08/10/2025: Overall, the dinner was good, the service was courteous, and the atmosphere was nice, although there was a bit of a smell coming from the kitchen.

06/10/2025: In Turin, honestly, I would have expected much more. A restaurant that claims to be fine dining should offer carefully prepared dishes and recognizable flavors, but unfortunately, the experience here was quite different. Overall, the dishes are bland, even in taste: lacking in energy, character, and a general feeling of "dated" but executed without passion. The mushroom tart, for example, could have been a pleasant autumn dish, but it's reduced to a bland preparation with a simple dash of mushroom flavor that doesn't live up to the promise of its name. The ravioli del plin, then, are completely off the mark: large, thick, with a flavorless, indistinct filling. Nothing in common with Piedmontese tradition, neither in form nor in taste. Even more disappointing is the wine list—or rather, the difficulty in navigating a selection that, while extensive, doesn't seem carefully crafted. In Turin, where excellent winemaking is a household name, one expects much greater attention and expertise in the selection. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was courteous but distant, the ambience lacking any particular distinction, and above all, the cuisine left no desire to return. A shame, it completely lacks substance. This restaurant needs to thoroughly rethink its approach if it truly wants to stand out in a city like Turin, where competition is high and the average level is decidedly superior.

I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay. From the moment you arrive, you sense the atmosphere of a place where every detail has been carefully considered. The rooms are impeccable, spotlessly clean, and welcoming, and the same goes for the entire property, including the spa. Speaking of the spa, the service is nothing short of exceptional, a true blessing after a day spent outdoors. The staff deserves a special mention: they are all extremely kind and willing to satisfy every need with a smile. The culinary experience is equally outstanding; breakfast is plentiful and high-quality, with a wide selection of products to start the day off right. In short, Albergo della Pace is a true gem nestled in the province of Cuneo, a place that combines impeccable service and cleanliness with an atmosphere of absolute tranquility. An experience that I will definitely continue to repeat!!!

07/10/2025: A charming restaurant/shop near Domodossola, where you're immediately struck by a vast and carefully curated selection of wines and spirits, the hallmarks of the restaurant's atmosphere. You can order several bottles, with a wide selection of local and Italian wines, as well as wines by the glass, served with a pump system to prevent oxidation of the remaining wine in the bottle. The cuisine is very good, with simple yet well-prepared and beautifully presented ingredients; the main courses are pleasantly generous. The desserts are unique and excellent. The bill is a bit high, reasonable for the main courses and a bit high for the appetizers and first courses; I would avoid the €2.50-€3 cover charge. I would have offered a couple of extra amaros on a bill of over €500 that included the purchase of a large bottle of whisky. You can also purchase local cheeses, jams, and other products. For those who want to treat themselves every now and then, this is an excellent place that is worth a visit for both the food and the good drinks.

03/10/2025: Currently there’s no sign for the restaurant so appears it doesn’t exist and/or not open. Feels like a true local spot… trust me one of you be brave and go to the door up the short flight of stairs off the main road & you won’t be disappointed! Lovely service even if a language barrier sometimes, great selection of wine and yummy fresh food, recommend if you’re in the area :)

The owner met all our needs, the place is beautiful; we had a room all to ourselves, so the kids could access a veranda with toys in addition to those brought into the dining room. The food is superb, plentiful, and high-quality... Even the waiters 🔝 What can I say... Everything was perfect!!!

14/10/2025: We had dinner for our wedding anniversary. The dinner was perfect, the location is simply stunning, it feels like being in the 1920s. The atmosphere is very welcoming, comfortable, and well-kept. It's truly incredible. The food is truly excellent, and above all, the service is impeccable. The staff is very kind, helpful, and above all, very knowledgeable in the engaging descriptions of all the dishes and wines. It's truly a dream place that's hard to find nowadays. Definitely a must-go! Oh, and thank you for the sweet and unexpected surprise for our anniversary.

You'll leave feeling like you're leaving a friend's house, one you want to return to as soon as possible. I recommend staying longer and using it as a base for exploring the Langhe. 12/10/2025: Today we had lunch here and were welcomed by the kind and knowledgeable Lorenzo. The atmosphere was very beautiful and unique. The dishes were prepared with great care using quality ingredients! The chef was excellent, the waiters were kind, prepared, welcoming, and ready to satisfy our requests, and extremely affable. Excellent value for money! Exceptional even for celiacs! The tagliatelle (I'm celiac) were cooked just right, they didn't break, which is not easy at all! Recommended! We will definitely be back! We felt at home enjoying excellent delicacies.

The service is attentive and discreet, the wine list is extensive and expertly curated, with labels capable of accompanying every emotion on the menu. Da Baffo is more than just a restaurant: it is a story of hospitality, flavor, and passion that continues to be written every day, dish after dish. A place that embodies the essence of contemporary Turin cuisine.

23/10/2025: The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts us at ease. We order the trio of appetizers, plus a shared Russian salad: all the flavors are clear and right; the freshest tomino cheese and the perfect green sauce; the cooking technique for the vitello tonnato modernizes the value of tradition, maintaining its evident quality, which begins with the raw ingredients. This adherence to tradition doesn't prevent pleasant surprises from appearing with unexpected aromas, expertly and meticulously scattered on the serving plates, perhaps the fragrance of a tiny lavender flower... We continue with the Scialatielli with sardines and wild fennel (and everything else you need): sumptuous, with a rich sauce that preserves the intensity of the fish's flavor, the sweet and spicy interplay is perfectly balanced. We finish with the Baked Pumpkin, comforting and tasty. We drank a well-balanced Barbera, chosen from the bulk wine selection. The prices were more than fair, and the service was punctual and attentive. An experience that combines the full pleasure of an evening with the joy of knowing, in a challenging context like Barriera, brilliant businesses like this one exist, where the awareness of know-how can overcome any challenge. 05/10/2025: I'd heard very positive reviews, and indeed, I can only leave a glowing review! First of all, the intimate atmosphere and the fact that everyone eats the same menu creates a magical, almost homey atmosphere; nevertheless, the service remains excellent, always attentive, kind, and discreet. Not knowing what you'll eat is a real advantage for me; there's no problem choosing, and it adds that touch of curiosity that makes you appreciate the food even more. The quality of the dishes is superb, with a focus on seasonal ingredients, and if I'm not mistaken, I've also read that they use many locally sourced ingredients. As a final treat, the coffee served from a large moka pot brings back a bygone ritual, reminding us that life should be savored slowly. My compliments for the passion you convey, and we'll definitely see you again!
