17/08/2025: Poor quality food. Conversano is very beautiful, but the outdoor seating is incredibly uncomfortable! The seats are so cramped you can't move, so crowded you can't even talk. I won't be returning!

20/07/2025: I don't know what it was, but I was on a trip, I got off the highway to come and eat at your place, because the website said OPEN, guess what...closed, but how much does it cost to update the website?!?! So much the better, we had lunch at another place next door.

Tempistiche molto approssimative a meno che il pane non vi serva come dessert a fine serata. Attendo il conto e vedremo, CINZIA É LA COSA MIGLIORE DEL LOCALE

08/06/2025: Ho provato ad ordinare delle pizze d'asporto ma chiedendo prima il loro prezzo, il personale è stato molto scortese, con tono nervoso,mi ha invitato di non fargli perdere tempo.
24/05/2025: Consigliati da amici ci siamo recati in questo ristorante. Il cameriere che ci ha seguiti era di una simpatia sicura, tipica di chi questo mestiere lo fa da anni. Cibo squisito, e il pesce sicuramente di buona qualità (e lo dico da amante del pesce). Nonostante mia figlia scorrazzasse per tutto il locale il personale si è mostrato sempre professionale e cortese, soprattutto le ragazze. Valutazione positiva

14/06/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped in Polignano. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were delighted with the lunch! The fried fish was incredibly fresh and the quantity was excellent! Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly, I highly recommend it. The price was average.
11/04/2025: We wanted to eat sea urchin, but there was none, but they ordered it within an hour. Everything is fresh, they do their best to get the guest with good feeling. In the small shop, you can choose from the counter, and they take it to the restaurant, where it is baked right there as you wish. I highly recommend it!

16/08/2025: Our choice was unfortunate, the welcome was so-so. I asked if there was a table for three, and he smiled and turned away. After a while, he let us sit. We were outside, and it was brutally hot. We then realized we were under a huge air conditioning engine that was blowing out hot air like dragon's breath. I wanted spaghetti with clams, but even though they had clam games on the menu, he politely told me it wasn't possible, although I don't understand what the problem was. So we opted for spaghetti with mussels in pepper sauce and mullet bottarga for two, and a tagliolini with lobster. The spaghetti tasted neither of pepper sauce nor bottarga, and if you're hungry, it was like 35 grams. Maybe they'd run out of spaghetti. Anyway, if we want to be gourmet, let's at least put a tablecloth.

22/02/2025: We go in with some friends for 10 minutes of refreshment, terrible experience. They bring us a still frozen pasticciotto and after I point it out to them they heat it up but bring it back already nibbled. The spritz similar to a fruit juice, the dirty bathroom (among other things for a fee - €1). And we paid in advance too. In the end this “great coffee” isn't that great after all. Not recommended.

17/08/2025: I went on August 15th. Besides the terrible service, the food was horrendous—the first courses were inedible, the tagliatelle were tasteless, the risotto was basically overcooked boiled rice with only one scampi in it. Not to mention the fried food was rubbery and dark in color, so the oil was completely used up. The wait was an average of an hour per course. The owner should do some soul searching, especially considering the €50 we paid. Wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy.
04/08/2025: An evening with 17 guests, the helpfulness of the waiters was appreciated, and I think the owner, too. Everything else was almost forgettable. Various appetizers served: - potatoes, rice, mussels, and kcozz = a distant, bland relative of the dish - sea bream carpaccio (I think) = cod flavor, despite the marinade - beans, mussels, and potatoes = good - tagliatelle al Barolo, tough and drowned in cream, despite that, you could taste the acidic aftertaste of the sauce and the frozen porcini mushrooms (the version without cream didn't fare any better) - seafood risotto, tough, drowned in garlic, 90% creamed with the ready-made broth, and the quality of the seafood... inedible. - mussels with pepper, at least they were cooked, but before doing so, they should be cleaned properly and the byssus should be removed. - fried seafood, a little too dark in color, rings difficult to cut even with a knife. Needless to say, most of the dishes were left untasted and unfinished... See you never again, thanks

05/06/2025: Posto molto accogliente. Banco della macelleria dove si sceglie la carne strepitoso. Ottimi lgi antipasti e buonissime le patate cotte sotto la cenere. Carne tutta di buona qualità la bavetta assai saporita. Prezzi in linea con quanto mangiato e servizio cordiale e puntuale.
28/01/2025: Scortesia dei proprietari che su nostra gentile richiesta di ricontrollare se avessero trovato un portafoglio dopo la nostra visita, si sono dimostrati scocciati e poco disponibili. Qualità del servizio e dei piatti mediocre. Purtroppo una brutta esperienza, a volte l’ ospitalità migliorerebbe l’ esperienza complessiva del cliente, ma in questo posto non esiste.

AL GRAN BAR "BINARIO 24"

24/07/2025: An absurd and embarrassing experience. I attended an event at this restaurant and was shocked, not only by the quality of the food, but especially by the owner's attitude. At the buffet, I found some mortadella sandwiches that looked truly disturbing: grayish, yellowish, and looked old. I pointed this out to the owner, who, instead of taking my feedback seriously, replied, "It's been out in the sun." So I said, "Yes, but how long? A week?" And he said, "Before you speak, turn on your brain. You're not in the business anyway." At that point, he even decided to do an "experiment" by putting a slice of mortadella in the sun to demonstrate that it goes bad after an hour. Indeed, it darkens. But I replied, "Great, then you shouldn't put it out in the sun!" And he said, "I don't have any shade here!" And I said, "Then don't serve the mortadella." You don't have to be a chef to understand that this makes a terrible impression. I had just approached the buffet (five minutes after it was set) and the mortadella was already in that state. How can I think it's the sun's fault? (Anyway, even if it were the sun's fault... I didn't eat it and never would have. Looking like that, I wouldn't even have fed it to my dog!!!) Like me, other guests noticed it too. And I find it unacceptable to be treated rudely just for pointing out a real problem. Honestly, I've eaten mortadella many times at buffets, but I've never seen a slice look like this in less than half an hour. Maybe it was the poorest quality ever? Those round, small, sad ones... As if that weren't enough, while I was trying to talk about it in a civil manner, the owner turned to all the other guests and said loudly, in a provocative tone: "How's the food? Is it disgusting?? He says everything sucks!" Creating a climate of intense general embarrassment. Then the lunch only made things worse: a cold fish appetizer, with meaningless fruit and jellies. Flavorless, presentation confusing. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Not just because of the food, but because of the total lack of professionalism and respect for customers. Not recommended in every way.
18/07/2025: Premetto che la serata in cui ho visitato il locale era dedicata a un evento, quindi è possibile che alcune piccole disorganizzazioni siano state dovute proprio a quello. Sono stata a Binario 24 per assistere a uno spettacolo e cenare nel loro giardino, che è davvero bello e curato: l’atmosfera è piacevole e rilassante, perfetta per l’estate. Purtroppo, però, dal tavolo dove ero seduta la visuale era coperta da alcuni cespugli, quindi per vedere lo spettacolo ho dovuto alzarmi. Nel frattempo è arrivata la mia pizza – molto buona – ma, essendo in piedi, si è raffreddata prima che potessi mangiarla. Un vero peccato. Aggiungo anche che, proprio nel punto del giardino dove ero in piedi, c’erano delle prolunghe scoperte, forse per l’allestimento tecnico dello spettacolo: dettaglio che meriterebbe più attenzione, anche solo per sicurezza. Il personale è giovane, gentile e volenteroso, ma un po’ disorganizzato: quando chiedi un cameriere, ti rimandano a qualcun altro con un generico “ti mando il ragazzo”, e l’attesa si allunga. I prezzi sono leggermente sopra la media, ma in linea con la location. Nel complesso, spero sia stata solo una serata un po’ caotica a causa dello spettacolo, perché il locale ha potenziale e mi piacerebbe tornare in un contesto più tranquillo.
