26/06/2025: Un pesce fuor d'acqua (in senso letterale e positivo) in un Valdarno dove chi ama mangiare pesce non sa mai che pesci pigliare: da non confondere con locali limitrofi, che di simile hanno soltanto il nome: consigliato, anzi, OBBLIGATO.

27/08/2025: A family-run hotel located in Chiusi della Verna, in a small village that seems to have stood still (at least in the old part and the main street), just steps from the Sanctuary of La Verna, which can also be reached via a walking trail through the woods (known as the Fairy Woods). The rooms are very charming, simply furnished but functional and clean. There's parking next to the hotel, and it also has a garden where you can relax in the shade. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to guests' needs, and are happy to offer advice on routes and things to see. The food is excellent. In fact, it's also popular with guests from other hotels, residents, and people from nearby towns who come for dinner. The tagliata ai funghi was amazing. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations to the entire staff.

29/08/2025: A small café/bistro. Perfect for a quick breakfast; the coffee and sweet pastries are fabulous. We were only there for breakfast, but apparently, you can also have a good lunch here. The lady behind the counter was always super friendly.

04/10/2025: We found this place by chance. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. It's a shame there's a mismatch between service, food, and prices. Arriving at a newly opened and empty restaurant, we waited over half an hour for an appetizer and a first course, and almost as long for a second course. The staff is very courteous and friendly, but the service takes a long time, even for truly express cuisine. The ingredients are high-quality, but the portions are extremely small, disguised in a gourmet-style plating, which is reflected in the pricey bill. I wouldn't recommend it.

28/09/2025: Truly a splendid location, discovered by chance while strolling around. The exterior was already captivating, but the interior was a real surprise: a warm and welcoming environment, thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, including the restrooms. The service was very friendly, especially considering that we requested vegan and vegetarian options, and we were more than satisfied even with dishes off the menu. The dishes were very good, as was the recommended wine. I found no discrepancies in the final bill: a cheese board, a first course, two appetizers, a bean salad, water, two glasses of wine, and a coffee for €75, literally a stone's throw from the historic center. Recommended!
