In Florence, a hundred kilometers from the sea, I did not expect to find its soul. Instead, every dish is a dive into the waves, a flavor that excites, that tells. Tasting the sea, far from its shore... is a rare gift. Here, it is reality.

27/06/2025: They're a rip-off!!!! A very bad experience. We ordered two chicken dishes that were advertised as having a one-price price. When we paid, everything was even more exaggerated. Don't even think about getting drinks because they're incredibly expensive, seven 50 each, and Coca-Cola. The drinks are more expensive than the protein dish. A SCAM!!!!

27/06/2025: 2 salted chicken breasts, almost burnt. On arugula, anything but fresh. €20 Coca-Cola for €7.50 If only the food were good, it would be fine. But it's absurd; this is a scam disguised as a restaurant.

23/05/2025: I live in Markham, Canada - where some of the world’s finest Asian cuisine is; and this restaurant is absolutely authentic in its food. It was a lovely change of cuisine to visit Italy and get a solid ramen that tasted so original. Had the set ramen menu with the gyoza, spicy kimchi ramen, and a Japanese cheesecake to finish. All delicious through and through, highly recommended.

19/05/2025: I always go there very willingly, usually I take the Ciampon (a truly exquisite broth) but this time I wanted to try the Curry udon and I must say that I found it truly excellent 🤤 Of all the places I have tried both in Florence and I can't say that their ramen is unbeatable, all very fresh ingredients, hand-made noodles and the most important thing a truly excellent broth 💜 Highly recommended 💜

18/05/2025: Un’esperienza indimenticabile all’Enoteca Barrique Sono stato recentemente all’Enoteca Barrique, in via Leone a Firenze, e devo dire che è stata una delle esperienze gastronomiche più piacevoli degli ultimi tempi. La location è semplicemente incantevole: sembra di entrare in un vivaio, immersi nel verde e nella tranquillità, con un’atmosfera rilassante che fa dimenticare il caos cittadino. Durante il pranzo ha iniziato a piovere, e il rumore della pioggia unito alla selezione musicale – un mix perfetto di blues e jazz – ha reso il momento quasi magico, davvero suggestivo. Il cibo è stato eccezionale: antipasti e primi a dir poco fenomenali. La pasta fresca fatta dallo chef era una vera delizia, con sapori autentici e cura in ogni dettaglio. Abbiamo apprezzato così tanto il pranzo che abbiamo voluto fare personalmente i complimenti al proprietario, al cuoco e al cameriere, che è stato di una gentilezza e professionalità impeccabili. Un altro grande punto di forza è la vastissima scelta di vini di alta qualità, perfettamente in linea con la filosofia del locale. Ogni etichetta sembra essere stata selezionata con competenza e passione, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più completa e raffinata. Io ho preso un calice di Syra a dir poco fantastico. Un posto che merita davvero di essere scoperto e amato. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Consigliatissimo!

18/05/2025: Abbiamo contattato Iacopo per organizzare una degustazione guidata in occasione di un addio al celibato, e l’esperienza presso Enoteca Le Barrique si è rivelata impeccabile sotto ogni aspetto. Fin dal primo contatto, Iacopo si è dimostrato disponibile, cortese e straordinariamente competente. Durante la degustazione, ha saputo guidarci con professionalità e passione, aiutandoci a sviluppare un primo approccio critico al vino, anche per chi tra noi non aveva alcuna esperienza. L’atmosfera del locale è calda e accogliente, con spazi curati nei dettagli e un retro "aperto" molto piacevole per le giornate più calde, che contribuisce a rendere l’intera esperienza ancora più suggestiva. Nonostante il contesto goliardico della serata, con lo sposo in costume, Iacopo ha gestito tutto con grande equilibrio, mantenendo un tono conviviale ma sempre rispettoso, dimostrando una rara capacità di coniugare leggerezza e serietà. I vini selezionati erano di ottima qualità, accompagnati da stuzzichini perfettamente abbinati che hanno arricchito ogni assaggio. Un’esperienza che consiglierei senza esitazione, tanto a chi si avvicina per la prima volta al mondo del vino quanto agli appassionati in cerca di una serata diversa, piacevole e ben curata.

06/05/2025: Typical hot tavern of Florence. Very good cuisine, dishes from the city, good cuisine, private staff but place to advise. They don't change over the years....a classic.

17/06/2025: Typical trattoria, welcoming....with an intimate and familiar atmosphere....simplicity and hospitality are the masters. The food is excellent. Fresh tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and homemade sausage, very tasty... The Florentine steak? CRAZY!!!!! Really tasty, soft and succulent. Highly recommended!!!!!

23/06/2025: We have been coming here for many years, so far everything has been perfect. My wife and I are ending the week there before heading home. A nice waitress helped us find a place to sit. We looked at the menu and then a NOT nice gentleman came out of the kitchen with two of his friends and told us to leave because we can't sit here... I told him his little colleague sat us down here and I don't understand why we should leave? He told me he didn't care, there was no table! I think this vulgar behavior is not allowed for normal guests.

22/06/2025: We originally wanted to have a glass of wine in the old town, but unfortunately, we couldn't find a single restaurant in the city where all the outdoor seating wasn't reserved. Even though there were no guests in sight, it wasn't possible to get a drink. We left the old town in a huff, and then this happened: Linda's Pizzeria, a very warm welcome! Even in German! Although we only wanted a drink, we were seated immediately and very friendly. But the food at the neighboring tables looked so delicious that we couldn't resist for long. We didn't regret it! It was simply delicious! Authentic, handcrafted Italian dishes. Simple ambiance, lots of locals, delicious food, delicious wines, what more could you want?

06/06/2025: Delicious pizzas! We chose this pizzeria because we read in a review that many locals get pizza takeaway. We can only confirm this. Because the pizzas are so delicious, we went back a second time. The lady of the pizzeria is super friendly and helpful. It is not the most cozy location to sit, but the food is great!

01/04/2025: Some tastes were really really good, but some of them were so-so. Anyway almost every tastes with chocolate were definitely thumb-up! Gelato is always the love, so five stars! Unfortunately, there are some differences in quality between flavors. Still, the chocolate flavor is so delicious that I give it a thumbs up! One way or another, gelato is love, so five stars!

19/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding at the Tenuta La Borriana at the end of July... wonderful place... from the ceremony celebrated in the olive grove, to the dinner on the central terrace... everything was perfect. We were looked after by Chiara and Caterina in everything. Their kindness, professionalism, and so much patience, seasoned with excellent food made the evening wonderful. 14/06/2025: Ice cream great, coffee bad. The worst thing is that he charged us an extra 3.6 euros for a caffe latte that we neither ordered nor received. When I complained about the bill, he returned 1.60 euros and threw the bill in the trash. You lose customers for 2 euros and you leave a bad impression.
