27/04/2024: Willing and good food. We happened to be in a very busy period and the very small staff was struggling. To try again
24/04/2024: I was there during a dinner with friends and I had some excellent cold cuts and fried gnocco appetizers and excellent giardiniera as appetizers. The french fries were not good or at least of low quality. The first ones I tasted were good but nothing special even though the sauces should be super tasty, too bad. I didn't like the desserts, they were forgettable. Overall, therefore, I liked some things a lot while others were a bit subdued.
However, I want to give 4 stars because the service is exceptional, the waitresses are very kind and professional. Furthermore, the place is truly very special. Fair prices in my opinion.

14/01/2024: Do you know those ultra-modern and in part almost all the same, faux-rustic, "starry", famous and "snobbish" places?
Well, this place is the exact opposite.
Here time seems to have stopped "centuries ago".
Spartan, simple, humble but "direct" and almost family-like place.
Here the environment is warm (extraordinarily rare and atypical), the time here has forgotten to flow for a very long time.
Managers (or owners) very approachable and polite.
I literally devoured a whole eel which was sublime to say the least. (must be booked)
Then I ate a simple green salad (and strictly fresh vegetables) to try to "work off" that gigantic eel.
Very positive experience.
You can find mainly typical local products.
Kindness was not lacking.
Beautiful experience in a simple but enchanting context (place).

13/08/2023: We stopped in Gorgo to have dinner at the Marilù restaurant.
Restaurant with ancient history.. and the air you breathe is always the same... and the goodness of the food has not changed.. it is always a pleasure.. the mixed fried food and YOU SHOULD SAY YES TO CO!!!!!!

13/02/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante domenica a pranzo, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, tutto cibo di loro produzione buonissimo, tutti piatti della tradizione mantovana. Anche i due fratelli proprietari sono gentili e simpatici. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo vivamente.

17/03/2024: Location meravigliosa e super rilassante!! Cucina tipica ed è stato come sentirsi in famiglia. Proprietari a dir poco squisiti, alla mano e molto disponibili
06/12/2023: un menu e prezzo concordato onesto, per una serata con parecchi commensali (40 persone circa) di un unico gruppo..!!! . Ha sicuramente influito su un servizio cordiale e puntuale , antipasto (affettati misti e gnocco) .. due primi "in sicurezza sono le specialità della casa (tortelli di zucca e Cappelletti in brodo)... ottimi e gradita replica (bis)... il secondo un guanciale di manzo (penso..!?) tenero e ben cotto con polenta e patate al forno , il vino Lambrusco rosso e Trebbiano bianco, accostamento classico viste le pietanze... in fine dolce dekicato (zabaione/budino e scaglie di sbrisolona) caffe e liquori a richiesta il tutto con la consueta cortesia del Titolare.
Il locale merita sicuramente una replica, magari sperimentando il menù alla carta.
Dimenticavo...!! in attesa aperitivo con ciccioli che non guastano mai.
