OM Osteria Moderna In Alba

A fantastic place to dine! If there were more stars i wouldn’t hesitate to give them all the stars of the sky! Excellent service, excellent food, amazing people! I found the place by accident, walking on the beautiful streets of Alba.The owner is an old timer with a very good real Italian style that reminds me of the good Fellini movies, it’s the guy you want to be your friend, the head waiter is a very good looking guy with a great personality, good English and he loves his important job that if you are a person that appreciates the service that you can get when you want to have a good time.This restaurant comes out of another reality that we have forgotten.The people that they enjoy to do the job right, the people that make your time and your money worth! Giuseppe very well knows how to make you feel good and he will please you! Don’t miss it, go there, you are going to have a great time with great food and most important GREAT PEOPLE!

A great restaurant, 5 stars are not enough, great service, small changes to the dishes possible at no extra charge, a nice and tasty greeting from the kitchen in advance. All in all, highly recommended!!! Many thanks to the kitchen

Esperienza fantastica! Menu molto intrigante con fusione Piemonte e Oriente; ottima qualità dei prodotti e cura particolare del servizio. Molto graditi amouse bouche e pasticceria di accompagnamento al caffè. Ampia scelta di vini e rapporto qualità/prezzo complessivo molto buono! Consigliato! Ci ritorneremo.

Classy restaurant all good thank you

L’Osteria moderna si trova non poco lontano dal centro di Alba, davanti allo sferisterio Mermet, il “Maracanà delle Langhe”. L’osteria è moderna nel nome ma contemporanea nell’arredamento e nell’idea di cucina che propone: piatti della tradizione piemontese accanto a sperimentazioni e incursioni nella cucina asiatica. L’esperimento è riuscito: ho assaggiato uno “schrimp&chips” con un gambero freschissimo e dei guizza con capesante e gamberi davvero niente male. Servizio attento e cordiale, avrei soltanto un suggerimento: accostare nel menú una minima descrizione del dolce o almeno dei suoi componenti, i nomi dei dolci sono sì intriganti ma risultano davvero poco chiari

If I could, I would give 10 stars...Location, attention to detail, wine list, refined menu, delicious entries (not asked for), a unique explosion of flavours. An indescribable culinary journey.

Small but nice place with a slightly different cuisine than usual

Saturday lunch during the truffle fair, menu with only truffle-based dishes. Possibility of having a fixed price or à la carte menu. Everything was excellent, the portions were right, the chef's welcome was memorable. Cozy place, spent the right amount in relation to the menu and the impeccable service.
