A perfect Sunday lunch from start to finish. The "light" mixed fried fish was not at all greasy. Special mention for the veal with tuna sauce, which was special.

28/10/2025: I had the pleasure of staying at the Romantic Hotel Forno, and the experience was truly exceptional. The property is enchanting, with elegant rooms and a romantic atmosphere. The staff, especially the owner Alex, was incredibly kind and helpful, and provided a magical welcome. Furthermore, the hotel organized unforgettable excursions, including visits to the Mole Antonelliana, the Egyptian Museum, the Royal Palace of Venaria, the Basilica of Superga, where the historic Torino Calcio air crash occurred, and access to the famous Mandria stadium in Turin. To round things off, we enjoyed a sublime dinner featuring porcini mushrooms and Alba white truffles, a true explosion of flavors. A perfect stay for those seeking relaxation, culture, and gastronomy!

18/11/2025: I had dinner with my son at this place, which I can barely call a restaurant because it's more welcoming, familiar, pleasant, and authentic than your average place to eat. It's a small, intimate space where a few diners are welcomed warmly and in a genuine, family atmosphere, allowing them to fully experience the history and history of plin and tajarin. Furthermore, the space is inspiring and artistically decorated. Excellent food, wine, and service. Worth a try.

15/11/2025: Not a huge place, but definitely full of character. The agnolotti are exquisite, as are the meats, and the entrees are original and delicious. The zabaglione is amazing. The service was simply perfect: welcoming, precise, and attentive. Excellent!

09/11/2025: Yesterday I called at 8.40pm to order 8 pizzas and 2 farinatas, in the call they told me that they were ready at 9.45pm, at 9.46pm I left the pizzeria with all the pizzas.... they are not pizza chefs, they are war machines designed to split the seconds... obviously I will go back

We order the trio of appetizers, plus a shared Russian salad: all the flavors are clear and right; the freshest tomino cheese and the perfect green sauce; the cooking technique for the vitello tonnato modernizes the value of tradition, maintaining its evident quality, which begins with the raw ingredients. This adherence to tradition does not deprive us of pleasant surprises with the appearance of unexpected aromas, expertly and meticulously scattered on the serving plates, perhaps the fragrance of a tiny lavender flower... We continue with the Scialatielli with sardines and wild fennel (and everything else you need): sumptuous, with a rich sauce that preserves the intensity of the fish's flavor, the sweet and spicy interplay is perfectly balanced. We finish with the Baked Pumpkin, comforting and tasty. We drank a well-balanced Barbera, chosen from the bulk wine selection. The prices were more than fair, and the service was punctual and attentive. An experience that combines the full pleasure of an evening with the joy of knowing, in a challenging context like Barriera, brilliant businesses like this one exist, where the awareness of know-how can overcome any challenge. 09/11/2025: Bagnacauda, ​​only anchovies, no garlic, mostly salty and inedible. The chef was rude, the kitchen was very dirty. He had the nerve to charge me extra for asking for two extra cardoons and the extra coffee. Total: two bagnacauda with vegetables, terrible quality, €71...highly not recommended. There are many Piedmontese restaurants where you eat a hundred times better at much more honest prices, and I'm not one to skimp on food. If I complain and you respond as the owner, I'll be happy with a half-smile after having robbed me for two poorly prepared dishes. You're rude, impolite, and incapable of dealing with customers. If the anchovies were sweetened with milk, I wouldn't still be drinking water at 8:00 PM. It's pathetic. Then again, I still have to figure out how we got to €71 from two bagnacauda menus with water, wine, coffee, and service charge. Thief and unintelligent, you steal today, you stay home tomorrow...good luck, you'll need it.

07/09/2025: A small hotel/restaurant decorated with great care. Excellent service. You can tell it's a family business. A lot of heart and soul goes into it. And it's very affordable. We'd be happy to come back if we're in the area again.

You can see their professionalism and expertise; when they serve you a "pizza al portafoglio" (wallet pizza), they wait for it to reach the right temperature before folding it. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and despite everything, their prices are competitive, as if they hadn't been affected by inflation. In conclusion, the best pizzeria in Turin!

I had the veal with tuna sauce and fassona beef, delicious gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese, a glass of wine, a liter of water, and a slice of truly delicious chocolate and pear cake. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. I highly recommend it.
