26/10/2025: We were in the area for work on Sunday and they welcomed us with class and kindness and we ate on trust because we hadn't ordered anything, one dish better than the other but above all a greeting to the waitress who remained in my heart 💓

04/01/2026: I have been a customer for over 7 years, every time I come on holiday, I go to this fishmonger where the staff, including Ms. Pina and Ms. Jurga, are very kind, impeccable and empathetic. Excellent fish quality. The gastronomy, excellent!.... I highly recommend!!!

07/01/2026: I was there with my family on Epiphany Day, and I can say it was a wonderful day in every way. The staff was incredibly kind, starting with the owner, who would even serve extra dishes on his own initiative, chatting with the guests and exchanging jokes. From the appetizers to the first course and the second course, everything was succulent, finishing with fruit, dessert, coffee, and liqueur. I'll be back next time.

The pasta here is simply outstanding — honestly the best pasta I’ve had in all of Italy. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic flavor. Highly recommended!

Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — once inside, you’ll find a beautiful, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The entire place has an incredibly charming and authentic feel. The staff was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. We spent nearly two hours here waiting out the rain and felt completely comfortable the entire time. We were able to relax, enjoy our food and drinks, and never felt rushed for even a second. Whether you’re looking for a full lunch or dinner or just a cold drink in a welcoming atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: We had orichiette with sausage and ragu and finished off with hot chocolate, tiramisu and chocolate and coconut tart. Very good food and close to the main streets of Alberoberro.

06/07/2025: The best pizzeria I've ever been to. The pizza is amazing, very good, the quality is EXCELLENT! Very fast and precise service. I go there every Saturday, and I never regret it. I recommend it!

30/07/2025: Location molto carina, nel cuore di un paesino che sicuramente merita una visita. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile, anche molto simpatico! Piatti ben eseguiti e che rispecchiano ricette tradizionali, non è il classico ristorante turistico! Piatti abbondanti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Nient’altro da aggiungere, fateci un salto se volete passare una bella serata e mangiare bene!

20/07/2025: Orribile! Personale incompetente, Cibo di scarsissima qualità con prezzi da stellato. Titolare che inveisce nei confronti dei dipendenti, urlando. Locale sconsigliatissimo, purtroppo non è possibile dare 0 stelle….o stalle.

26/07/2025: For clarity, I'm only reviewing the atmosphere and service, as I only went for a drink. The Spritzes were good, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is really nice for a bar, but perhaps not the best for a group of friends who also want to dine (but that's just my opinion). Recommended for a post-evening outing with friends.

15/02/2026: Friendly staff, we ate very well except for the coffee, which wasn't good, and they don't make it with milk. I recommend not sitting near the entrance, as it was too drafty. We spent very little.

15/02/2026: We waited a very long time. The food we ordered was sold out, and we had to change our order. After 20 minutes, we were informed that the pancakes were out of stock. We ate breakfast, but it wasn't worth the wait.
