He intentionally bumped into me while passing by, exactly like those infamous "bumping men" you hear about in Japanese train stations. A restaurant should be a relaxing place to eat, not a place where you have to defend your menu and dodge a hostile waiter. Completely unacceptable. AVOID THIS MAN IN PICTURE! For your own safety!

10/03/2026: Historic, elegant café-restaurant and tea room with outdoor seating in Piazza della Signoria, the heart of the city. Pastries, chocolates, and even steak (83/kg, fair trade; in the city, even 130-140, "call them if you want..." exaggerations). Caffe 'Fiorentino' is €1 at the counter, €1.80 for 'lieviti' (a price offset by their sometimes substantial size), with comfortable tables inside for easy seating. During Carnival, the 'cenci', traditional Florentine fried sweets, were soft and delicious, and these days, the frittelle, as well as a preview of the classic Easter colomba (offered in sample portions, soft and delicate). The stuffed giraffe, part of the decor, is not a nuisance and arouses the curiosity of children. Dogs and kennels are welcome, as long as they don't bark. An excellent stop, in the front row if you wish, also to enjoy the monumental spectacle that opens up imposingly before your eyes.

09/03/2026: It's been a while since I've been back to Badiani Viale dei Mille, a pastry shop I used to frequent when I lived in the area, both for breakfast and ice cream. Renovated place. Self-service checkout, and despite the many employees, we spent a lot of unnecessary time getting breakfast at 11:00 a.m., when there was almost no one there. I had to ask for water for my coffee—it was usually offered with the coffee. -All good, but not exceptional. -The price is high for the service and quality that aren't there (especially compared to high-end pastry shops in Florence).

19/08/2025: Just had a coffee and had a look around: the sports complex is very nice and well kept, the restaurant, open only for lunch, gives the impression of offering good local cuisine, the owners are friendly and easy-going.

04/04/2026: I don’t write reviews but for this one I need to. So stuffy felt like they thought we could not afford our meal. Food was marginal at best. Pricey but I knew that going in. Don’t waste your time.

02/04/2026: I went to the restaurant with high expectations, especially since it's a Michelin-starred establishment, but the experience fell far short. The ambiance is already strange upon arrival—tables without tablecloths, which, in a high-end gastronomic context, conveys more carelessness than modernity. The service was correct, but lacked the care and attention to detail expected at this level. The food, unfortunately, did not live up to the reputation. There was an excess of bread throughout the meal, giving the feeling of "filling" rather than a well-thought-out sequence of dishes. The cuisine seems to want to be creative and international, but ends up losing its identity and connection to Italian tradition. The most disappointing point was the dessert: frankly bad. Unbalanced, lacking evident technique, and completely disconnected from Italian cuisine. In a restaurant of this caliber, ending the meal this way is unacceptable. Overall, it's an experience that prioritizes concept and image over flavor and authenticity. For those seeking authentic Italian cuisine, there are far more satisfying options in Florence.

28/05/2025: Da non perdere. Cibo spettacolare, abbinamenti di sapori che non ti aspetti, eppure azzeccatissimi. Uno chef con grande talento, accoglienza impeccabile e ambiente davvero carino. Non dico altro, andate a provarlo, e ci tornerete!

09/03/2026: I took the chicken, nothing to say except that for 1 chicken, which weighed 500 grams and another half of 250-260 grams, I paid 19 euros, sky-high prices, in short, it was written that it was 13 per kg. Too bad that the weight is as if it were gold, for the rest, the environment is nice and well-kept, you can see that they work well.

02/03/2026: Excellent Sunday lunch at Nuovo Ranch in Osteria Nuova. Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, ideal for families with children. Excellent food, generous portions. Impeccable service: friendly and very attentive staff. A wonderful discovery, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: A nightmare New Year's Eve dinner: terrible food, served cold; poor-quality wine and undrinkable sparkling wine, drunk either from plastic cups or aperitif glasses (also undrinkable), which we had to rinse out by pouring the contents into either a water or wine glass, as we chose! All for €65! P.S. At 9:45 PM, all that was left was dessert, while we sat at the table waiting for midnight!
