I had an excellent steak last night... but beyond the delicious food, I found myself in a familiar atmosphere, at a table with strangers who, through conversation, turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Fast service, super-friendly staff. In short...a true gem in Florence, far from the hyper-tourist hub of the city center, despite being a trattoria very close to the center.

Haven’t even paid before I decided to review. The food was wonderful from beginning to end, staff was friendly and accommodating to my zero grasp of the Italian language. Would highly recommend.

Trattoria BBQ is where you can't help but feel at home. If you're visiting Florence and don't want to be surrounded by tourists, this is the place for you, right on the edge of the historic center! Highly recommended.

We had a truly remarkable experience for dinner. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection, service is friendly and the atmosphere is so peaceful. We will be dreaming of that Florentine steak until next time!

We found this place by accident on Friday and found it again on Monday as we had to go back to try their BBQ ribeye and it was everything you could hope for. Wonderful friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices for the quality. Can't recommend highly enough.

I've rarely seen such kind, funny waiters who take the time to explain things, especially to tourists. The meat is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch. We highly recommend it.

We came across this trattoria by chance while we were exploring the city..even though it was 2:55 pm they accepted us for dinner and they work until 3 pm which is a great rarity in Italy….
We had pasta…I had carbonara which was the best I have ever had in my life…
I will definitely recommend you…all praise
