27/10/2025: This place is the definition of hospitality. We were so pampered by the staff, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, with spot-on advice on where to choose. The food was high-quality and supremely delicious. My 2-year-old daughter devoured the meatballs with raw vegetable gazpacho and the squid ink pasta. We'll be back very soon ❤️

14/09/2025: Not a proper hotel: This place feels more like a party bar with a pool than a hotel, with no focus on guest comfort. - Bedbugs in the room: Found bedbugs in the bedding, which is completely unacceptable. - Poor communication: Staff barely communicates, no English, denies issues, and offers no apologies. They even suggested the bedbugs came with our luggage. - Noisy environment: Loud music and parties from non-hotel guests continue until 1 a.m., disturbing guests. - Lack of care for guests: Complete disregard for hotel guests’ needs, with staff escalating issues instead of resolving them calmly! - Unprofessional staff behavior: A guest who spent money at the bar was called “crazy” when raising valid concerns, showing terrible customer service. - No taxi assistance: Requested a taxi to the airport at night but got no response or confirmation, forcing us to book an Uber ourselves. - No TV in rooms: Rooms lack basic amenities like a television. - Poor breakfast: Breakfast is limited to just a croissant with jam, which is disappointing. - Noisy train nearby: A loud train constantly passes by, making it hard to relax. - Not worth the price: The overall experience does not justify the cost of the stay.

07/10/2025: It worked great, and I didn't have to wait. Most importantly, it gave me some time to get to grips with the fuel pump. That, too, worked smoothly with my debit card.

22/10/2025: I'm coming into this place for the first time and ordering a takeout pizza. The man at the cash register scratches his head after handling the money and, without washing his hands, picks up my freshly baked pizza and puts it in the box.

30/07/2025: A very simple, old-fashioned takeout pizzeria. Excellent pizzas and very reasonable prices. There's no cover charge, and tables are available, perfect for a quiet evening with friends or family.

15/06/2025: The service was very nice, the pizzas were very tasty and very large, and there was a place to sit. I recommend going a bit further away from the city center to taste real Italian pizza.

03/09/2025: Just been to this shameful pizzeria, to say the least. We enter, they sit us down, bring us menus, and ask us about drinks. Only then does a waiter, who has been intrusive from start to finish, inform us that it's KARAOKE night and that there's a mandatory minimum purchase of €15 per person. We start to grumble, because the Consumer Code requires this to be possible only if CLEARLY communicated to the consumer at the entrance to the establishment. Which, however, isn't indicated in any way or communicated in advance. Coming to the food... the pizza is embarrassing, shoddy, with botched ingredients thrown on top. Let's leave aside the bugs in the bean basket. When it comes to the bill, we MAGICALLY pay only for what we consumed, as stated on the receipt. Places like these need to stop trying to get customers, thinking they're smart, because they might catch someone smart. And then, learn quality, elegance, and craftsmanship from those who know how. Besides, the way they respond to the reviews I see below...says it all.

19/09/2025: The experience started well with the restaurant's location, next to the monastery, very quaint and beautiful. Once inside, we were disappointed. We ordered pizzas, which, as I wrote the next day, caused problems for everyone at the dinner party all night. We were disappointed in both taste and quality. The service also needs improvement; the food and pizza were out of sync, and we didn't eat at the same table. In short, we chose to come here as a fallback, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

26/10/2025: Just inside the historic part of Acquaviva, I highly recommend stopping at Gianfranco. He'll whip up a quick dish of the day straight from the traditional Bari cuisine or an excellent pizza. The portions are generous and the service is always friendly. The spaghetti alla chitarra alla San Giuannid is a real treat.

06/10/2025: This is my second time back at this pizzeria/restaurant. Starting with the welcome, I can say that the staff and owners were very helpful and polite. The staff are not only available but also help you choose the menu or pizza based on your tastes without being intrusive. The two dining rooms can accommodate several potential groups, but it's also excellent for a simple, elegant dinner for a couple or family. I went with my husband and children, and we even had the chance to watch the Juventus/Milan match. My son and I opted for a set menu, while my husband and daughter opted for the first course. Both choices left us speechless because the quality was truly exceptional. I'm sure there will be other evenings spent in this simple, welcoming, and quiet location, just the way I like it. Guys, what can I say? See you soon! And to you who read this, I can only say: try it and believe it, and I'm sure you won't regret it.

22/08/2025: We were becoming loyal customers, but since I discovered a price discrepancy, we won't be returning. I even asked the cashier for information, but she didn't know, so she called her colleague, who also didn't know, and I had to post on IG, where the owner gave me an explanation that seemed meaningless to me. Is the sweet crepe AT LEAST €2.50 cheaper than the savory one? I'm not talking about the ingredients, but the preparation! Let's be clear: the crepe base is exactly the same in both cases. Well, I'm a careful consumer, and I can't stomach this. Goodbye.

05/11/2025: Beautiful place. Good service, the bread is excellent, typical of Puglia, and the seafood and fish platters are excellent and generous.
