06/08/2025: Sitting in the garden on the backside of the restaurant, being served by an amazing staff that was very accomodating yet relaxed in a familliar way and feeling the heat radiating off of the garden walls the atmosphere was truly great. The presentation was great and the food delicious. I’m very happy about my experience, it was well worth the walk from the city centre. I went solo but I would have liked to share this experience with a partner or family member.

16/07/2025: A super interesting discovery... A lovely, cozy little place... Very kind, professional, and knowledgeable... Top-quality ingredients prepared with care and imagination... Interesting and unique wine list... Great guys... I live next door and I didn't know there was such an excellent gem... Highly recommended... P.S. Get away from the chaos of Florence!!!

19/09/2025: I happened to be in the area, the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere modern and the food good quality but I recommend making their own desserts, no bindi given the excellent pizzas

14/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant in the center of Capoliveri, yet away from the crowds. A truly excellent experience, excellent food, excellent service from the staff, including impeccably cleaned fish. Highly recommended, and we'll be back in the future.

07/09/2025: La Soprana is somewhat hidden away on a side street, but it's definitely worth the search. An extremely friendly and dedicated waiter serves exceptional delicacies, whether it's Mare, Terra, or Dolce. We'll be back, that's for sure.

14/09/2025: I ordered french fries and margarita pizza, the fries were raw, not cooked properly, I didn't like it and they used too much watery tomato sauce on the pizza, overall I didn't like it.

12/09/2025: We were staying in a hotel near this restaurant and one evening we stumbled upon it. It was a really great discovery as we went back there another evening. The atmosphere is super friendly and the dishes are really good. We tried the tomato/mozza salad; the pasta, risotto and gnocchi: it was excellent with attractive prices! Don't change a thing 🤩

02/09/2025: I went for dinner and the meat was good. The service was ok.

22/08/2025: I had pizza and a dessert made with Fiumalbo brittle, both excellent. The service was more than good, and we ate outside. Positive experience.

28/09/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. It's not at all touristy, there are only a few dishes, but everything is delicious! The owner is very attentive to his customers. Definitely worth a try!

20/09/2025: Great food and not a tourist trap!

05/10/2025: Our first Argentinean dinner. We had meat empanadas (excellent, well-spiced, and homemade), grilled offal, and two grilled cuts of meat accompanied by baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. The quality of the meat was excellent, flavorful, and well-cooked, as were the flavorful vegetables. The meat prices were fair for Florence and the portion, but the vegetables at €8 were really high for the amount served. The wine list was well-stocked, with a selection of reasonably priced Argentine wines. I recommend the Saurus we ordered (so called because it was grown on the same vineyard where they found the remains of the world's largest dinosaur, now on display in New York!). The bathroom was spacious and clean. The owners were friendly, approachable, and full of personality. Service was a bit slow, but not a problem when you're in the company of a good glass of wine.

14/10/2025: I had a wonderful evening! The atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant. Excellent service and a truly pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the dishes and the menu is something you'll remember for days to come. The dishes are beautiful to look at, the ingredients are excellent, and the menu offers a wide variety! Definitely a place that makes you want to return.

13/08/2025: The food is nothing special, and you won't need to come back. Service and ambiance were good.

28/06/2025: Simple and genuine gastronomy-rosticceria, with a good quality-price ratio. The seafood couscous, fried couscous and octopus salad are really excellent. Must try!

24/06/2025: I came here years ago and I liked it, I went back now that the prices have gone up and I realized that it doesn't make much sense anymore, because it's very chaotic, the waiters run around like crazy (rightly so) and the atmosphere is anything but relaxed, you spend a little less than a normal fish restaurant, the portions aren't that big and the place is what it is. The food is good but almost 60 euros for 2 gnocchi, a fried food, half a bottle of wine and a small plate of vegetables in my opinion is excessive for the type of place.

16/09/2025: We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our first trip to Sienna, and we knew we had to make a separate trip to Sienna a few day later for more of his pasta. Freshly made pasta cooked in balanced sauces to a perfect al dente right in front of you. We ordered one pasta to be shared between our two young children, and he even offered to cooked slightly more pasta for the kids without extra charge. The price of 7 euro per pasta is unbeatable. This is hands down the best pasta we've had in Tuscany and our Italy trip so far!

03/08/2025: Booked 2 nights at Relais Le Macine di Stigliano with very short notice. It is only 20 minutes drive away from Siena, in a pretty and quiet location. The rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied (not always the case with Italian places). Staff was great, was super helpful when asking for tips and recommendations about restaurants and what to see. Very recommended!

29/08/2025: This place was recommended to us by friends who live nearby, and it didn't disappoint. The set lunch menu offers plenty of choices, the food is good, and the staff is friendly.

28/08/2025: A gem in Lucca, we went there the first time on the advice of our host and although the exterior didn't look like much, the atmosphere is super warm, the service exceptional, you feel like a family restaurant with the daughter, the uncle, the mother and it's so precious. We enjoyed it so much that during our one-week stay we went there 3 times! My dad ate the best pork chop of his life (and he's not so young anymore, he's eaten chops), the Florentine escalope and the meatballs are also delicious. The dishes are so well served that we almost have room for dessert while their Catalan cream is really too good (and I didn't try it but my grandmother loved the tiramisu!) the prices are very affordable for exemplary quality! The big plus after the meal is that they have a butcher shop (which has been there for three generations). We took the opportunity to buy some delicious Parma ham, which they even vacuum-packed for us to take back to France. I recommend it 200%.

09/09/2025: A place worth coming to. The tasting menu is delicious and filling, the atmosphere is refined and welcoming, and the service is excellent, very kind and friendly. The price is obviously higher than average, but it's worth it.

07/09/2025: Beyond paradise is Azzighe! An intimate yet convivial place! Friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Elegant, curious, thoughtful, balanced dishes, with spot-on pairings. Refined wines! Excellent value! Nothing left to chance, nothing banal! Simply sublime!!! I didn't take any photos because I was so enthralled by looking at and savoring those works of art that I forgot my phone in my bag! An experience worth repeating over and over again!
