A place from times gone by, don't expect a 5 star, I ate some really good pici cacio e pepe and lots of them... quality/price like in few places...... recommended

If you want to eat something good, prepared properly, then go there... There you will find Massimo Meridio Decimo who will cheer up your evening and within the walls you will read many sayings and signatures of the various diners who have eaten in this paradise of taste. The Roma flag is on everything, but this absolutely does not affect the imagination that this shop offers with a continuous smile. Thank you for existing 😜. Great Massimo 🤟

The restaurant is located just outside of Arezzo and presents itself as a tavern in all respects.
Only the place itself deserves to be experienced, accompanied by a wonderful welcome from the owners who made us feel at home by pampering us with kindness and delicious food.
Everything was delicious: from the appetizer with croutons and cold cuts, the pans of cheese and pepper pasta and pasta alla gricia, and the meat was also very good.
I really appreciated the coffee at the end of dinner, served with the mocha at the table.
I highly recommend booking in advance, especially if there are many of you, as the place is not very large.

Tipica osteria con piatti buonissimi ed abbondanti. Abbiamo mangiato piaci alla gricia, frittura mista di coniglio, cervello e fiori. Crostini per antipasto e clan Rucci per dessert. Tutto per 4 persone…ma eravamo in 2 LOL

In tanti me lo avevano segnalata, alla fine l'ho provata.
Sicuramente questa osteria è da definire un "esperienza", ci si và proprio per quello che é.
Ambiente rustico, arredamento molto raffazzonato, pareti coperte di scritte, pulizia borderline.
Il menù è legato alla giornata e si compone di piatti della tradizione.
Alla fine la cena non è stata male, ottime le paste alla gricia, ma niente che ricorderò a lungo.
Dato tutto il contesto, c'era qualche euro di troppo sul conto.
Bho... 3 stelle e non di più.

And what can I say... a step back in time, a warm but not intrusive welcome, a unique location and... mind-blowing food and super portions.
The pici all'aglione are wonderful, the cold cuts with croutons are amazing.
And if you want coffee here they bring you the mocha, not the coffee made with pods.
And we return safely to Massimo.
Please, if you are not able to appreciate the shop/food/hospitality... go further and avoid writing "fancy" reviews!

A tavern like few that survive. Never change!
Few stories, here the main dishes are offal: liver, brains and fried rabbit, tripe. One better than the other.
The cacio e pepe and the cured meats and cheese in the appetizers (crostini!!!) are also good.
The tavern consists of two rooms with walls full of dedications to the restaurant, the food, the wine, the owners and the local team.
But what won over everything was the splendid kindness, the sincere one, of those who served us.
3 starters, 1 first course, 1 second course and 3 tastings (i.e. 3 more second courses...), liter of wine, water, cantucci and vin santo, coffee: 75 euros (25 per person, the considerations are up to you).
In short, go there with your eyes closed if you want to taste a bit of Arezzo, don't go there if you are looking for gourmet delicacies.

Very particular place, it feels like eating in an old cellar set up as a restaurant and... never eaten so well and with a homely atmosphere where you feel like you're at home. Thank you
