07/09/2025: Don't expect a refined atmosphere or gourmet dishes; the location is simple, and the dishes have authentic, amazing flavors. We were in Lucignano for a short vacation, and after dining at Trattoria Del Gallo on Wednesday evening, we returned on Thursday and Friday evenings. The portions were generous, everything was perfect, from appetizer to dessert, and the bill at the end of the meal will pleasantly surprise you. If you're in the area, it's a must-try (on Friday evening, the wild boar stew is spectacular). We'll definitely be back.

07/09/2025: The food probably saves the place but the owner is not at all friendly and the hospitality leaves much to be desired. Finally, the location is small, perhaps creating intimacy, but for me it's a bit cramped.

04/04/2025: FINALMENTE siamo tornati a degustare il pesce dal Matto,a pranzo il venerdì nuovamente in menù.....oggi un Risotto allo scoglio da favola,una frittura croccante ed un'insalata di mare semplicemente gustosa....Quanti ricordi ci sono tornati in mente...quante serate , anni orsono ,ad aspettare lo show di Fulvio che dopo una superba cena "pesciaiola" distribuiva vassoiate in testa ai commensali.....

20/06/2025: STREPITOSO!!! Ieri sera passeggiando per il paese ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante, siamo stati accolti con grande simpatia. Ci siamo trovati in un ambiente molto piacevole, arredando con buon gusto (se potete prenotate il tavolo sul terrazzino, molto romantico). In attesa delle nostre scelte, hanno servito una pappa al pomodoro molto delicata e buona. Tagliere di formaggi per aprire le danze, accompagnati da miele, marmellata di fichi e olive, a seguire le tagliatelle al ragù bianco di chianina erano buonissime, io ho preso il filetto alla griglia al tartufo, eccezionale davvero, la carne si scioglieva in bocca. Per finire torcolo con il vin santo.

03/09/2025: Mitika Tuscan osteria with traditional meat dishes, very casual but high quality! We'll definitely be back! They were very kind, even to me, even though I'm a vegetarian. I had a wonderful cacio e pepe and bruschetta appetizer!

30/08/2025: The value for money is truly one of the worst. The service is very friendly and makes you feel at home, and the appetizers are delicious (a cheese and cold cuts platter). The real problem, in our opinion, are the first courses: we ordered a "gricia" and a "cacio e pepe." Being from Rome, I know what these dishes are like, and the cheese on both dishes literally melted like mozzarella on a pizza. The portions were average, not particularly generous, and above all, the bill, in my opinion, was very high. There's no menu (so you can't see the prices), and in a place like this, you can't spend €50 for two plates of pasta and a cold cuts platter. The older man serving us is very nice and friendly, but with that food and that bill, I'd say he's just not worth it.

18/08/2025: I wrote a tirade a while ago about my experience at this restaurant, but it wasn't accepted. I'll write a more concise one: The service was terrible: we waited almost an hour and a half for the pizza. All the food was frozen and/or poor quality. The waitresses were rude and treated us poorly. Looking at other reviews, perhaps it was because some of the guys in the group had dark skin? We calculated the price of dinner (a pizza for €13.50, a mixed fried fish for €8/10, a plate of mushroom ravioli for €8/10, and a Coke and large water for €2.50 each), and the bill came to about €45. Why? Also, for the bill, a receipt was issued only to those who paid by card, but only the portion they paid was listed on it. I'll leave it to your imagination to figure out why... Furthermore, since last night, both I and a friend have been suffering from indigestion and severe digestive pain. I think it's due to the "great" fritto misto we shared. I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, but I'm doing so to warn future customers.

01/07/2025: Wir kommen seit Jahren zu diesem schönen Ort. Wer allerdings einen guten Kaffee oder Cappuccino erwartet wird schwer enttäuscht. Kapselkaffee in Italien widerspricht diesem schönen Land. Mit der schlechteste Cappuccino/ Latte Macchiato den wir je getrunken haben. Dann lieber keinen Kaffee anbieten. Die Bedienung war wir immer freundlich. Der Garden selbst wunderschön
