I had left a review for Monday lunch, obviously very good for the staff who were present in the restaurant, but returned today, truly a very different environment, completely absent and rude staff, I don't know but in a business everyone should work in the same way, I hope it was just a patch due to the lack of staff found on Monday... obviously I don't question the quality of the food which was excellent.

We couldn't leave our review. We were on holiday from May 18th to May 24th and we spent our quick lunches at fcazz e birr. Fantastic staff. 2 fabulous, cheerful and fun girls attentive to every need. We returned on Saturday for lunch because we wanted to say goodbye to them before leaving and thank them, but unfortunately we didn't find the same staff. With great regret, however, everything was excellent and delicious. We will definitely see you again, and if you read this, we'll say goodbye here and thank you for everything.

This is situated beside the famous bridge. The focaccia was delicious and the interior small but clean and a welcome refuge from the afternoon heat. Staff very friendly.

Incredible value for money. 5 euros for an Aperol and 2 euros for a beer. The focaccia with burrata, pistachio, and tomato was amazing.

As a lover of spritz and focaccia from Bari, I'm a regular, but recently, on Thursdays and Fridays, I found a new staff member who won me over! Two kind, helpful, and attentive girls who bring the place to life. I highly recommend it! The focaccia and spritz are top-notch.

The charm of Polignano a Mare is already sensational in itself, if you then add the extreme courtesy and friendliness as well as dynamism and overwhelming enthusiasm of the staff (Miky)... then this place is the best place to take that break that restores you completely... a Campari spritz and I toast to you Fcazz and Birr!! .. preferably made and served by Miky 😊

I've been to Fcazz e Birr in Polignano several times, and I always stop by every time I'm in town because it's the perfect place to grab a quick bite without wasting time. The place is casual, very lively, and typical of Apulian street food. There are only a few tables outside, so it can be difficult to find a seat, especially during busy periods like summer, but the atmosphere remains pleasant and lively.
The real highlight is undoubtedly the focaccia barese: the dough is soft, slightly crunchy on the outside, and soft and fragrant on the inside, with that authentic flavor of Apulian extra virgin olive oil that instantly makes your mouth water. It's filled with fresh, simple yet flavorful ingredients, and every bite gives you that typical local specialty experience, perfect with a cold beer or while strolling through Polignano's alleys.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to serve you quickly and with a smile. Waiting times are never long, even when the place is crowded, and the service manages the high influx of customers well, without making anyone feel neglected.
The prices are reasonable, fair for the quality offered, and absolutely affordable: you can enjoy an excellent panzerotto or focaccia and a beer without spending too much.
In short, Fcazz e Birr is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy authentic focaccia from Bari in a casual, quick, and friendly way, perfect for a snack, a break during a stroll, or a summer evening in Polignano. I will definitely return every time I pass by and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Apulian street food experience.
