09/07/2025: A small place, barely accommodating 10 people, half of whom eat at a counter facing the wall...the kitchen is on the other side of the table. The various dishes, mostly pasta but also salads, bruschetta, and tartare of Fassona beef, are freshly prepared, excellent, and plentiful. The service is very informal but still friendly and welcoming; during peak hours, there may be a wait. It's not exactly cheap, but every now and then a decent plate of pasta is worth it. Recommended.

04/08/2025: The wedding cake and reception they created for our wedding were simply perfect! The cake was not only beautiful, but also delicious. A special thank you to Paolo and his team for their professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to accommodate our every request. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

31/07/2025: We decided to contact the Pitti pastry shop a little discouraged because no one could understand what cake we wanted for our wedding. Well, Paolo immediately understood our every desire and created the cake of our dreams. The cake was delicious and we really made a great impression, a professional with a capital "P", as well as a delightful person. I highly recommend him to everyone.

23/07/2025: This might have been one of my favorite Italian meals of all time. The photos don’t do it justice. First off, I had the mind blowing arugula salad. Never have I ever had cut arugula, for some reason this changed my life in more ways than one. For the pastas, the three of us shared three different pastas. I ordered the daily special which was a mushroom, and then we have the ravioli two different ways. To top it all off we had the tiramisu for dessert. The waiter was so nice and friendly, also super funny. He was entertaining all of the guests with his bravado voice and welcome speech. I thoroughly enjoyed his energy as a waiter. The pastas were so fresh, and SO GOOD. If I didn’t have food coma from the gluten I would have ordered a fourth one. Not to be missed !! Truly a gem and super authentic cooking.

22/07/2025: The staff was very helpful with both the choice of meat and the wine to accompany it. There are many different types of meat to choose from, as is the wine list. There were four of us and we followed the waiter's recommendations, which did not disappoint. We ordered 1 kg of Piedmontese beef and 1 kg of choco, paired with Barbera d'Asti and d'Alba wines.

22/07/2025: An absolute gem in the grilling industry. The selection of meats is top-notch, the wine list is adequate, and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Only the ambiance is very basic, but that's perhaps what sets it apart. The food is on par with much more prestigious steakhouses, but with a price difference of about 30%, in some cases, perhaps even more. I will definitely return and, above all, I will recommend it. Well done! In the photo, a Rubia Galliega, not easy to find elsewhere.

20/07/2025: I go there for lunch during the week and they offer a menu for workers and they also have an à la carte menu but the food changes little, excellent, very efficient and polite staff, I also went there on Sundays, I repeat, excellent.

14/07/2025: I went for an anniversary and couldn't have asked for anything better. Soft lighting, impeccable service, and dishes that tell a story. Well-selected wines and desserts to die for. Ideal for those looking for something more than just a dinner out.

05/08/2025: Beautiful location overlooking the valley. The menu wasn't à la carte, but they brought everything from appetizers to dessert. Everything was delicious, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff was very friendly. I saw they also offered the option of buying items at the counter; we'll definitely try that next time. The price was more than fair.

They welcomed us with warmth, offering us simple but delicious dishes: Piedmontese appetizer, strascinati with basil pesto, delicate braised meat with good harmony. 17/07/2025: Exquisite food and superb, friendly service from the owners. A place that makes you feel right at home. Some of the best and most original pasta we've tried in all of Turin.

26/06/2025: The pasta (carbonara) is super salty even without the cheese. The worse carbonara I ever had... Restaurant (café to be precised) overrated for sure. I can't understand where the 4.6 stars come from. Atmosphere is homey and service is ok, however, a service charge was taken for 2€50 (without notice, just saw on the receipt ) in this small café in which considered overcharged, even more than a proper decent restaurant (2€). Beverage was comparatively pricey than other restaurants as well. 1 pasta (13.9€) + bottle of ice tea from supermarket (4.1€) + charge (2.5€) At the end = 20.5€ For sure you can have better choice in the neighborhood. 💡 Response to owner 💡 Being arrogant & agressive won't improve your cooking skills, MANY comments of 1-2 stars also stating that your food is poor or carbonara is too salty (well, I'm not the only one). Maybe you can cook well sometimes....by luck, but not always! Moreover, I'm comparing the cover charge with other restaurants (dining 40-50€ per head with 2€ charge and real restaurants that not like a small cafe shop). And it's true , even McDonald's has more stable level of food not like yours. You may consider to check your taste buds with doctor before continuing cooking for others.

27/07/2025: Treat yourself to this experience; it's absolutely worth it! We're at a vegan restaurant that offers amazing plant-based cuisine that rivals even the best omnivorous restaurants around. My fiancé and I chose a six-course tasting menu, and I also chose the matching wine pairings, and we couldn't have made a better choice. It was a magical and unforgettable evening thanks to the excellent service provided by the staff, who expertly looked after and guided us throughout the experience. Yes, it's a true experience, not just a simple dinner. An honorable mention, for this, goes to the cuisine. Let yourself be amazed and moved by every dish; we were ecstatic and moved with every bite. I once again congratulate the entire staff for the attention, care, commitment, research, and passion they put into this restaurant. I can't wait to come back to you, accompanied again, to finally change even the most skeptical about plant-based cuisine.

28/06/2025: The best zabaglione I have ever eaten is here, the same quality for over 30 years! The mixed Piedmontese antipasto is also excellent. This time I did not have the braised beef in Barolo because of the heat, but the place has an excellent internal temperature. Always a pleasure to return to Saletta!

23/06/2025: Dai Saletta is a typical Piedmontese restaurant located in the elegant and quiet streets of the historic center of Turin, in Via Belfiore, 37. A CORNER OF AUTHENTIC PIEDMONTESE TRADITION: DAI SALETTA, IN THE HEART OF TURIN As soon as you cross the threshold, you are welcomed by a warm and familiar atmosphere, where dark wood and rustic details create a simple environment but full of personality. The staff, always courteous and prepared, makes you feel immediately at home. The real protagonist, however, is the menu. During my visits I had the pleasure of tasting dishes that tell the story of the area: from grandmother's agnolotti with braised meat sauce, to the tender and fragrant braised meat in Barolo, to the desserts that taste like pampering from times gone by, such as zabaglione cream with torcetti di Lanzo or Gianduja ice cream, a tribute to the famous Turin chocolate. 17/07/2025: Best dining experience of my trip! I was a solo diner who spoke no Italian but the server went out of their way to kindly explain every single dish to me in English. Food was amazing. Will definitely come back if back in Torino :)

This little street food spot is absolutely worth seeking out, trying, and I might even add "waiting for"—if the tables are full—because every minute of waiting will be rewarded with the pleasure of taste and the senses!
