26/04/2026: Fabulous!!
I've rarely eaten so well. We ate outside in the garden, which is actually the same as the castle's, only separated by a low fence. They offered us the tasting menu, with excellent appetizers: the veal with tuna sauce was delicious, the flan was exquisite, with or without bagna cauda, and then a toma from a local producer, exceptional, with an equally delicious sauce. The first course was paglia e fieno (strawberry and hay) topped with toma from the same producer as the appetizer, as was the butter, with sage and nettles; a truly exquisite pasta. For the second course, a roast beef with potatoes, a meat that melted in your mouth. For dessert, a zabaglione with hazelnut cake, also delicious!!
The price was more than fair, without wine (I don't drink), €32 per person. Simona and the chef are truly sweet and pleasant! We'll be back!!
01/04/2026: I had lunch at the inn on Sunday, March 29, while passing through on my way to Siena.
Magnificent place, excellent food; I really enjoyed the pappardella with Cinta ragù and the guanciale.
The price was reasonable for the quality of the ingredients served.
