Everything is prepared with artisanal attention and great passion. The welcome is warm and the service genuine, demonstrating the dedication and love for the profession. The attention to those with food intolerances or vegetarian diets is also greatly appreciated: tailor-made dishes are equally tasty and carefully crafted. I absolutely recommend this place—I'll gladly return!

07/10/2025: A homely restaurant in the truest sense of the word! We ate here for 10 days straight, and every day was a surprise: the dishes were always different, meticulously prepared, and truly delicious. She—who does everything, from cooking to serving—is a force of nature: welcoming, attentive, and genuine. You can feel the passion and love she puts into her cooking in every dish. A rare place, where you feel at home and eat better than at home. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity and true flavors.

08/10/2025: Having dined at Mimmo's on many occasions, I can say that he knows his stuff when it comes to pizza, and he obviously follows the Neapolitan style, but even with the tongs, he was up to par! The atmosphere is modest and the service is good.

07/03/2026: We booked a tasting menu via the "gift a dinner" option on the restaurant's website, adding a message specifying that it was a birthday gift. Once we arrived, we were told that the tasting menu might not be available because they hadn't read our request in the message, but after a few minutes of waiting, we were informed that they were able to make it. The menu consisted of simple five courses, nothing special, and the dishes were identical to those on the à la carte menu. Besides the interminable wait between courses (we arrived at 8:30 PM and left at 11:15 PM), we were served a scoop of lemon sorbet for dessert. I was expecting something more elaborate. The price was too high for such simple dishes.

19/06/2025: Nel borgo storico di Lucignano questo ristorante è veramente buono: cucina della tradizione toscana di ottima qualità, anche quella più semplice (panzanella strepitosa) servita in un bel ristornate con una bellissima terrazza. I prezzi sono corretti, come le porzioni. Il personale è gentile ed estrmamente professionale, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Complimenti.

19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati all'ultimo minuto di sabato sera, e nonostante il locale fosse pieno, Stefania – gentilissima e davvero professionale – è riuscita a trovarci un tavolo. Un grazie speciale a lei per l'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio! Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: come antipasto abbiamo preso dei crostini deliziosi, saporiti e ben presentati. Il piatto forte della serata è stata la bistecca in costa, cotta alla perfezione e tenerissima – semplicemente eccezionale. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso di Montalcino che ha esaltato ogni sapore. Davvero ottimo! Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti: qualità, atmosfera e servizio impeccabili. È un ristorante che consiglio vivamente, ma… prenotate per tempo, soprattutto nel weekend!

18/10/2025: A simple charcuterie plate and a glass of Chianti - a lovely afternoon treat! There were six types of cured meats and two local cheeses on the small platter. The woman helping spoke some English and was very nice and accommodating. All in all a great, low key experience!

27/09/2025: A pleasant surprise!! Quality cured meats and cheeses?! Normal prices. We ordered a large cured meats and cheese platter, costing 18 euros. Really good. Worth it!! Fresh bread!!

26/06/2025: Review is about the dinner - didn’t stay at the B&B. First of all it’s CASH ONLY. Just a fyi. Basically they will serve you various courses for about 40€ a head. All the food was clearly fresh and excellently prepared. We had various appetizers, 4 different pastas, 3 different meats and two different desserts

18/10/2025: We're on vacation and chose this restaurant by chance. Fair prices, exceptional food, and a 100% Tuscan atmosphere. Andrea, the person who served us, was a cultured and friendly man.

26/12/2025: Booked through The Fork. A modern restaurant with its own unique style. You can choose between pizzas and sandwiches. We ordered two pinsa-style pizzas and a sandwich with a huge cutlet. The fries were quite good.
