14/02/2026: A restaurant and bar in the Eni gas station, on the western outskirts of Arezzo, near the hamlet of San Giuliano. Open weekdays, especially for lunch, it caters primarily to workers. The food is good, the service is fairly quick, and the prices are fair—if you pay attention to what you order. The restaurant has just a few tables; additional tables can be set up in the adjoining gazebo. The space is a bit cramped, and with the tables close together, conversations from neighbors can sometimes be distracting. Sometimes the place is full and you have to wait; other times, you can find a seat immediately. Parking is available behind and next to the gas station. A simple bar counter with a display case for sweet and savory items. The staff is courteous. The restrooms are clean. The food is good and tasty, although sometimes a bit over-seasoned/heavy with oil.

01/08/2026: If there were a way to give zero stars, this would be it... a very unfriendly owner who was truly not 0% accommodating and wouldn't even give the dog tap water while we ate his ice cream, which I can neither praise nor criticize.

02/05/2026: Returning from vacation, we were looking for a quick stop with good food and a nice atmosphere. This family-friendly place welcomed us, and we ate delicious pizza. Fast service and very friendly staff. They make pizza and pinsa, which are definitely worth a try. They also have outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

25/04/2026: I was there on a Saturday, and even though I was in a real hurry, I was immediately greeted warmly. I can say that the service was excellent and, above all, fast. The staff was very polite and friendly. I opted for a truly delicious pizza. I'll definitely be back, perhaps more slowly, to try their other specialties.

08/06/2026: A campsite as campsites should be: a section with lots of trees (you almost feel like you're in a forest) and a section with partial shade. And very spacious pitches! The campsite itself is also large, with a few permanent cabins and tents, but you hardly notice them. A very large and nice swimming pool right next to the campsite, a restaurant, a somewhat outdated (gravel) tennis court, and excellent (spacious!) sanitary facilities. The staff was very friendly.

20/06/2026: I wanted to have lunch here. I counted in it based on looking it on the internet. The website said it was open, but when I got there it was closed. Why is it so hard for restaurant owners to update their website? If they can't handle it, then they should not have a website!

01/06/2026: We visited this restaurant and definitely won't be coming back. The food was very disappointing. Both the lamb with vegetables and the rabbit were deep-fried, making them heavy, dry, and tasteless. The pizza was soggy, and using canned mushrooms instead of fresh ones was really unacceptable. The fried potatoes were terrible – they tasted old and reheated. The only positive thing was the friendly service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

03/05/2026: Beautiful restaurant with a view and swimming pool, the bruschetta and the tagliata were delicious and finally I also had panna cotta with strawberries, what can I say fabulous 😋

15/04/2026: We spent three magical nights at I Tre Baroni, taking advantage of the three-night package that included a room with a spa, a private massage, a private excursion, and a tasting dinner at the Mater restaurant (a truly special place!). What can I say? From the very beginning, Gessica was incredibly kind and available to answer all our questions and clarify any doubts, even before our stay, personalizing our experience. When we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed. The room was gorgeous, very spacious, with a spectacular view of the Casentinesi Forests National Park. The room was spotless, with a hot tub and sauna. The private excursion with Stefano was a wonderful experience: his guide was invaluable in helping us fully appreciate the wonders of the park! The dinners at the restaurant were also highly recommended: the atmosphere is meticulously maintained and welcoming, the service impeccable, and you have the opportunity to sample the local flavors, expertly cooked and served. We hope to return soon, and thanks again to Gessica and Messan for their hospitality and professionalism! Alice & Genna

13/04/2026: An unacceptable experience. I was looking for the silence of Casentino, but I found chaos. It all started with a lack of transparency: I booked a suite with a sauna, but upon check-in, they gave me a different room without telling me, hoping I wouldn't notice. Only after I protested was I granted a change; there's no point in calling it an upgrade, since the room offered lacked the booked amenities and was aesthetically inferior. The rest was a crescendo of poor service: - Technical: The suite shower was unusable due to lack of pressure. - Acoustic: A sleepless night due to the roar of the whirlpool tubs below (until midnight). I didn't call again just to avoid waking my partner, who, after various mix-ups, had only managed to sleep thanks to earplugs. - Construction site: Awake at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, hammering on the roof and weaving between construction trucks to get to breakfast. Work was kept quiet until arrival despite a recent reservation (24 hours in advance). The 50% discount was obtained only after a firm discussion. The initial disrespect and the construction-like environment are incompatible with a high-end hotel. Not recommended.

16/05/2026: More style than substance, or at least that's the claim. In my opinion, the portions were tiny, and the taste and quality varied. The pork tenderloin was as dry as a pancake. There's more to say, including some positive things, but overall, no, I wasn't satisfied at all. I went home disappointed and hungry to have my second dinner there.

07/05/2026: Passing through charming Anghiari, I chose this trattoria based on the menu and reviews. I had made a reservation to be safe, but since it was a weekday, it wasn't necessary, especially since we were a couple. I expected traditional cuisine, and that's exactly what I got. A platter of local cured meats, two first courses, and the typical poccia dessert. I was completely satisfied. The place is pleasantly elegant, but it feels like home. Excellent service and hospitality. The appetizer included a pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup) and a taste of vin santo with dessert. Reasonable prices considering all of this. I would return. Recommended.

10/06/2026: Visited the restaurant for dinner, beautiful location with a lovely, peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The food was 10/10, fresh, authentic and full of rich flavour. Service was also wonderful, our waiter was helpful and welcoming, and food timing was perfect. All is all very pleasant experience.

04/06/2026: The hotel is great for those looking for absolute relax far from cities or towns. The room was spacious and clean, the common areas are great with a countryside feeling. The staff was welcoming and nice with our 3 months old kid and our dog. The restaurant is excellent, very good food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. If I had to mention something to improve would be the following: It would be nice to have free water available as there are no places to buy it nearby. A coffee/bar onsite would be good during the day for the same reason, if you want to have something you need to go by car. When you are in the pool and craving a drink it would be great to have the possibility to have it there. On Sundays the restaurant is closed as they typically have private events. It is quite unfortunate for the guests because of the noise and having to pick up the car and travel at least 10 minutes to have lunch or dinner.

15/05/2026: Nothing to comment on the place or the food. A nice place, and the food was good quality and well-cooked. Friendly staff. I didn't like the situation when it came to paying the bill. It was a hotel deal, but they added extras that I didn't understand. Considering that no wine or desserts were served. One thing I don't like is that you're a restaurant and you can't use paper napkins. I repeat, you're a restaurant, not a bar or pub. I'm not talking about water with a tap, as they say in Tuscany, "cinnamon water" or "sistola" is what I use to water the garden.
