18/08/2024: We had the opportunity to have lunch in this reception room on the occasion of Ferragosto. It was the first time we were there, convinced by the excellent reviews we read...We can't help but confirm these reviews: the lunch was excellent and plentiful from the first to the last course, a family atmosphere, with kind and helpful waiters. ..The well-kept room and the good music as a backdrop to everything A truly great discovery, we would happily return!

28/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo piccolo posto dopo un giretto a Monopoli. Da fuori non si direbbe, ma mangiarci ne vale veramente la pena. La signora che ci ha accolto, vedendoci con 3 figli, ha chiesto cortesemente a dei signori seduti all'ombra e che avevano quasi finito se poteva spostarli in un posto più verso il sole per farci accomodare. Poi è stata molto gentile a consigliare ai bambini cosa prendere. Io e mia moglie abbiamo preso un tagliere misto (enorme) che presentava molti prodotti tipici, da salumi a formaggi, il tutto accompagnato dalla puccia pugliese. Il conto più che accettabile. BRAVISSIMI

04/08/2024: Chiedere alla gente del posto non si sbaglia mai! Ci hanno fatto conoscere il sig.Rocco che con la sua riservatezza, pacatezza e tranquillità ci ha fatto degustare delle vere prelibatezze ad un costo moderato considerato la qualità dei prodotti.

04/08/2024: Nous avions réservé 2 jours avant pour une table extérieure à 20h. Le Jour J, nous arrivons avec 5 minutes de retard et plus aucune table extérieure n'est disponible. Seulement 2 tables de 2 à l'extérieur sont mis en place. Le patron va vérifier la réservation, s'excuse et nous propose une table à l'intérieur, pile dans le passage du restaurant. Evidemment, nous refusons. Le propriétaire nous propose de revenir dans 30 minutes. Les deux tables de 2 venaient d'être occupées. Personne ne finit son repas en 30 minutes. Ce restaurant n'a rien a faire des clients puisque Monopoli est une ville de passage, pour touristes qui ne resteront pas de toute manière dans la ville. Ce n'est pas une raison pour ne pas être professionnel.

23/07/2024: What about a restaurant reported by the Michelin Guide. It speaks for itself. You just have to book, sit down and order... THE RAW FISH. Gilardot oysters, king langoustines, prawns, and ladies and gentlemen...his majesty the sea urchins. Never eaten raw fish like this. The scampi were delicious and gigantic, the oysters very fresh...but the sea urchins....my lords, the sea urchins...a spectacle for the palate. Accompanied by Altamura breadcrumbs, they are a perfect combination for the palate. And then we had many other things including tuna tartare, seared tuna, bruschetta and much more that I can't remember now. Chilled Salento white wine and...a nice 100-odd euros per person and at home. But you want to put quality! If you want quality you have to pay otherwise buy the fish and stay at home.🤣

20/08/2024: Highly recommended!! Quality raw materials prepared with original reinterpretations without weighing down or distorting the dishes. Excellent service with added value from the owner who welcomes guests by explaining dishes and wines with competence and professionalism... We will be back!!!

19/08/2024: Service was partly very nice, partly overwhelmed. Something was always missing and had to be reordered. The food was okay if you added some seasoning, but not the vegan main course! It was ice cold and very tasteless. Cold vegetables, but very nicely presented. Rather outrageous for 12 euros. Without the vegan main course I would give the meal 3-4 stars.

13/08/2024: An impeccable dinner. Everything perfect. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff is truly amazing and now a rare commodity; incredible knowledge of the raw materials and wines offered. We drank an organic wine perfectly in line with our expectations. Really perfect octopus tentacle and cod flan. Excellent chop and duck breast. Equally amazing desserts. A highly recommended restaurant. 10 and praise.

11/08/2024: my wife and i have a lovely dinner here with wonderful food, excellent service and a staff member picking local wines to try which did not disappoint. Always good when eateries promote local wines and produce. we shared zucchini flower entree along with poached scallops with mushrooms in coconut cream. the scallop dish was exceptional . My wife settled for a beef brasciola as her mains and I went for the stuffed squid main. Again both were delicious and sadly we couldn’t even think of squeezing in a dessert. thankyou to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

15/07/2024: Polite and always attentive staff, clean and well-organised location, we ate various types of meat but the cut really surprised us, however the bombette and zampina were excellent. The Conte was also €80 below expectations with three adults and a little girl still coming out really full. Highly recommended

12/07/2024: TOP in tutto … difficilmente troverete una braceria così bella e organizzata come questa … la carne è spettacolare, cotta con una maestria incredibile.. che poi la differenza stà in questo .. una cena perfetta e il servizio ottimo… se ci mettete una chiacchierata col proprietario diventa una serata indimenticabile… 👏👏👏👏👏

31/07/2024: They were very kind because we arrived a few minutes before the kitchen closed and they waited for us. 2 first courses, 1 cut, water and dessert 40 euros. For the quality of the food and presentation of the dishes, we would have expected to pay a lot more! The staff is courteous and the service fast.

08/08/2024: I knew about this place thanks to the influencer Baffetto Food, and a few days ago, having to choose where to have a quick and tasty dinner near the sea with a couple of friends, the first place that came to mind was Gemavvi! What can I say other than that the quality of the food is very high, that both the baguettes and the flatbreads are generously stuffed, that the service is excellent (smiles and availability to go go) and the location, despite the wind that evening, welcoming and clean ! And the veal meatballs with pistachio cream? indescribable! The baked potatoes are also excellent, one leads to another! Recommended, indeed highly recommended, especially for small groups (3/4 people max).

27/07/2024: Questo posto è formidabile per perdersi letteralmente in un mix di sapori esaltanti e squisiti per ogni palato …. Il tutto reso piacevole da uno staff simpatico, accogliente e professionale …. Un pranzo da ripetere tante altre volte !!!
