10/02/2026: Informal trattoria serving business lunches, with daily specials, traditional dishes, and an à la carte menu. The clientele is primarily workers and locals. The food is good, standard, and the service is quick (orders are brought by staff in a hurry). The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, a bit noisy but clean.

09/01/2026: An experience that falls squarely in the limbo of mediocrity. The food isn't bad, but it's not memorable either: it does its job without ever wowing you. It's a fine lunch stop on the highway, when you're very hungry and your expectations are prudently low. But beware of the price, which seems friendly and reassuring on the menu, only to reveal itself less innocently when it comes to the bill. Set menus can be a trap: if you don't specify every single choice with extreme precision, you risk paying too much for quality that doesn't justify the outlay. For celiacs, for celiacs... beware: if you have celiacs, avoid this place. The selection is limited, and the few options available are truly worthless. A final, almost mystical twist: the agnoli were good, surprisingly good, like a mistake in the general script. Dessert, however, brings everyone back down to earth: €5 per person, just enough time to reflect on your choices while staring at your empty plate.

08/01/2026: Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. I'd say, at least in our case, the room needs some renovation and attention. The heating didn't work, the shower was broken, and the toilet seat was barely attached on one side. The cleanliness was excellent, but the breakfast really needs more attention. By the second day, there was nothing left at 9:00 AM. There were excellent reviews, but perhaps our timing was completely wrong.

21/11/2025: One of the best places to stay in the area. Super helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable rooms (we booked a 5-person apartment). Completely immersed in nature, it's connected to Peschiera by several walking trails. Very relaxing, perfect for families with children.

25/01/2026: Exceptional pizza Exceptional, unfortunately, we arrived at 9 pm but were served at 10 pm. I was served at 10:30 pm. Too many people. Not organized, but I repeat, a stratospheric pizza.

28/12/2025: Vegetarian allert: Ordered a veg risotto, received a risotto with pieces of pork meat inside. Reason: the cook used "by mistake" a "contaminated" tool. Ok, no problem, it happens, we will prepare you a new one! Great, thanks! After 10 minutes received the "new" risotto just to find out that the cook replaced the plate, put the same risotto before and served it back to me. Disgusting and unprofessional. Never again in this restaurant!

29/12/2025: You are welcomed by a singular ‘landscape’, a bit kitsch, but really cute in its own way. On a positive note: a structure like this is difficult to keep in order, dust and cobwebs are lurking, but here everything is very clean! As soon as you sit down, small welcome flutes are brought, which is appreciated, but teetotalers are not taken into account. The fish dishes are excellent. Another positive note: some dishes are modified based on the availability of fresh and quality products, a noteworthy attention. Really good wood-fired pizzas. A bit scarce vegetarian options and practically no vegan ones. The service is pleasant, the staff kind and helpful, not intrusive. Prices proportionate to the quality of the dishes and the quantity of the portions which are always very abundant. Highly recommended are the spaghetti allo scoglio and the panciotti!

09/11/2025: Exceptional place. The food is very good and above all you won't leave hungry. All the staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices are fair.

29/09/2025: Found by chance on a Sunday outing, it was a real experience. Everything was meticulously prepared and excellently cooked. The fish was top-notch. An experience we'll repeat very soon.

07/09/2025: Excellent location surrounded by the countryside, few seats so a nice quiet and intimate place, impeccable service, excellent food, even the wine brought to the table already opened (I recommend opening it at the table and having them try it) is good, however there is no menu so the prices of either the wine or the courses are unknown. Recommended for special occasions.

06/12/2025: Refined and sophisticated cuisine, excellent dishes, in a welcoming atmosphere. I'd say it was a super experience.

25/10/2025: A dinner to forget! The tasting menu was almost completely cancelled. A disappointment. Sorry, the food was terrible.

05/02/2026: Near the stadium, we find this pub/restaurant for true Mantua fans. The atmosphere is casual and incredibly welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening with friends or family. You'll immediately feel at home. The cuisine is truly excellent, with well-prepared and flavorful traditional Mantua dishes. But the real highlight for me was the gratin: a dish I could eat morning, afternoon, and evening without getting tired of! Truly irresistible! The quality-price ratio is also excellent, and the service is friendly. Highly recommended if you're in Mantua and want to eat well in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.

01/02/2026: Pumpkin and sausage macaroni: unfortunately drowned in cream... If instead of drowning in cream, they had been in pumpkin cream, it would have been a superb dish. Thus, the cream dominates and overpowers the flavors. Tortelli & Fried Food: I would have preferred to have them plain with butter and sage, as that would have masked the tortello's deliciousness a bit, but overall, an excellent dish. Coffee: solid coffee grounds, a sign of a coffee machine that hasn't been kept clean.

12/03/2026: Very slow but still friendly service. Nice location. Small portions, and if you order the €12 menu, there's no quarter of wine included, unlike other business lunches, and the quality of the ingredients is basic.

11/03/2026: Stopped in for a set lunch. The selection of dishes was good, and the quality of the ingredients was good. The price was in line with expectations. The service was courteous and helpful.

16/12/2025: As always, a confirmation! The room is very spacious and well-maintained, clean, the service excellent, and in my opinion the highlight of my entire stay was the delicious breakfast. I will definitely be back.

05/01/2026: The place is nice and the food is decent. However, we ordered macaroni with stew and an "alternative margherita" pizza. For the latter, I first asked if the dough was soft enough and not crunchy. When the waitress said so, I confirmed my choice, but the flatbread arrived dry, twenty minutes after my mom's macaroni arrived. When I called, the waiter, Patty, was kind enough to immediately exchange it for a rare steak... which arrived an hour later and was cooked medium/well. I should point out that the fault is absolutely not the waiter's, but the first waitress who took our pizza order and the person managing the kitchen. At least they only charged us for the two fries and the macaroni. Conclusion? Total wait time was endless and unjustified. First and last time.

27/12/2025: Nice place, we happened upon it by chance in Milan, the waiter is top, my children love it

20/02/2026: I wanted to try several risottos, from the one with catfish to the one with frogs, and finally the one with saltarei. Unfortunately, unlike other times, the risottos weren't top-notch because the rice was a bit overcooked for all three. The appetizer of cured meats and fried gnocco was good, and the desserts were also decent. All in all, the prices quoted this time are those quoted.

18/02/2026: I recently returned after 6 months and the quality is always excellent. Recommended!! Last night, karaoke was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, the atmosphere was fun and festive, the waitresses were friendly and always smiling. The food was special and delicious.

08/12/2025: Nice welcoming place in a welcoming village, appetizer of cured meats and fresh cheeses, very good tortellini in broth, not like I make it, I'm from Emilia, made with a different filling but not for this bad, on the contrary good... kind, smiling and fast
