09/09/2025: The pizza is definitely good, but we ordered one, and he got 2 out of 6 wrong... Recapping it, we realized one was wrong, and he asked us for money for the "additional charge"... Shocked, we went home and discovered another was wrong, too. Okay, maybe another time, but for a €50 pizza, it seems embarrassing to ask for €1.

06/10/2025: In Turin, honestly, I would have expected much more. A restaurant that claims to be fine dining should offer carefully prepared dishes and recognizable flavors, but unfortunately, the experience here was quite different. Overall, the dishes are bland, even in taste: lacking in energy, character, and a general feeling of "dated" but executed without passion. The mushroom tart, for example, could have been a pleasant autumn dish, but it's reduced to a bland preparation with a simple dash of mushroom flavor that doesn't live up to the promise of its name. The ravioli del plin, then, are completely off the mark: large, thick, with a flavorless, indistinct filling. Nothing in common with Piedmontese tradition, neither in form nor in taste. Even more disappointing is the wine list—or rather, the difficulty in navigating a selection that, while extensive, doesn't seem carefully crafted. In Turin, where excellent winemaking is a household name, one expects much greater attention and expertise in the selection. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was courteous but distant, the ambience lacking any particular distinction, and above all, the cuisine left no desire to return. A shame, it completely lacks substance. This restaurant needs to thoroughly rethink its approach if it truly wants to stand out in a city like Turin, where competition is high and the average level is decidedly superior.

07/10/2025: We went to the pizzeria after the game. We're not locals and didn't know it was closing time. We asked if we could eat and they sat us down anyway. We weren't expecting such a good pizza. But above all, the owner turned out to be an extraordinary, kind and friendly person. When we return to Turin, we will definitely come back to visit you again!!!

Every detail—from the 1955 counter to the furnishings that speak to the times—creates a warm, sincere, yet elegant atmosphere. The service is attentive and discreet, the wine list is extensive and expertly curated, with labels capable of accompanying every emotion on the menu. Da Baffo is more than just a restaurant: it is a story of hospitality, flavor, and passion that continues to be written every day, dish after dish. 23/10/2025: The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts us at ease. We order the trio of appetizers, plus a shared Russian salad: all the flavors are clear and right; the freshest tomino cheese and the perfect green sauce; the cooking technique for the vitello tonnato modernizes the value of tradition, maintaining its evident quality, which begins with the raw ingredients. This adherence to tradition doesn't prevent pleasant surprises from appearing with unexpected aromas, expertly and meticulously scattered on the serving plates, perhaps the fragrance of a tiny lavender flower... We continue with the Scialatielli with sardines and wild fennel (and everything else you need): sumptuous, with a rich sauce that preserves the intensity of the fish's flavor, the sweet and spicy interplay is perfectly balanced. We finish with the Baked Pumpkin, comforting and tasty. We drank a well-balanced Barbera, chosen from the bulk wine selection. The prices were more than fair, and the service was punctual and attentive. An experience that combines the full pleasure of an evening with the joy of knowing, in a challenging context like Barriera, brilliant businesses like this one exist, where the awareness of know-how can overcome any challenge. Thank you for the excellent cuisine and best wishes for the future!

05/10/2025: Very small but cozy place. The plin pasta is delicious, and so is the meat! The zabaglione is recommended, but in my opinion the desserts could be improved. The entire staff is attentive and very kind.

03/10/2025: We went to Plin e Tajarin today and will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was informal, quiet, and pleasant. The food was delicious, accompanied by stories of life in the olden days. Recommended!

16/09/2025: I recently took my wife there for our anniversary, and oh my, what a find! The outdoor seating is excellent, truly tastefully decorated. The staff is truly lovely!

12/10/2025: A unique experience! 5 adults plus a child, we ate from appetizers to dessert with two bottles of fine red wine! We recommend the cheese course, the stuffed onion, the rabbit, the plin pasta in roast sauce, cheek (if available), and the duck leg! Gentlemen, it's a 5/5, you can't go wrong. The owner and the table service were friendly and approachable! Loving people. A quiet place (reservations required) to which we wish the best.

05/10/2025: Excellent location: charming, quiet, and peaceful. Convenient parking not far from the restaurant. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing detailed explanations of the dishes. The mixed appetizer and trio of tartare dishes were excellent: balanced in portions and flavors. The plinth and duck were very tasty as main courses. Finish with a trio of desserts: each carefully prepared and full of character. Not cheap, but worth it (€60 per person for an appetizer, one main course, a glass of wine, water and dessert to share, and coffee).

03/10/2025: A wonderful discovery in Avigliana. Nestled in the historic city center, this is a restaurant where every detail is meticulously crafted. The exposed brick walls, the tables made of irregular wooden planks, the intimate dining room, combined with the silence and tranquility, make this restaurant an ideal spot for a romantic dinner. The manager proved to be very knowledgeable about the food and wine selections, and by following his recommendations, you certainly won't miss the opportunity to sample delicacies like, in my case, the Drubiaglio onion. The food portions were decent, cooked just right, and the meat was tender. The Nebbiolo they served us was also very good (although it was served by the glass). Special mention goes to the desserts, which were very good and refined, and the liqueurs. The price, slightly higher than that of regular restaurants, takes into account the service, the ambiance, the change of cutlery after each course, and the cloth rather than paper napkins. Special mention goes to the manager, who is kind and competent. Recommended experience, which I will definitely repeat.

31/08/2025: A little gem nestled in the Alps overlooking a lovely lake. The chalet is family-run, and you'll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Romina and Monica work tirelessly to ensure their guests are always happy. I've never seen so much attention and affection. Our room was small but had a truly beautiful terrace. There's no air conditioning, but despite the early August heat, it was incredibly cool. There are no mosquitoes, so sleeping with the balcony open and the curtains closed was enough. The cool breeze does the rest. The small lake is lovely, and the walk is truly pleasant. We decided to have dinner at the hotel, and we were right. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked by Monica! Romina is truly a force of nature, exuding joy and enthusiasm. Breakfast was also excellent, with several of Monica's homemade cakes and biscuits. We stayed here for two nights, albeit separately. It was the first stop on our trip to Great Britain and the last. We had a wonderful time and would be delighted to return again. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: We're delighted to return to the Chalet. The staff is exceptional, like being part of the family. Everything is perfect: the rooms are welcoming and spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and caters to any dietary needs, and the surrounding area is fabulous! We'll be back as soon as we can.
