The best schiacciata and pizza in Florence (light dough, both soft and crispy, like a cloud). They also offer daily specials from the delicatessen/rosticceria (such as lasagna, meatballs, stew...), all delicious. An institution on the Isolotto.

05/05/2026: On our way back from Siena, we stopped at this quiet little restaurant in Castelfiorentino. The village is truly charming, simple, less crowded than San Gimignano, but very quaint. Moreno is very friendly and, above all, kind. The cuisine isn't typically Tuscan, but it's still high-quality. An ideal place to stop on your way back from Tuscan destinations.
