16/05/2026: More style than substance, or at least that's the claim. In my opinion, the portions were tiny, and the taste and quality varied. The pork tenderloin was as dry as a pancake. There's more to say, including some positive things, but overall, no, I wasn't satisfied at all. I went home disappointed and hungry to have my second dinner there.

07/05/2026: Passing through charming Anghiari, I chose this trattoria based on the menu and reviews. I had made a reservation to be safe, but since it was a weekday, it wasn't necessary, especially since we were a couple. I expected traditional cuisine, and that's exactly what I got. A platter of local cured meats, two first courses, and the typical poccia dessert. I was completely satisfied. The place is pleasantly elegant, but it feels like home. Excellent service and hospitality. The appetizer included a pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup) and a taste of vin santo with dessert. Reasonable prices considering all of this. I would return. Recommended.

04/12/2025: I visited this restaurant for a fixed-menu fish dinner. The food was good, and the value was good. The dessert was delicious.

13/05/2026: It's well known that even the most remote villages offer pleasant surprises. This is the case in Montagnano, a tiny hamlet of Monte San Savino, not far from Arezzo. In this town of about 800 inhabitants, I discovered Babylon Caffè, a bar and ice cream shop that rivals any of the city's eateries. At first glance, the space isn't particularly large, but moving further down the hall, we find another spacious room. Both the aperitif and the ice cream are excellent. The staff are very friendly.

03/01/2026: Excellent ingredients. Congratulations on the burgers, they're spectacular.... But the rest of the menu is also worth trying. The grilled meat is special.

11/05/2026: A very nice property in a somewhat secluded location. We arrived on Sunday; there had apparently been a wedding reception the day before. The staff were therefore primarily occupied with cleaning up. However, this wasn't a problem, as the restaurant is closed on Sundays anyway. Breakfast and dinner were truly excellent. The seating was superb both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are spacious and a bit dated, but you can see that in the photos when booking. The access road is somewhat adventurous, as there are an extremely large number of deep potholes.

01/05/2026: Excellent location, easy access, great road, we were warmly welcomed at check-in by Dona Eugênia. Spacious room and bathroom, unlike other places in Italy, large shower with strong water pressure. New bed linens and towels. Efficient room heating. The breakfast was spectacular, with cold cuts, breads, cakes, lots of variety and well-presented; Corina served us very well and prepared an excellent cappuccino. Well-maintained outdoor area, clean pool (even though the temperature didn't allow for use). Wide view, a stunning sunset. The neighboring towns of Cortona and Camucia were a pleasant surprise, with beautiful and good restaurant options. Availability of a well-regarded restaurant on site. We were very happy with our choice.

09/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui per il secondo anno dovendo alloggiare nel vicino hotel per spezzare un viaggio in autostrada. Ancora più buono della prima volta. Personale gentile e accogliente, cucina tipica con un menu non lunghissimo ma vario: carne pesce, primi e pizza. Fanno anche cocktail e tutto è preparato da loro con prodotti di qualità. Atmosfera rilassante ma non formale e prezzi nella media.

04/06/2026: An experience not to be missed! It feels like walking into a simple deli, but instead you eat like in a typical trattoria. Simple and authentic dishes. Excellent value for money.

18/03/2026: Rustic shop in the Arezzo countryside. We had a quick lunch with delicious schiacciata and cured meats. You order at the counter and wait for a call to pick up your food. Fair prices, a nice stop after a walk in the surrounding countryside.

17/05/2026: Extremely warm and friendly welcome, top-notch facilities, fantastic campsite in a region untouched by mass tourism. Bank transfer recommended.

14/02/2026: A restaurant and bar in the Eni gas station, on the western outskirts of Arezzo, near the hamlet of San Giuliano. Open weekdays, especially for lunch, it caters primarily to workers. The food is good, the service is fairly quick, and the prices are fair—if you pay attention to what you order. The restaurant has just a few tables; additional tables can be set up in the adjoining gazebo. The space is a bit cramped, and with the tables close together, conversations from neighbors can sometimes be distracting. Sometimes the place is full and you have to wait; other times, you can find a seat immediately. Parking is available behind and next to the gas station. A simple bar counter with a display case for sweet and savory items. The staff is courteous. The restrooms are clean. The food is good and tasty, although sometimes a bit over-seasoned/heavy with oil.
