Whether for a casual dinner or lunch, or for a special occasion (most recently our daughter's baptism), it's always the right choice. The atmosphere is casual yet refined and welcoming, the food is top-quality, and they're always ready to accommodate all your requests. Specialties include risotto (especially the radicchio, speck, and Bonarda version) and sliced beef (you'd be hard-pressed to find it this tender elsewhere). Excellent wine selection.
Excellent value for money.

02/05/2026: On the way to Peschiera, we decided to stop for a bite to eat.
I was hesitant about the fish on the menu, but I have to say I was completely blown away. Excellent quality! Excellent value!
In addition to the seafood spaghetti, my partner had a mixed fried fish platter with French fries. The fried fish was delicious and not greasy at all.
Highly recommended.

Let the manager recommend it instead of ordering a first and second course...
Delicious rib-eye steak with plenty of potatoes!!

06/05/2026: We had dinner at this historic restaurant in the upper Mantua area, featuring a unique and refined atmosphere, a warm welcome, and friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. From the pizzeria menu, we enjoyed the gourmet Margherita pizza, made on a thin, crispy crust that released the aroma of raw tomatoes and fresh basil, and the soft and fluffy green pizza made with freeze-dried spinach. From the restaurant menu, we enjoyed the baked sea bass fillet and the mixed fried fish, all washed down with a very fresh Lugana DOC "Brolettino" Ca dei Frati. The quality/price ratio was excellent.
04/05/2026: I returned after years and found the same quality as always. The paella was truly exceptional and the portions generous. Excellent value.

Good selection of pastries, fast staff, and a bar that opens very early in the morning with plenty of parking.
21/12/2025: Bar and restaurant on a busy road between Brescia and Mantua, clean and tidy, affordable for workers. Good breakfasts and snacks, young and friendly owner. I stop here often and will continue. Enjoy your break.

15/09/2025: I had an aperitivo here with my partner. The location is very nice, with the river flowing alongside and outdoor seating. As soon as we arrived, we noticed a clearly drunk man blasting music at extremely loud volumes. Luckily, we soon disappeared and he stopped bothering us. We ordered two drinks; the menu stated that the cocktails would be served with an "aperitivo palette," but they only brought us two bags of chips; I was expecting a few more appetizers. We also waited a bit too long, and we noticed that the waiters served two tables that arrived after us before us; three people who arrived after us even had their pinsas brought before our drinks. The bathroom was out of toilet paper and hand paper, and one of the bathrooms wouldn't close.

09/03/2025: La location è molto semplice e rustica, il minimo sindacale, ma ci sta perché è quello che si capisce sin dall'esterno.
Il menù è vario sia per la cucina e anche per la pizza.
Le pietanze sono buone, e l'impasto della pizza interessante.
Lo staff non è certamente un punto di forza.
I prezzi nella media.
Buon ristorante per un pasto di passaggio, non cerco per recarcisi appositamente.
01/11/2024: Pranzo della domenica con un amico .arriviamo che stanno pulendo con la spugnetta le tovaglie di plastica .aiuto. ordiniamo un branzino con patate lesse e una tagliata di manzo con patate fritte .acqua e coca . Una bignolata ed un caffè. Branzino insipido ed acquoso. Tagliata fredda .patatine fritte idem
Bignolata indefinibile se non industriale. Alla modica cifra di 66 euro senza scontrino . Ma...anche no ! A mai più!

Trattoria Pizzeria Coccole di Cibo

01/07/2025: Locale semplice, accoglienza piacevole, cibo ottimo!!! Ci è stato suggerito da una persona della zona e devo dire che ci siamo trovati proprio molto bene. Il personale è giovane e gentile, la cucina offre molto e da quello che ho mangiato e visto c'è da da tornare per provare tutto, dai taglieri ai primi, carne e pesce e dessert. Consigliatissimo
25/04/2025: Locale accogliente, molta scelta di piatti, gnocco fritto buonissimo, pesce molto buono e anche i primi e per concludere dolci fatti in casa molto buoni.
Siamo capitati per caso ed è stata una bellissima esperienza, torneremo sicuramente per provare le pizze.
Personale molto gentile, attento e simpatico.
