05/06/2025: This place is always wonderful. Great food and very friendly atmosphere in a family style setting. I've been coming here since the early 1990's when I was stationed at a nearby military base and go there every time I'm visiting the area.

19/07/2025: I happened upon it for lunch and chose the €15 business menu. The eggplant pasta was soggy and looked more like pasta and lentils than pasta. For my main course, I chose roast veal and was presented with three slices of the kind you find in supermarkets like AIA. It said "new management." If they don't change the chef, they'll struggle.

19/07/2025: Very good and plentiful food, delicious homemade giardiniera that reminded me of my mother's cooking. The chef is young, but very talented!!

02/05/2025: Il luogo è incastonato nella bella campagna mantovana; l'edificio è rimasto com'era quando il compagno della Titolare se n'è andato: più vivo che mai nel suo ricordo sarebbe orgoglioso dell'eccellente realtà che Lei cura e dirige. Il servizio è attento e rapido, la gentilezza lo permea. Che dire del cibo? Due rami del menù... di terra e d'acqua ( dolce e salata). La tradizione viene esaltata dalle cotture sempre puntuali e da ricette collaudate e di successo. Non vorrei sembrare di parte.... ammiro la Titolare non meno della Corte che la supporta ma sedersi qui e come essere a casa propria con uno chef personale in cucina. I prezzi? I più bassi ipotizzabili per la qualità che offre. Buon appetito.

25/04/2025: Arriviamo certo non per caso! in questo sperduto ma bellissimo posto, veramente incredibile la moltitudine di oggetti ben conservati. Pulizia ai massimi livelli, cordiale accoglienza, con personale attento e cortese + certi riguardi per nulla scontati. Pranzato a base di pesce: ottimo antipasto misto, imperdibile, così come il branzino al cartoccio. Buono il fritto misto. Consigliato senza alcun dubbio.

03/08/2025: Historic pizzeria and restaurant, and it shows in the decor. The pizza is very thin, crispy, and expensive. If you're very hungry, it won't be enough. Rating: 6. You pay €2.50 for a cover charge, even though you only have a cloth napkin and a rubber placemat on the table. A good deal, seating over 200 people! The price is expensive overall. Not rated as a restaurant quality.

30/07/2025: It's my first time there, and I'll definitely be back with other people, because I had a great time. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the staff was friendly.

17/07/2025: The owner is rude, the prices are exorbitant, the food isn't as good as it was a few years ago. The pizza is dry, and for those who are above average, there's very little leftovers.

28/05/2025: After a long day on the bike we happened to have dinner at the Cioè restaurant. First the kindness and willingness to accommodate us even though the place was full, then they served us quickly and always friendly. I recommend the pumpkin tortelli to everyone, special.

18/08/2025: Everything has already been perfectly described in one review here, but if it's exactly what I'm looking for, you can read it all again. "Hotel": The location is positive if you want to go to Gardaland, Movieland, or other activities. There's also a Lidl or Aldi nearby, about 2-3 kilometers away. Keep in mind, though, that the access roads are the same as they were 40-50 years ago, which means they're only a single car wide and in rather poor condition. So, if you have a lowered vehicle or other modifications, it can be tricky if you encounter oncoming traffic. The access road to the hotel is a typical fine gravel road like you'd find on German forests and hiking trails, with endless dust. The breakfast is okay, nothing special but not bad either. The rooms, on the other hand, are a highlight if you want to travel back to the 80s. Rustic and worn, in my opinion, everything there needs a proper renovation. I don't need Wi-Fi; it's rather difficult for those who can't manage without it, or for children and teenagers. The network and password that were listed in our folder in the apartment simply didn't exist in the room, and other families complained about it too. So this should be an important point in your family life in 2025... Don't bother, it's cell phone detox time there. The grounds themselves are quaint, but you can't really do much there except use the spacious pool. There are plenty of loungers available. Unfortunately, there are often, or even daily, day visitors, so not just hotel guests!!! It can get loud, for birthdays, water fitness meetings, etc. You can get ice, water, beer, etc. from the pool bar and add it to a trusted list. Prices are rather expensive for a hotel in the middle of nowhere, but that's okay. Like everything in life, it's a matter of opinion.

15/08/2025: A great location, close to Peschiera del Garda, yet secluded enough to relax without the crowds. The pool is definitely its biggest advantage, after the professional and friendly service. This is a wonderfully managed vacation property.

08/07/2025: Three friends stopped by for pizza this evening, just for fun. The reviews about the pizza being very thin and delicious are true. Personally, it wasn't completely filling for us, but oh well. The food prices were slightly lower than the average for today. The only thing that bothered me was paying €12 for a liter of Coke (never seen such a high price). The service was a bit slow that evening; we waited 10-15 minutes without a soul passing by.

03/05/2025: Posto molto romantico, consiglio soprattutto di cenare nella terrazza esterna. Personale molto gentile e cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso due antipasti con affettati misti e due secondi, stracotto d asino e scottata di manzo,carne meravigliosa. L unica nota "negativa" se devo trovarla è che non hanno il vino sfuso ma te lo servono a calici oppure classica bottiglia. Consiglio per una serata romantica e piacevole. Prezzi nella norma.

01/05/2025: Bel ristorante che ricorda altri tempi ma con un tocco di modernità e accuratezza nei particolari. Le proprietarie gentilissime e cordiali ti fanno sentire a tuo agio e ti consigliano al meglio. Cena più che appagante, buona scelta (primi e contorni) anche per me che nn mangio carne. Ottima qualità/prezzo. Andateci!
