07/04/2025: Visit to dear friends from Bitonto and meeting at Vinicio. Close to the historic centre, we pass the Baresana gate and along the street, on the right, we find the entrance to the restaurant under the watchful gaze of the Torre Angioina which stands on the left of the road. Upon entering we are greeted kindly and given a table. The restaurant, with its small spaces, immediately appears pleasant. The sensation is that of feeling at ease in a relaxed atmosphere, which works in favor of the place and the diners. The menu is a search for intertwining traditional flavors and national and international contaminations. At the start of the Bao, steamed sandwiches, with pulled pork filling and other innovative ones with parmigiana. Next, an appreciated proposal is certainly the buffalo mozzarella stuffed with courgettes simply placed on a cross of rocket. More elaborate is the Cremoso di Martina, a construction whose base is aubergine cream, on which a crouton of bread, burrata and a cape of capocollo from Martina Franca are placed. A delight on the palate. The "Caesar salad", light and satiating. Among the first courses, the "Sapori d'Oriente", wheat spaghetti, seasonal vegetables, egg, teriyaki, sesame and sprinkling of ginger, are a successful gamble. "Soqquadro", a pasta with pears, gorgonzola and crumbled walnuts, delicate on the palate with its sweet/savory contrast between pears and gorgonzola. A simple intuition that draws from the "not letting people know" of the more peasant tradition of eating cheese with pears. The playful presentation of the dish justifies the name given to the dish. Although the place has a good range of wines, we opted for craft beers, appreciating the qualities expressed in terms of aromas and flavours. The "Sud" from the Baladin Brewery, with its citrus notes and the "Machete" from the Ducato Birrificio, with its strong and aromatic hoppy taste. Overall, the evening left us with an excellent impression.

01/04/2025: The place is beautiful and characteristic but feels cold. I noticed the same thing less than two months later. When I pointed this out I was told that perhaps I feel cold because I wasn't moving compared to the waiters. But what answer is this?!? My girlfriend was wearing the coat the whole time. The food is good although the sauce on the bark potatoes was quite cold, and the meat was also lukewarm. The service of one waiter in particular was terrible, in short he was not attentive in managing the table and the customers' requests. I was very disappointed.

12/09/2024: Aesthetically nice location, but not functional: some tables outside are in the dark, a table lamp would be recommended. Good ice cream with reasonable prices. Unsuitable staff: the flavors are not written on the menu, if I'm not mistaken not even the maximum number of flavors in relation to the size of the cup, I asked for a medium cup with fior di latte, hazelnut and trifle (3 flavors present everywhere) and the lady, angrily, told me "ah so large cup" inviting me, not kindly, to come in and see the flavors as "they have 18" and that the trifle is not there. Lady who showed up at the table 10 minutes after our arrival and after another 5 minutes in which we went inside to ask if we should order inside or if someone was coming outside, they told us to wait outside and so we did. With another person or another management, recommended; with the current management and current staff, no.

06/04/2025: Il cibo era buono, ben presentato e di qualità, ma sinceramente il prezzo ci è sembrato eccessivo per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Esperienza piacevole, ma il rapporto qualità-prezzo lascia un po’ a desiderare.

21/03/2025: Ho provato a fare una prenotazione x cibo da asporto telefonicamente, ma mi hanno risposto che non potevano prendere nota, ma sarei dovuta passare personalmente. Eppure sono stata cliente per tanti anni. Non avevano neanche un bigliettino x prendere l’ordine a disposizione. Il cellulare no? Sono davvero rimasta male.

11/03/2025: Very clean and modern place with friendly staff ready to advise you. The ordering technology is nice and very fast. The panzerotti, both fried (I tried the Mediterranean) and sweet (the Pistacia), are delicious. The baked Padellino is also very good (I chose the Mercury. In terms of location, in my opinion, the distance from the center pays off a bit.....but good....all very good.

26/03/2025: I just had dinner here and I was alone on a business trip. The first thing I noticed was the owner's antipathy, who, when welcoming me, treated me with a condescending air, perhaps because I was alone, I don't know. Antipathy that he confirmed at the cashier, without a smile or an "I'm sorry", even though I had expressed my disappointment to the waiter a few minutes before. Just an expression of condescension without even looking at me. Very different from the table next to me who was eating seafood. The waiter, on the other hand, was kind and friendly. I ordered a rare tagliata with a side of grilled vegetables and I simply received a slice of meat cut into slices. Tough, medium-rare and full of nerves, which I almost finished just because I was hungry because I wanted to go to sleep and not wait for them to replace it with something else. To make a tagliata, which also costs 25 euros, you can't just buy any slice of meat, you should get the sirloin. Tagliata does not mean "I don't feel like cutting my own meat, cut it for me" but rather a certain type of meat is preferred which is definitely not this one. Last but not least, my receipt included a glass of wine that I initially didn't want and that the waiter wanted to offer me. But this is an irrelevant detail compared to the rest. Not to be repeated

22/02/2025: Nice surprise in the heart of Murgia: fresh and artfully prepared fish in an elegant location but with a context that is not excessively formal. Definitely coming back to try other delights. From the appetizer to the dessert, it is truly a journey full of satisfaction. It deserves more prestige, not more customers because there are already plenty of those. There is no shortage of courtesy and availability in the room. Well done.

17/03/2025: The food here is always a guarantee, it consists of very high quality raw materials and above all we often find dishes that are different from the usual, thanks to the imagination of chef Domenico. Special note to the spaghettoni cacio e pepe, they make me dream every time!!!

16/03/2025: Frankly bad food (low level industrial reheated) grumpy and unpleasant waitress. Contrary to what the restaurateur's response states, I pointed out that the lasagna was bad. But he had fun with it. Obviously, lying and contempt for the customer's opinion are also specialties.
