30/07/2025: We offered our son a cooking class, and we all attended. It was an excellent experience! We received such warm welcome, advice, and support. The class was perfect, and the meal was delicious! The wine was good and the price was more than reasonable!
The two owners are lovely...

Traveling with our 18-month-old and pregnant wife can sometimes make dining out a bit tricky, but the staff here went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were kind, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful — making space for us, engaging warmly with our toddler, and ensuring everything was just right.
The food and drinks were equally amazing — beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell this place is run with heart. It’s rare to find a spot that makes you feel like family while serving such high-quality offerings. Don’t miss it — especially if you’re looking for somewhere warm, stylish, and family-friendly.

23/09/2025: We went to this wonderful restaurant for lunch on Saturday, September 20th. The atmosphere was very refined and welcoming. We ate upstairs at a beautiful round wooden table, and there were four of us. The staff was friendly and professional. And to think, I didn't even want to go because I was so intrigued by the menu at another restaurant! Instead, everything was delicious; we gladly accepted the manager's advice and attention! What can I say: highly recommended, and if I return to Anghiari, it will definitely be a must!
The price was reasonable for the dishes we ordered. Thanks again for the lovely visit.

24/08/2025: Dream vacation! We stayed as a family at this beautiful property in the Val di Chiana and couldn't have asked for anything better. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean, equipped with every comfort and with incredibly comfortable beds. The view of the Tuscan countryside, with its sunflowers, is something you'll never forget.
Extremely kind staff: Nadia was always available, friendly, and very professional, and Mr. Franco also welcomed us with great courtesy. We chose half-board and ate deliciously, with traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with care. The dining room staff was truly impeccable.
The pool is large, clean, and has plenty of space to relax. The property is dog-friendly and perfect for families with children: my niece was thrilled! Lots of green spaces and the opportunity to even experience flying thanks to the on-site school... truly exciting!
Excellent location for visiting the Val di Chiana, Val d'Orcia, and even Umbria. Breakfast served in your room was a real treat, a real treat. A special thank you for the attention paid to my brother-in-law's birthday: cake and sparkling wine provided by the staff, a gesture we greatly appreciated.
We were treated with great care. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
17/07/2025: I'm not giving the rooms stars because we didn't stay overnight because we live nearby.
Yesterday was my daughter's third birthday in a row at the Serristori in Castiglion Fiorentino, Manciano to be precise.
An afternoon at the pool with my daughter, the birthday girl, and my family, as well as her friends from school.
A place can be beautiful and fulfilling, but people like Nadia at the front desk make it unique.
A very kind, yet serious and meticulous young woman, always ready to offer the service requested by the guest, such as an aperitif by the pool or a hairdryer because we didn't have one.
Then in the evening, I asked her for a fork and knife that I was missing, and she also gave me a new napkin. I told her I had one, and she replied that I had dropped it (two seconds earlier, and she was quick to notice) and so she was giving it to me clean.
True customer service.
Exceptional pizzas, and with the constant presence of Franco, one of the partners, always smiling and welcoming.
Well, if you haven't yet tried the relaxing pool and good food, give them a try. They're also a great place to soar, with their landing strip for small planes and helicopters, offering a bird's-eye view of the Valdichiana from Cortona to Lake Trasimeno.

17/07/2025: Il ristorante era stato suggerito dall'Hotel Sangallo (stesso proprietario), con la promessa di uno sconto del 10%. Lo sconto non e' stato applicato e, nonostante lo abbia fatto notare, hanno rimosso l'argomento con qualche battuta ma tenedosi i 5 euro.
Per antipasto ho ordinato delle melanzane ripiene con ricotta. Piatto insapore, ha preso un po' di forza solo dopo che ho aggiunto dell’olio di oliva. Senza lode e senza infamia.
Il primo piatto aveva dei tagliolini non fatti in casa, mentre lo zafferano utilizzato risultava di scarsa qualità con un sapore molto acre. Le mandorle non erano fresche ma di taglio industriale. Prodotti comprati e assemblati.
Pessima infine l’anatra che ho mandato subito indietro al cameriere: era impossibile tagliarla. E' stata purtroppo cotta e ricotta non so quante volte, fino a sembrare ormai bollita. Cotture completamente sbagliate.
Nonostante che l’anatra sia stata mandata indietro interamente perché non commestibile, è stata ugualmente addebitata come si vede da ricevuta in allegato.
Serata da dimenticare!
23/06/2025: In questa cittadina medievale ho potuto apprezzare il buon cibo in diversi ristoranti e pub ma in questo locale, bellissimo nel centro cittadino, , si respira tranquillità e si mangia veramente bene se ti fai consigliare dai gestori. Ottimo il pesce e ben condito, ottimi i primi e gli stuzzichini e una tagliata morbidissima e cotta al punto giusto. Con i vini ti puoi sbizzarrire e pure con i dessert. Il prezzo può sembrare un pò alto ma quando si mangia bene non guardi a dieci euro, se puoi.

We ordered a seafood risotto, which arrived completely overcooked and had a rather questionable flavor.
A plate of pasta with an inedible sauce and pizzas that were barely adequate.

But the price-performance ratio wasn't convincing.

-Pici Ragu was good.
-The calamaro tasted very good. However, the portion size was "very" small. There was toasted bread between the calamaro to fill the plate.
I would have preferred calamaro instead of croutons...
-Sectero Melanzane e Cipolla was okay, tasty but not enough even for my wife...
-The carbonara had curdled. I sent it back. The server told me that their carbonara is always like that and is kept warm in the oven to be more digestible for the customer!?
I got a new plate. This pasta tasted completely different from the first plate. The sauce was creamy, you could taste the guanciale, and there was fresh black pepper on the pasta...
Additionally, the dishes for the primi and secondi didn't arrive at the table at the same time. We had to wait about five minutes for both courses to be served!?
The ambiance is modern, but the toilet perfume is very overpowering. We found this very unpleasant.
The whole place smelled of a toilet, not of food.
All in all, it has to be said that a mistake like the one with the carbonara shouldn't happen in an upscale restaurant!
17/09/2025: My partner and I had looked up restaurants to go in Stia as we are staying in Via Roma 33.
We arrived around 8pm on a Wednesday evening. We could only see one person in eating, but it looked lovely inside so we gave it a shot and my was it worth it!
I had the beef with celeriac, shallot and truffle puree with a side if green beans.
My partner had a tagliatelle in a ragu with a side of roasted chipped potatoes. Both dishes were beautiful with particular mention the beef dish. Truly exquisite, so light and bursting with flavour. We weren't going to have dessert but it was also delicious we decided to have a look!!!
I had the cannoli with hazelnut ice cream and a sort of bread like sponge in a chocolate soup of sorts. I have never tasted a combination like it. My fiancee has passionfruit sorbet. Stunning
We will be back before the holiday is over. Best meal we have had so far.
Server was wonderfully kind and helpful.
