Osteria Due Cuori In Biella

Whenever I pass through Biella, the vitello tonnato at Osteria Due Cuori is a must, not a choice. I sincerely believe theirs is the best I've ever eaten... and I fear I've developed a sort of gastronomic addiction. A welcoming atmosphere, a wine list for all tastes, and meticulously prepared cuisine: it's the kind of place that makes you want to return before you've even left the door. Last time, in addition to the inevitable veal, I tried the Maccagno risotto, the pork fillet with breadsticks, and the tiramisu. Congratulations indeed!

Today we celebrated more than one family birthday and we had a great time! 😍 Thank you so much for your kindness and attention to detail. Everything was delicious 😋 😋 😋. We'll definitely be back ❤️

A wonderful Sunday lunch with friends. A welcoming and well-kept place, with friendly staff who are attentive to every request. Excellent food, traditional dishes reworked with a more refined twist. I'll definitely be back.

A True Local Gem in the Heart of Piazzo ❤️ Located in Piazzo, the beautifully preserved medieval upper town of Biella, Osteria Due Cuori sits under the historic arcades, perfectly in tune with its surroundings. Piazzo itself is a charming, timeless area, full of history and atmosphere, and well worth the visit on its own. The osteria is a quaint, cozy spot, run with great care by a young man and his aunt; la Zia. Both are extremely friendly, efficient, and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. I started with a very good Negroni, followed by il nostro vitello tonnato con caramello al limone — excellent, with a lovely balance of flavors. For the main course, I had the Tagliata “Marchisio” alla piastra (approx. 300g) with oven-roasted potatoes, exactly as expected: perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Worth noting: I was there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. It’s not a large restaurant, but the fact that I was the only tourist says a lot… this is clearly a place with a strong local following and an excellent reputation among Biella residents. A wonderful experience and definitely one to be repeated.

One of Biella's best restaurants, located in the charming setting of Biella Piazzo. Two appetizers, a risotto for two, a vegan pudding, a bottle of wine, two coffees, and water for €81, which with the discount from our partner B&B became €73. Delicate flavors, just the right portions, perhaps even a bit too generous for the risotto. Attentive and professional service in a simple, family-friendly atmosphere. A romantic setting with soft lighting. I recommend it!

Had the best time at Due Cuori! The restaurant is family run which you immediately notice in the homey atmosphere and incredibly sweet and attentive staff. The food was really delicious and there were so many nice things on the menu it was hard to pick. Would definitely recommend anyone in Biella to visit! If I’m ever in the area again I will surely come again.
