The café only employs young female staff.
The service wasn’t bad—the barista was accommodating, but you can’t tell whether she was just playing along or genuinely interested in something serious and lasting!
The price was steep—€2.80 for a bitter ginseng coffee and a brioche—with no glass of water included, which for a place that looks five-star in both price and décor is an unforgivable oversight

22/11/2025: The place is small, definitely better enjoyed on nice days, where you can enjoy the small outdoor square, but it's always worth a visit, even if only for the specialties.
The cartellata al vincolo, with ricotta and pear gelato, and the Sicilian cannoli with pistachio gelato and cannolo-flavored gelato!!! Truly delicious. The cream is exquisite, and the owner and his son are so kind.
We'll be back!

28/01/2026: Yesterday I bought some apple sweets and threw them in the garbage because they were old and the apple was sour. Since it was a bit expensive, I expected a sublime dessert but it was a disappointment.
22/12/2025: Quality bakery and very friendly staff! In my humble opinion, it's definitely among the best focaccias in Bari. Try it and believe it! ☺️

07/03/2026: A very quiet hotel with excellent service.
The rooms are very clean and well-maintained.
Many typical Puglian sights are located nearby, such as the Sassi di Matera and the world-famous Alberobello.
The food here is also excellent. I was given a tour of the kitchen, and it was exceptionally clean, which is quite rare in the restaurant industry.
The staff is courteous and very friendly.
So, if you value a peaceful stay with good food, this is the perfect place.
I would gladly stay at Hotel Murgia again.

06/09/2025: Terrible service, overwhelmed by the number of customers. One waitress takes your order, another serves half of it. Thirty minutes later, the second panini still hasn't arrived. The restaurant is noisy and completely unprofessional. Avoid it!

19/01/2026: Incredible I had lunch yesterday at noon, you can not describe the goodness of the food all excellent cooked at the moment, home cooking the lady who prepares in the morning a lunch for 40 people 7 starters plus 2 seafood, 3 first courses 2 second courses fruit dessert everything 5 stars thank you thank you thank you!!!

25/02/2026: Terrible experience, a 13 euro aperitif of low quality, prepared who knows how and reheated hastily, I left everything, the price is exaggerated.

My friend and I stopped here for something sweet. The table was dirty, covered in crumbs, and the ashtray was full of cigarettes. I asked for a bottle of water to drink at the table, but I couldn't because I didn't have a glass (I'm not used to drinking from a bottle).
More attention needs to be paid to serving customers.

22/11/2025: Excellent value for money. I've been there often with family and friends and have always had a great time. Reservations are essential because it's very popular, and you need to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Service is fast. They also have outdoor seating during the summer. Overall, everything is good. I highly recommend trying it.

A very negative experience.
27/10/2025: This place is the definition of hospitality. We were so pampered by the staff, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, with spot-on advice on where to choose. The food was high-quality and supremely delicious. My 2-year-old daughter devoured the meatballs with raw vegetable gazpacho and the squid ink pasta. We'll be back very soon ❤️
