09/04/2026: I stopped by this typical restaurant in the town center. I was served by two extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. Excellent cured meats, delicious wines (truly amazing), some unusual (and delicious!) Argentinian products, and very reasonable prices, I'd even say low. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: terrible experience, I arrive inside the place and place my order via the touch screen using the offers, as I usually do, unfortunately the screen freezes, I signal to one of the ladies who were working and I am ignored, then I approach the house and politely ask for help from a very annoyed girl who comes to give me a hand but the screen remains frozen, meanwhile another girl calls muttering something underneath, this other girl on the phone signals to wait (in all this I had to catch the train and I risked missing it) the fact is that the girl ends the call and leaves without giving me a hand a security guy kindly approaches me to give me a hand (which is strange since it shouldn't be his job but rather the employees there for the purpose) I move to another screen thus losing the offers no one offers to give me a hand again I end up placing the order again spending more obviously because I could no longer use the offers, the girls there serving in a terrible way those who were chatting among themselves and those who are on the phone, despite What happened just before and even though I was in a hurry, to finish I took the bigger bags to fit everything in, one of these employees put the Coca-Colas all crooked, wetting the whole bag. I was in a hurry because of the train and I didn't realize it when I got to the platform the bottom of the bag gave way and my two Coca-Colas ended up on the floor. Bottom line: I gained two less Coca-Colas, spent more money and a nervous breakdown that will last for the rest of the day, simply awful.

29/03/2026: We had a number of outstanding meals during our week in Cortona, and this restaurant experience stood out among them. Food was top notch (local classics well executed) and service was excellent throughout. Our visit was during the off season, so we did not need a reservation and sat in a room with a large party (and an even larger celebration was happening in an adjacent room--yet our small party enjoyed a quiet meal)...we went for dinner and it was dark, so we didn't get to enjoy the views but their location is perfect for taking in beautiful views of the valley below Cortona. Starting with the "mixed fried foods" (delightful mix of fried veggies, polenta, cheese) with prosecco, then pici with fumo sauce and secondi with chianina beef (tried both the filet with wine sauce and slices with truffle butter)--we had a wonderful meal. A nicely breaded chicken filet with fries was offered to our young son, who enjoyed his meal as well (children's menus are not typical in the region). Dessert (chocolate cake with mascarpone and berries, along with amaro and cappuccinos) and local wine (Cortona syrah) were perfect additions. We highly recommend Ristorante Tonino!

08/11/2025: ✍️ 🆕️ GOOD FOOD AND A BREATHTAKING VIEW ✅️💥 🍖🍝🥂For lunch, we chose this restaurant for its slightly secluded location compared to the others along the main street and for the option of eating outside on its terrace, accompanied by an exceptional view. The food particularly amazed us: from the lightness of the asparagus flan as an appetizer, to the delicacy of the risotto with zucchini flowers and pine nuts, to the bold flavor of the blueberry pappardelle with white Chianina ragù. 07/03/2026: A pleasant surprise, My friend and I ordered a platter they recommended, accompanied by two glasses of excellent draft wine. A Bolgheri. The desserts were highly recommended, the apple cake with vanilla and cinnamon was worth a second. The staff was attentive to our needs and gave us the best advice.

04/11/2025: Personally, we didn't enjoy it. We ordered a seafood risotto, which arrived completely overcooked and had a rather questionable flavor. A plate of pasta with an inedible sauce and pizzas that were barely adequate.

16/05/2026: Marcella, Luca, and the entire staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The pizza is delicious and made with quality ingredients. The vegan cheese version is excellent!

10/04/2026: A charming pub-like venue. The menu is well-received, offering a refined culinary experience with quality ingredients. The pizza is excellent. A wide selection of good beers is available. The service is attentive and polite, and they're always happy to offer helpful recommendations.

07/12/2025: Arezzo, Sunday, December 7th. All the restaurants in the center were packed, not even a table for two people. Moving slightly away from the Piazza Grande, we tried this restaurant. The waiter was immediately very friendly, and we were able to get a seat. The place is cute, and the lunch was truly spectacular. We had Pici with Tuscan Ragù and roast pork with fried bread. Both were very tasty, and you could taste the use of quality ingredients, such as the olive oil. Finally, we had two desserts; between the two, the apple tart with custard was so good it made me want to cry, as they say in Rome. Highly recommended restaurant for a typical Tuscan lunch. Not an osteria where you eat "a lot," but a place where you eat truly well!

The restaurant is truly top-quality, with simple, homemade cuisine, a vegetable garden adjacent to the property, and an exquisite menu. A truly positive overall experience; we will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff. IMPORTANT: This business is SEASONAL and is open from Easter until the first week of November.
