22/05/2026: Fantastic place, exquisite food, and impeccable service.
The two of us ordered two appetizers (crispy pulled pork spheres and beef tartare) that were incredible and meticulously prepared, two excellent main courses (beef cheek and boneless ribs), and two delicate cream puffs made with top-quality ingredients. Their bread and pastries rounded out the entrees. An unforgettable experience.
19/05/2026: Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. Our waitress was very kind and the food was perfect. Every single dish was expertly crafted and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

05/06/2026: We stopped here by chance while on a Vespa tour. It was a truly positive experience. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the prices were fair, and the food was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend it.

The food was perfect. Especially the fish dishes, cooked to perfection!
The service was excellent; they even prepared a special meal for our child that wasn't on the menu. 5 stars!
The ambiance was also simply lovely.
I highly recommend it to everyone.
29/05/2026: The restaurant is very small but cozy. The portions are medium-sized. What we originally wanted was not available and required a pre-order. What we chose instead turned out to be just a simple fried beer snack for an unreasonable price. However, the staff were very kind and friendly.

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!
02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

05/06/2026: My partner, her mother and I came to Florence and found this little gem. We've been to Italy multiple times and can happily say this is our favourite restaurant by far.
The food is all homemade from home grown, local ingredients, and so full of flavour.
The waiters and waitresses are all so lovely and attentive, and are a real credit to the restaurant too!
Then you have the lovely indoor and outdoor setting, you have to see for yourself.
We just had to come back a second time before our visit to Florence came to an end.
Thank you to the owners and staff for running this lovely place and making our experience an unforgettable one. We will remember you.

04/06/2026: It was almost empty when we arrived; there were five of us, and I was really the only one who enjoyed it because the pizzas aren't thin-crust, they're a bit thicker, and the others didn't like them that way. But since I did, I thought it was great. We also ordered chickpea soup, which was very good, and some grilled zucchini, which is really cheap, but there were only six slices, so in the end it was expensive.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.
