09/03/2025: A historic, typical and very well-kept Sangiovannese bar located in the main square of this beautiful town which is recognized as the birthplace of Masaccio. There are large internal and external rooms that overlook the Palazzo d'Arnolfo, the focal point of the entire historic centre, in fact it is the most representative building of the city and perhaps of the entire Upper Valdarno, a certainly suggestive reason to have a nice aperitif on one of the many well-arranged tables made available at Caffè Fiorenza. This business offers many services and has a large menu of both general foods and cafeterias, worth mentioning are the excellent drinks. Advised? Absolutely YES.

01/01/2025: We stopped by this bar and enjoyed nice service at the counter and excellent coffee. Of the croissants, although varied and beautiful to look at, there were only frozen ones, too bad.

04/05/2025: Good appetizer but getting the assembly wrong is difficult! Terrible pizza! It didn't cut! Hard and not leavened! I'm sorry but it's also hard to digest!

19/04/2025: This unknown Italian.... Tempted by an advertising post that appeared on Facebook we decide to participate in this "unlimited shellfish" dinner Now I didn't believe it was fresh fish but they used frozen fish given the not excessive price and in fact I was right but there were things left unsaid that I consider serious shortcomings. Once we arrived they made us sit with 8 other diners at a very narrow table for 10 people (it had not been specified that we were at a shared table), after an initial dismay of all the diners we started dinner and we were served the cold starter and it wasn't bad, as reported on the event poster there was supposed to be hot and cold starter but we only got a bit of mussels and that was it. Let's move on to the first one which wasn't bad but in review the portion was really small but let's move on there had to be the unlimited grilled shellfish and I thought I'll make up for it with that.... Wrong thinking! After the first serving where they served us a piece of each fish (by the way, the mussels and scallops au gratin that were immediately finished are molluscs and not crustaceans) they returned with a refresher of prawns and that was it. When I asked if there was anything else I was told no (what the hell kind of unlimited barbecue is it if the stuff runs out? Well!) Let's move on to the advertised desserts which we all expected to be a mix of tiramisu and panna cotta or something similar and instead we were served a lemon sorbet and many thanks and goodbye (until now in my opinion)! Anything can be done or said but if you advertise a menu and you have to respect it to the letter otherwise it's a joke and instead of building customer loyalty you make them run away. It's fine to do things "the good way" but here it goes too far, personally we won't go back!

09/03/2025: A mouth-watering gastronomic surprise! Found by chance through a search for "restaurants in the area" on the way back for a weekend, location of intimate simplicity, familiar and very courteous service, unforgettable food! Buffalo steak for 10 with flavors enhanced by cooking, the other courses are also very tasty. I will definitely be back Pamela.

22/11/2024: Very kind staff, fixed menu at an excellent price, excellent food and wine quality, super value for money. What more could you ask for? I stop every now and then when I pass by on my motorbike for an excellent lunch. I recommend it.

24/05/2025: Premise: nothing to complain about the pizza, quality and creativity. That said, I will report my experience, to say the least, shameful. Dinner before the cinema with a table booked very early to make time for the film, when we arrived the room was almost empty. We ordered quickly, after about 40 minutes the girls' orders arrived (fortunately). In the meantime the room had filled up and several tables passed us halfway through their orders. After about an hour, having not received the order from us adults, we decided to get up, pay the bill for what we had consumed and leave, especially since the film was about to start. The girl at the cash register told us that it was not correct of us not to wait for the pizzas which, by chance, were practically ready. We pointed out to her that we had been waiting for an hour and that without arguing we wanted to avoid missing the start of the film The person who I believe to be the manager was called and started an argument with her that ended with us being forced to take away the pizzas in cardboard boxes to make us pay the full price for the consumption (not done). During the discussion we were told that we had to book in advance if we were in a hurry and that they would go to the garage since the pizzas were, by chance, ready. He told us that the room was full (which was not true when we arrived and when we ordered). In conclusion: incorrectness, rudeness and inability to manage the service. A disgrace. It's a shame because the weapons for a good product and an excellent result would be all there. But we need to work with precision and correctness.

24/04/2025: First and last time an hour and a half for a burnt margherita pizza, tasteless and dry sauce (biscuit)... we arrived there was only one occupied table, the place was full but for a pizza it's not possible to wait an hour or more... Anyway, I won't go back there anymore... there's better in the area

04/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale accanto al nostro hotel. Posto molto curato e piacevole, per noi il migliore di Anghiari. Il titolare Alessandro lavora con passione e attenzione, lui e tutto il personale sono stati gentili e accoglienti, la pizza, preparata con un impasto a lievitazione naturale, era davvero ottima e anche i dolci della casa erano deliziosi. Torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo.

19/04/2025: The pizza is delicious, a mix of flours that make the dough light and well leavened. Pleasant and welcoming environment and atmosphere. The service is impeccable and courteous. Super!

04/04/2025: I was there in June 2023 if I'm not mistaken... Experience immersed in nature... Very kind staff, I gave the room three stars because it was full of cobwebs, the very old Samsung brand TV with a decoder... The location, which is surrounded by nature was ok... But the phone didn't get a signal and I couldn't notify the relatives! There was only Wi-Fi! Everything else is ok... Just a piece of advice... We are in 2025, use some modern technology in your hotel! P.S: Magnificent breakfast! 5 star service!

24/12/2024: Attentive and competent staff. Buffet breakfast served on the terrace in the shade of the cypresses. The swimming pool is also beautiful. We relaxed for a couple of hours before tackling the journey back to the car. Free parking available to customers

04/05/2025: Wonderful, good food and very nice, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Avoid Sundays, chosen by groups (therefore noisy) and the service leaves something to be desired: half portions arrive

12/05/2025: Great reception well received and pleasant. Beautiful place to stay and very peaceful, facilities are good and always clean. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay around the bucine area.

11/05/2025: We were with friends and we immediately breathed the air of the old-time trattoria. Nice place. Friendly staff. All good especially the meat. A sore point is the pizza which is thin like a biscuit. Excellent value for money. I recommend the fixed menu with meat.
