We had a very good meal here, but we made the mistake of choosing a table inside the restaurant. It was very noisy, unfortunately. But that's actually quite normal for Italy. Recommended, but I'd recommend sitting outside under the lights. I think that makes dining here even more enjoyable.

The place is dated, but the staff is helpful, even if not perfectly on point. The beer, which they call "unfiltered amber," is a good unfiltered lager. The pizza is well-made, light, and flavorful, and the service is super fast. If they had paid more attention, it would have received a higher rating.

What a wonderful lunch break we had here today! Right next to the park dedicated to Virgil, we ate in the sunny garden. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were pleasantly affordable. The perfect start to the rest of the day. The polenta with porcini mushrooms is highly recommended! And a quarter liter of white wine to go with it – perfect!

Squared. A historic place, I've known it for many years. Always a guarantee. Excellent dishes. The Mantuan tradition is excellent, well respected in the flavors and recipes. The prices are also very consistent with the quality. Low prices for me, living in Rome. The pizza is also excellent. And it's also in the center of the pearl (=Mantua) for a wonderful stroll after lunch or dinner.
