03/11/2025: We were there on November 1st, 2025. Due to the holiday, many places, including this one, were closed. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot give a review of the food and service, but we found the grounds absolutely beautiful.
20/07/2025: The food was good, but the service wasn't.
The wine and water were brought to the table long before the main course, and the rest of the drinks arrived after the appetizers, after several requests. Since not everyone drinks wine, the guests settled for water. A real shame, because the location and food were excellent.

03/04/2026: After a long ride, we arrived at this service station at 11:30 PM to grab a drink and a bite to eat, but there was nothing to eat, just croissants.
The person behind the counter said there was nothing available at this time of night... Congratulations!

P.S., the Nutella roulade is truly exceptional.

07/06/2026: An experience I'll definitely repeat. Fresh fish is showcased in dishes prepared with care and attention. The wait staff is friendly, helpful, and knows how to pamper guests, a reflection of the owner, who never leaves the room to see her satisfied and smiling guests leave.
06/06/2026: An unparalleled organization, disarmingly kind waitresses and waiters, excellent fried food, and, of course, "superlative pizza."
The hostess, Valeria, daughter of an artist, as they say, good blood doesn't lie.

24/11/2025: Nice and small place, almost a street food in the center of Altamura, in front of the cathedral, they make very good and stuffed sandwiches and piadinas, an extensive menu will help you in your choice, the only thing I didn't like was the uncomfortable seating, on the other hand for the space at their disposal they did their best but there could be improvement

11/06/2026: We ate here twice, a group of three, for dinner. The ambiance was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly and humorous. The food was excellent; the second time, we were recommended the fresh dragonfish, and we're so glad we took their advice. Both times, we were offered a complimentary limoncello. We'd love to come back. Thank you all!

08/05/2026: Terrible bar, extremely rude staff.
My sister and I go into the bar, have a coffee, and then ask to use the bathroom (politely, I should point out).
The bar lady starts by saying, "1.20 coffee for two uses of the bathroom," huffing.
They should learn to treat customers decently; I'll never set foot in there again.

08/04/2026: Yes, it's typical. If you haven't eaten anything or you've already had quite a few beers, it's fine. They taste like nothing but oil and salt. I really like traditional, typical street food, but you could spend 3 euros better, or just go with 20 people so everyone can have half a Sgagliozze.
06/04/2026: Don't waste your time at this place. The polenta is the worst I've ever tasted. Awful. I don't know why anyone recommends this place.

25/02/2026: Really interesting pizzas, new and with a wide variety of options (suitable for all palates).
The outside location is a bit cold (even though they had "mushrooms" and "couvertures").
The service is a bit slow; we waited over an hour just for appetizers.
Overall, though, it's a place we'll return to.

18/05/2026: I had been wanting to try the russ for a while, everyone was raving about the meat and they were right... there were two of us plus a little pest... we had a fillet which, as Gaetano says, is like a burr... both veal and horse sausage were delicious, a hamburger, a bombetta, two skewers of meat and the nghmred and a chip plus drinks and we paid 65 euros with a final gift of "tomorrow, feed it to the little girl" in short, a new favorite place we will go to when we take our walks in Bari... and for those who comment negatively on the prices, well, maybe you evidently never go to the butcher's to do the shopping... see you next time

06/05/2026: If I could give 0 stars I would, really poor pizza with sauce diluted with water and low quality, they don't use mozzarella they look like morsels, the mass looks like a cracker
03/05/2026: We came on holiday from Padua, we stopped to eat at this place that was nothing short of fantastic, we tried the first courses, obviously the typical orecchiette with turnip tops were delicious, the portions are very generous, the aperitif was very well made, but above all the owner and the staff are absolutely friendly and cordial, we had a lot of fun and left with a big smile, highly recommended and we will definitely be back
