02/03/2026: Excellent Sunday lunch at Nuovo Ranch in Osteria Nuova. Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, ideal for families with children. Excellent food, generous portions. Impeccable service: friendly and very attentive staff. A wonderful discovery, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: A nightmare New Year's Eve dinner: terrible food, served cold; poor-quality wine and undrinkable sparkling wine, drunk either from plastic cups or aperitif glasses (also undrinkable), which we had to rinse out by pouring the contents into either a water or wine glass, as we chose! All for €65! P.S. At 9:45 PM, all that was left was dessert, while we sat at the table waiting for midnight!

18/01/2026: Really good burgers, flavorful meat, and higher-quality ingredients than the usual fast food joints. The location in Piazza della Vittoria is beautiful. I'm giving it four stars only because the prices are a little above average, but you pay for quality. I'll definitely be back! But there's not a lot of room inside, and they're a bit crowded, and if people are talking next to you, you can't have peace. And you can't enjoy your sandwich.

12/12/2025: The restaurant is a vibe, and the staff were great. Everything looked beautiful; however, we were disappointed with the dishes. We did the expensive tasting menu, and not a single dish was memorable except one that was disgusting. (I am an adventurous eater and not picky. It was surprisingly nasty.) Sadly, I wouldn't recommend eating here until the taste matches the presentation/service.

14/11/2025: Dinner for 2 Intimate atmosphere. Very refined setting. Open kitchen. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. Excellent food. Refined preparation. A top culinary experience. We chose the à la carte menu accompanied by a glass of their own white wine, very very good. Definitely not a place for everyone. The dishes are around €35 ​​each. But it's definitely an experience worth having. We had a wonderful time and ate very well. We also received extra welcome plates, pre-dessert, and their own bread accompanied by butter (exceptional) and their own oil. As well as a surprising selection of breadsticks. Recommended!

14/04/2026: Tourists avoid! Partner desperately needed the loo so we popped in (we were going to buy a drink regardless as we're Brit's and only feel that's polite) we asked for 2 x spiced rum and coke, we got billed for 2 x cocktails, massively over charged in my opinion! The waitress also tried to short change us! Partner being registered blind! Went to put change in his wallet! Thankfully I realized before this happened and insisted it got sorted! Both the server that charged us and made our drinks were extremely rude. slightly ruined our experience in Florence If I could give this place 0 starts I would! I went toilet elsewhere and the server refused payment or to let us pay for a drink! Tourists to avoid My partner was desperate to go to the toilet, so we went in (we had intended to order a drink anyway, as we're English and it seems like the polite thing to do). We ordered two spiced rums and colas, but they charged us for two cocktails. In my opinion, an exorbitant price! The waitress even tried to give us the wrong change! My companion is blind! He was about to put the change in his wallet! Luckily, I noticed before it happened and insisted that the situation be resolved! Both the waitress who gave us the bill and the one who mixed our drinks were extremely rude. They somewhat ruined our experience in Florence. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I went to the bathroom elsewhere and the waitress refused to take payment or charge us for drinks!

10/04/2026: We came here every morning for coffee during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. There's a counter with a fantastic selection of pastries – all fresh, delicious, and with gluten-free options. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and you can tell that many locals come here too, which is always a good sign. The prices are absolutely fair. In the afternoon, you can sit comfortably outside and even receive table service, which we found particularly pleasant. The café is also located a bit off the beaten tourist track, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The fried chops reminded me of my mom's. The atmosphere is familiar and truly puts you at ease. Excellent price.

25/11/2025: As soon as I called, while the operator was speaking to me, he was talking to other people, not at all friendly, complaining on the phone about the workload, with no concern for me being on the phone listening to his complaints. Finally, lastly, he told me it was inappropriate to bring me a pizza because I paid by card, and to call somewhere else! I'd already gotten the pizza from them, and it wasn't even bad, but friendliness and kindness come first!

02/03/2026: We went to City Life on Saturday evening. The dishes were well-prepared and high-quality, and the prices were reasonable, without being overpriced—which isn't a given, considering some places have decidedly exorbitant price increases. The menu offers a good variety, including classic cuisine, pizzas, and ethnic dishes. The pizza has improved significantly since I tried it a few years ago. The only downside of the evening was the service: despite the very kind owners, it was quite slow. Despite having made a reservation at 9:40 PM, we were seated well after 10:00 PM. During dinner, the wait to order and receive our dishes was quite long, and even at the end of the meal, dessert had gotten lost along the way, and we had to ask for it several times. Overall, it was a positive experience for the variety of food and the atmosphere.

28/12/2025: Pastries are more than 3 days old, all sour cream, you can find the moscarrini, it is no longer fresh and you also pay 3 euros for all those expired sour pastries 😐😐 absurdity

25/12/2025: I've been a customer for 40 years, ever since the two sisters who owned it were behind the counter and it was one of the best pastry shops in Florence, renowned for its sublime Millefoglie, and on Sundays at any time the pastry counter was fully stocked with pastries of every kind. Today, I'm sorry to say, it's become a simple breakfast bar. The pastry counter is bare, it no longer exists, the millefoglie is not even comparable to the tradition of the past. Florence has definitively lost a historic pastry shop full of tradition. Today was the last time I bought a millefoglie. It's not worth coming from Prato to buy a banal and anonymous millefoglie. 01/11/2025: Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews that this place is a scam. Their prices keep changing every day, depending on who is serving you and if they think you're a tourist. Be very careful of places like this that don't have any prices listed, because there's a reason for that! This place could have had a regular customer in me, as I'm not a tourist, but they lost me just for a few Euro...
