21/05/2026: Visited during a weekday lunch for work. It's a luxury restaurant, not a trattoria. Trattoria should mean a place with simple, informal dishes. Perhaps with a set lunch menu. Here, however, it's a true gourmet restaurant with small portions and still high prices for the area. Obviously, I went over the company budget, even though I ordered only one dish that wasn't satisfying. Not recommended for those who, like me, thought the name trattoria reflected the Italian context of the term itself.

21/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience. Besides the divine food, we were struck by the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They offered us focaccia and a delicious spinach and goat's milk gorgonzola appetizer, free of charge, and they were so good we wanted seconds (haha). Even the small desserts they made were simply wonderful, carefully prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is gorgeous, welcoming and relaxing, one of those places where you feel good as soon as you enter. A special thanks also to the young waitress, very polite, very well-mannered and truly professional. You can sense the passion, quality, and attention to detail. 24/05/2026: Plin e Tajarin in Turin: where cooking is fun and food becomes emotion There are places that aren't simply restaurants, but true "places to be," and Plin e Tajarin in Turin is exactly that. It's a unique, intimate, and welcoming place, seating just 16. The reason for this limited number is clear as soon as you enter: here, cooking is synonymous with the joy of good food, made of authentic and exciting flavors; the owner, Mr. Mario, deeply enjoys what he does, and this is conveyed through every detail of the restaurant. For its quality and experience, it deserves a Michelin star, but perhaps that would almost be an insult to a restaurant like this, which cares nothing for labels and ceremony, but only for providing genuine emotions. Since there were four of us, we made a strategic choice that allowed us to truly sample the entire cuisine: we each ordered one menu, specifically two "Plin e Tajarin Forever" menus and two dedicated to "Nostre Carni Crude" (Our Raw Meats). The first courses are handmade with a mastery and precision worthy of those childhood memories of your mother that Mr. Mario recounts to you right at the table. The expertly selected meats are prepared with immense love, so much so that they're even served in the shape of a heart. But Mr. Mario's true greatness and professionalism are seen in the little things. Even though our menus featured odd-numbered dishes, he managed the service impeccably, ensuring that dishes were always delivered to each guest. His attention to customer service is extraordinary, putting many high-end restaurants that don't manage their tables so professionally to shame. We loved the "slow cooking" concept. The dishes arrived with perfect timing, because the goal here isn't to eat at a fast food restaurant, but to live an experience, taking the right amount of time to enjoy it. It was a wonderful lunch, and now we're just waiting for the kind gift he promised: the plin booklet! Thanks for everything, Mario, see you soon, and keep up the good work!

24/05/2026: A place unlike any other... A friend's living room where you're welcomed and pampered with attention. Seating is definitely limited, so the evening remains intimate and you can chat in a normal tone of voice without leaving with a headache, as happens in too many places these days. The cuisine is artisanal and meticulously prepared. The decor is very, very personal. Thank you for the wonderful evening and all the attention you received!

19/05/2026: A stunning location, offering an enviable lake view, both from the outdoor terrace and the interior with floor-to-ceiling windows. The simple furnishings perfectly complement the lakeside setting, and the high-quality lake and farm ingredients are prepared with a touch of flair, without being overdone. The service is courteous and unobtrusive. The only thing that could be improved: the wait is a bit long, but on Sunday lunchtime the place is packed. A place to keep in your diary.

11/05/2026: A pleasant discovery. Excellent, carefully prepared dishes, attentive service. We asked to share an appetizer between two, and it was served in two beautifully presented half portions. The bread was warm and good quality. We particularly enjoyed the menu and the dessert selection, including the truly impressive cocoa and porcini mushroom cookies. We spent €65 for two: cover charge, water, an appetizer, two first courses, and two desserts. Recommended.

15/05/2026: Whenever I pass through Biella, the vitello tonnato at Osteria Due Cuori is a must, not a choice. I sincerely believe theirs is the best I've ever eaten... and I fear I've developed a sort of gastronomic addiction. A welcoming atmosphere, a wine list for all tastes, and meticulously prepared cuisine: it's the kind of place that makes you want to return before you've even left the door. Last time, in addition to the inevitable veal, I tried the Maccagno risotto, the pork fillet with breadsticks, and the tiramisu. Congratulations indeed!
