12/08/2025: Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I had a Moscow Mule and it had too much ginger beer, which could be improved.

13/08/2025: Lovely place, kind and friendly people. Excellent value for money. It's all a bit dated. We had the 5-person cottage. The sofa bed isn't suitable for two people, and the other beds weren't great, but they were okay. It's clean and tidy. However, you are woken up early in the morning by De Haan. Unfortunately, there's no oven, as mentioned. It's a microwave.

16/06/2025: Located among the splendid cliffs of Valdarno, it offers lunches for groups and not only. Good typical Tuscan cuisine. Family service but also hospitality. It's a shame about the small increase in prices, but it's still a good compromise between quality and price.

19/08/2025: The burger was excellent, but the bun was a little less crunchy for my taste.

10/08/2025: Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and well-kept place. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the meat. I highly recommend trying the deconstructed tiramisu, a delight!

19/10/2025: We had the opportunity to try their products at the Arezzo flea market. They were truly amazing, super fast, and incredibly friendly. It's one of the few sandwiches we've enjoyed at a fair. We'll definitely be back at your restaurant.

21/09/2025: The food here was fantastic. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly as an appetizer; I think it's worth 5 stars. Afterward, I had the ribs, which were delicious but a bit too sweet for me. My wife had the Nordica pizza, which was delicious. We'll be back. Excellent! 😁👍

26/07/2025: Very nice atmosphere and food. Very welcoming host. It would have been 5 stars but the fact that you get your dinner with no menu or prices is a bit of a problem.

26/06/2025: Review is about the dinner - didn’t stay at the B&B. First of all it’s CASH ONLY. Just a fyi. Basically they will serve you various courses for about 40€ a head. All the food was clearly fresh and excellently prepared. We had various appetizers, 4 different pastas, 3 different meats and two different desserts

06/05/2025: Mi marido y yo estábamos tratando de encontrar un restaurante local (no turístico) fuera de la plaza principal y nos topamos con este. Paola y Franco eran una delicia. Paola era muy cálido, amable y muy servicial. Teníamos los ravioles, seguido de un filete de 1 kg que estaba perfectamente cocinado y delicioso verdura. Luego nos regalaron biscotti (obviamente Paola se hizo) con un vino de postre. Exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Sin duda volveremos.

08/10/2025: Having dined at Mimmo's on many occasions, I can say that he knows his stuff when it comes to pizza, and he obviously follows the Neapolitan style, but even with the tongs, he was up to par! The atmosphere is modest and the service is good.

21/09/2025: It's located in an old farmhouse; the dining room is all wood with simple but clean tables. We ordered a pizza peel and a tagliata with arugula, cheese, and cherry tomatoes. Drinks included water and draft beer. The tagliata was well-seasoned and tender. The pizza, eh... when we saw it arrive, we were astonished by its size; in fact, we couldn't finish it (there were two of us), and without batting an eyelid, the waitress packed it for us in a cardboard box. We had dinner there the next evening. The staff was friendly and very discreet. The price was very fair. It was a pleasant discovery; we'll definitely be back. We checked out their Facebook page and saw that they also host themed dinners throughout the year, which are definitely worth a try.

18/08/2025: I wrote a tirade a while ago about my experience at this restaurant, but it wasn't accepted. I'll write a more concise one: The service was terrible: we waited almost an hour and a half for the pizza. All the food was frozen and/or poor quality. The waitresses were rude and treated us poorly. Looking at other reviews, perhaps it was because some of the guys in the group had dark skin? We calculated the price of dinner (a pizza for €13.50, a mixed fried fish for €8/10, a plate of mushroom ravioli for €8/10, and a Coke and large water for €2.50 each), and the bill came to about €45. Why? Also, for the bill, a receipt was issued only to those who paid by card, but only the portion they paid was listed on it. I'll leave it to your imagination to figure out why... Furthermore, since last night, both I and a friend have been suffering from indigestion and severe digestive pain. I think it's due to the "great" fritto misto we shared. I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, but I'm doing so to warn future customers.

17/08/2025: The owner, Nicola, is very rude. It was a stormy evening and he wanted to seat us outside. The quality of the food... savory pasta, fried food, no comment. The waitresses are friendly. We won't be returning.

20/04/2025: Tornati a pranzo per la seconda Pasqua consecutiva, non possiamo aggiungere altro oltre a quello precedentemente scritto nelle altre recensioni. Cibo di ottima qualita', sapientemente cucinato. Servizio cortese e attento, prezzi equi sia per l' occasione che per la qualita' proposta, location molto bella. Che altro dire se non BRAVI E SUPERCONSIGLIATO!!!!!! .

The attention to those with food intolerances or vegetarian diets is also greatly appreciated: tailor-made dishes are equally tasty and carefully crafted. I absolutely recommend this place—I'll gladly return!

07/10/2025: A homely restaurant in the truest sense of the word! We ate here for 10 days straight, and every day was a surprise: the dishes were always different, meticulously prepared, and truly delicious. She—who does everything, from cooking to serving—is a force of nature: welcoming, attentive, and genuine. You can feel the passion and love she puts into her cooking in every dish. A rare place, where you feel at home and eat better than at home. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity and true flavors.

19/06/2025: Nel borgo storico di Lucignano questo ristorante è veramente buono: cucina della tradizione toscana di ottima qualità, anche quella più semplice (panzanella strepitosa) servita in un bel ristornate con una bellissima terrazza. I prezzi sono corretti, come le porzioni. Il personale è gentile ed estrmamente professionale, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Complimenti.

19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati all'ultimo minuto di sabato sera, e nonostante il locale fosse pieno, Stefania – gentilissima e davvero professionale – è riuscita a trovarci un tavolo. Un grazie speciale a lei per l'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio! Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: come antipasto abbiamo preso dei crostini deliziosi, saporiti e ben presentati. Il piatto forte della serata è stata la bistecca in costa, cotta alla perfezione e tenerissima – semplicemente eccezionale. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso di Montalcino che ha esaltato ogni sapore. Davvero ottimo! Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti: qualità, atmosfera e servizio impeccabili. È un ristorante che consiglio vivamente, ma… prenotate per tempo, soprattutto nel weekend!

09/08/2025: We were driving through and needed a lunch stop. We were not deceived by the ratings. It was exactly what we were looking for. A buffet offered with many meat, pasta, and vegetable dishes. You order at the buffet pointing to what you want and take a seat. They then serve you at the table and you pay at the counter when you are finished. The food was delicious. We had several types of chicken included bacon wrapped and a kabob. We had a beef wrapped in cheese, gnocchi that was perfectly cooked, a hearty lasagna, and green beans, broccoli, and potatoes. Bread was delicious! Overall, it was quick service and great food. We left full and ready for the rest of our drive. Thank you for the great service and wonderful food! Ciao!
