25/01/2024: Very nice place, a comfortable atmosphere, all very well looked after, elegant but modern. Very friendly and professional bartenders. We had a good time having a drink with friends, honest price and clean bathroom. The appetizers, the pizza and the wholemeal brioche are also delicious; to drink I had a nice and good Hugo. You can find very nice and refined pastries and cakes at the counter, I will go back again! I highly recommend

06/02/2024: Number 1 ice cream shop in Castiglione. It offers an interesting selection of flavours, without exaggerating with variety but still including some gems (for example the delicious white crock). I would also like to point out that the ice creams are closed in metal containers which do not allow you to see their appearance, but certainly preserve their qualities for a long time. Ice cream aside, the best in my opinion are the semifreddos, tasty but always delicate. I have ordered them for graduation and birthday parties and have always been very satisfied. The only critical point is the place, which is very welcoming in its smallness, but which forces you to consume the delicious ice cream on a sidewalk.

18/02/2024: Siamo venuti qui diverse volte, trovandoci sempre soddisfatti. Stavolta qualcosa è andato storto, vuoi che eravamo sotto le feste e posso capire le pressioni ma il servizio era davvero scarso ai limiti dello sgarbato. Mostarda sempre al top ma non basta. Vista la concorrenza in zona non ci torneremo.

31/03/2024: Today's lunch, Easter day, was excellent and the service was excellent. The staff was courteous and attentive to the customer's needs. We had a very good time and enjoyed everything we ate, so much so that we asked for an encore of some courses. We had never been but we will definitely return.

30/03/2024: Trattoria il ponte sul strait is a true hidden gem. it is an authentic paradise for fish lovers. The atmosphere is welcoming and the furnishings are characteristic. The staff is friendly and have the ability to make you feel at home straight away. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical Sicilian traditional products. I have already been there four times and they have never disappointed my expectations, each time I have found dishes with fresh fish that delight the palate and make you feel as if you were by the sea. Personally I recommend you take the linguine with purple prawns and stracciatella, an explosion of flavours. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food!

17/02/2024: Rudeness, discourtesy and terrible service!!! Terrible experience!!! This morning we went to the Gobbi pastry shop in Castiglione and, coming from Sirmione, before leaving we checked what time it closed and the time written on the website was and is 7.20/13 so at 11.50 we went in... and there was a lady behind the counter (I think the owner) and another lady employee... we said hello and said good morning but we received no response 🤷 after a few minutes standing in front of the window they asked us what we wanted, we ordered two coffees, a water, a croissant and two toasts . Then the owner turns towards us with an annoyed look telling us noooo... it was late to make toast 😳 So I ask what time do you close? She replies to me at 12.20 and then it depends....but it depends on what!!!???...I specify that before leaving Sirmione I had seen that the closing time was at 1pm....and she answered me he replies again with disdain that sooner or later he would have arranged the right time. Given their welcome... and even though there were still 30 minutes until closing, I told them that we would only order the croissants and coffees without the toast... the employee then tells us "come on, well, I'll make them for you anyway". ..so my husband and I and our daughter sat down at the table (naturally to be cleared away) and after about 6/7 minutes the toasts arrived (if it is possible to call them that) practically inedible!!! They had practically burnt and dry slices of bread like rusks and the cheese and ham were cold!!!!… At that point I felt cheated... and I got up with the two burnt toasts and brought them back to the counter saying that you can't present something like that to customers!!! I also added that their rudeness towards customers and their unprofessional manner dishonors a pastry shop that has existed for years. It's a shame because I'm sure that the quality of the pastry shop is good but managed in this way leads the customer to never return. Luckily, 100 meters away there is another pastry shop where we finally went to have our breakfast/brunch 🥐🥞🥪🍰☕🍪🍩 with a girl who welcomed us with a smile and kindness and the service and food were excellent 🙏 ☺️✨ I advise the two ladies from the Gobbi pastry shop this morning not to do a job in contact with people but a smartwalking job without a camera obviously.

17/02/2024: Maleducazione, scortesia e servizio pessimo!!! Esperienza pessima!!! Siamo stati stamattina alla pasticceria Gobbi di Castiglione e venendo da Sirmione prima di partire abbiamo controllato a che ora chiudesse e l orario scritto nel sito era ed è 7.20/13 così alle 11.50 siamo entrati....e dietro al banco c'era una signora ( penso la titolare ) e un altra signora dipendente... abbiamo salutato e detto un buongiorno ma non abbiamo ricevuto risposta 🤷 dopo qualche minuto in piedi davanti alla vetrina ci hanno chiesto cosa volevamo, abbiamo ordinato due caffè un acqua una briosce e due toast. Alchè la proprietaria si gira verso di noi con aria scocciata dicendoci noooo...che era tardi per fare i toast 😳 Allora io chiedo ma a che ora chiudete? Lei mi risponde alle 12.20 e poi dipende....ma dipende da cosaaaaa!!!???...io specifico che prima di partire da Sirmione avevo visto che l orario di chiusura era alle 13 ....e lei mi risponde nuovamente con sufficienza che prima o poi avrebbe sistemato l orario giusto. Visto il loro benvenuto...e nonostante ci fossero ancora 30 minuti alla chiusura , ho detto loro che avremmo ordinato solo la briosce e i caffè senza i toast...la dipendente allora ci dice " ma dai vabbè Ve li faccio lo stesso"...così ci siamo accomodati io mio marito e ns figlia al tavolino (naturalmente da sparecchiare) e dopo 6/7 minuti circa ci arrivano i toast ( se è possibile chiamarli così) praticamente immangiabili!!! Avevano le fette di pane praticamente bruciate e secche tipo fette biscottate e il formaggio e prosciutto freddi!!!!.… A quel punto mi sono sentita presa in giro...e mi sono alzata con i due toast bruciati e li ho riportati al banco dicendo che non si può presentare ai clienti una cosa del genere!!! Ho aggiunto inoltre che la loro maleducazione con i clienti e il loro modo di fare per nulla professionale disonora una pasticceria che esiste da anni. Peccato perché sono sicura che la qualità della pasticceria penso sia buona ma gestita in questo loro modo porta il cliente a non ritornare mai più. Per fortuna a 100 mt c'è un altra Pasticceria dove siamo andati finalmente a fare la nostra colazione/ brunch 🥐🥞🥪🍰☕🍪🍩con una ragazza che ci ha accolto con un sorriso e gentilezza e il servizio e cibo sono stati ottimi 🙏☺️✨ Consiglio alle due signore di questa mattina della pasticceria Gobbi di non fare un lavoro a contatto con le persone ma un lavoro in smartwalking senza telecamera ovviamente.
