19/08/2025: We just left the Chef Express restaurant in the Lucignano Ovest service area, where we often stop during our travels: the atmosphere is very refined, clean, and welcoming. We were welcomed by Mrs. Serena, who prepared us a second course of first courses consisting of tagliatelle with ragù and rigatoni carbonara, all prepared with care and skill. We will definitely return on our next trip. See you soon.

04/05/2025: Ero stato la prima e unica volta in questo ristorante nel 2018 e gia' allora c'erano tutti i presupposti per una crescita esponenziale. Ho organizzato la cena di compleanno per la mia fidanzata con l'idea di testare l'evoluzione della cucina e devo dire che le ns aspettative sono state pienamente ripagate. Abbiamo optato per il menu degustazione corto, il giusto compromesso per trovare un perfetto connubio tra creatività e innovazione senza uscire con la fame. Eravamo gli unici due ospiti quella sera quindi le coccole dello staff sono state a dir poco personalizzate....

04/02/2025: Mi esposa y yo comimos aquí por mi cumpleaños. Éramos las únicas dos personas en el restaurante durante las primeras dos horas de la comida un lunes por la noche en febrero. Otra pareja llegó a eso de las 9: 30 PM. Nuestra comida era fantástica. Es muy difícil crear nuevos platos que también sean realmente deliciosos, pero teníamos un menú degustación de ocho platos y siete de los platos eran completamente nuevos para mí: uno de los ocho era un poco más clásico de la toscana (hígado de cerdo asado con cebolla ... ten en cuenta que esto significa que el hígado de cerdo asado fue el más banal de los platos que comimos esa noche). Algunos de los aspectos más destacados de los deliciosos e inventivos platos fueron las uvas a la parrilla con kambucha, una natilla salada de huevo que comimos al estilo scarpetta con pan, hongos en un rico caldo de levadura, un aceite de árbol de hoja perenne utilizado para sumergir el pan (creo que podría haber estado basado en savia de abeto de bálsamo) , verdes de nabo glaseados en una potente reducción de pollo, un postre estilo natilla de queso dulce y tomates cherry dulces en un caldo de tomate transparente dulce (este era un postre) . Las porciones eran perfectas, en mi opinión. No tenía hambre cuando me fui, pero también estaba ansioso por que llegara cada curso. Tuvimos una comida realmente fantástica. La comida definitivamente no es tradicional de ninguna manera; pero si usted es un comensal muy experimentado en busca de algo nuevo y verdaderamente delicioso, entonces Octavin definitivamente debe estar en su lista de lugares para ir.

13/07/2025: Vi har nu besøgt denne restaurant to gange og vi var meget begejstret hvergang. Første gang fik vi to forretter og to hovedretter, begge dele var meget velsmagende. Betjeningen var i top og der var masser af italiensk charme. Stedet er ikke et luksus sted men super hyggeligt. Anden gang måtte vi bare prøve deres pizzaer, første gang vi kom så vi pizzaerne og blev hurtig enig om de skulle prøves. Vi bestilte to forskellige og de var bedre end gode. De pizzaer vi fik er de tyndeste jeg nogensinde har fået, så er man ikke til det er det nok ikke stedet for jer. Vi vil genbesøge stedet inden vi skal videre.

14/05/2025: Le personnel est chaleureux, italien, Le service est rapide , peut être trop, L es calope aux haricots est réussie,les raviolis également, Le tiramisu n a pas déçu, et la glace citron laisse un souvenir ému, Le vin en pichet est très décevant,

10/08/2025: locale retrò con gusto che lascia a desiderare sia nelle poltrone che arredi. L'ingresso adatto , senza offesa, per camionisti e non eccessivamente pulito. Un pò tutta la s truttura, c'è anche l'annesso hotel, non è delle migliori e siamo, praticamente, in aperta campagna, una piccola frazione di Castiglion Fiorentino. E' difficile capire qual'è il piatto tipicoo quello d el giorno perchè la presentazione è un pò confusionaria. Cibo sufficientemente discreto ma nulla di particolarmente allettante. Servizio passabile e insomma un ambiente che non lascia il segno anche se i prezzi sono più che praticabili e per quasi tutt le tasche. Magari non era una giornata particolarmente attrattiva e converebbe riprovare in altre occasioni conviviali.

22/06/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. The only authentic Moroccan restaurant in Valdarno. The food was delicious, typical and tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. The owner of the restaurant was kind and available to explain all the dishes on the menu. All in all, really excellent!

06/08/2025: Cibo nella media, ma la mia esperienza lì come lavoratore è stata estremamente deludente. L’atmosfera dietro le quinte era oppressiva, e il trattamento del personale ben lontano dal rispetto che ogni luogo di lavoro dovrebbe garantire.

06/08/2025: We have a B&B by the sea in Porto Recanati and a house in Grosseto. Wonderful Cortona is halfway between here, and when we travel, we stop at the old trattoria where the food is excellent, with authentic old-world flavors, and the drinks are divine. The kindness is a hallmark, and the atmosphere is truly stunning. It's a wonderful way to experience and enjoy a fabulous evening. Thank you.

30/04/2025: The place is very well looked after. Private parking. The service was fast even though it was almost full. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu offers a wide choice of Roman pizza and focaccia. There are also first and second meat courses.
