06/07/2024: We have been coming to Lignano for years and eat at Ristorante Agosti a few times every year. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the Chateaubriand this year. Otherwise excellent served on a hot stone with baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. A pleasure. This year there were only a few slices of potatoes, half an ear of corn and lots of spinach. The meat was good, as always, but the side dishes were very disappointing. :((

05/07/2024: The restaurant is beautiful and yet then poorly received by cold staff. The tasteless dishes are expensive for what it is an address to forget.

09/08/2024: A very particular place, characteristic, intimate, and welcoming even if a little *rustic*, beautiful flowers. Both inside and outside there are works in worked stone, sculpted wood, frescoes created by the owner (and a friend of his)... the food is very good (I took strips of scottona with the scent of lavender and wild fennel accompanied by cooked and pickled vegetables. Then a cream ice cream with mixed preserved fruit and other slightly cooked and I think a little caramelised...AMAZING)...All very genuine and tasty!!!

11/08/2024: Too bad you can't give more stars. We arrived to a completely full restaurant. The very pleasant staff took great care of us. Very kind and helpful, they accommodated us in everything. The food was excellent, just like every time I've been here in a few years. It is truly a gourmet experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and thank everyone involved in this great business. You are doing a great job. I will definitely come back and recommend you to everyone.

15/08/2024: Historic location, located on the Montemurlo hill, from which you can enjoy the view of Prato and Florence (on clear days), excellent food, from meat to fish, attentive and courteous service, adequate prices, recommended, without a doubt!

17/08/2024: Posto favoloso in una ambientazione/paese incantevole. Menù non particolarmente entusiasmante e conto a parer mio decisamente eccessivo. 15€ per sei pezzi di formaggio (3 per tipo) e qualche fetta di affettato li ritengo decisamente troppi. Personale cortese, forse un po’ lento il sevizio ma c’era davvero molta gente. Non torneremo una seconda volta.

15/08/2024: Why do I put only 3. Well location and food extraordinary. However, the service was absolutely terrible, we booked well ahead, and our table was given to other people when, we asked precisely the table we wanted and had a confirmation that it was going to be. Then a big mess, and the waitress in charge was super rude, at least the food was magic.

26/08/2024: In una Lignano Sabbiadoro percorsa da turisti non particolarmente raffinati e flagellata da mosquitos (numerosissimi), questo bistrot - sito in una stradina fra il corso pedonale e la spiaggia - si differenzia non solo per la bontà del menù, la valida carta dei vini e la gentilezza delle cameriere ma anche per un bel arredamento. Cose queste che contribuiscono a rendere la cena piacevole, nonostante l'assenza di aria condizionata. Ed i mosquitos che tentano sortite sulle tovaglie bianche. Prezzo giusto.

16/08/2024: Senza nulla togliere alla precedente gestione dove Karen dirigeva egregiamente il locale, posso confermare che dopo aver testato tre quattro volte l’attuale conduzione soprattutto a cena, la qualità è la tradizione sono rimaste ad un ottimo livello oserei dire migliorate. La fantasia dello chef mette il sigillo subito negli antipasti, cito le cappesante con il tartufo estivo e il baccalà mantecato con la cipolla caramellata da sposare con la focaccia, insuperabili. Ottimi i primi, consiglio spaghetto alle peverasse. Il pescato freschissimo ricalca l’offerta classica. La cantina dispone delle etichette anche per i più esigenti. Nel complesso direi che si mangia davvero molto bene, molto bene, molto bene. Il Cason sarà anche “piccolo “ ma l’appeal è sicuramente grande.

16/07/2024: Piatti a base di pesce deliziosi, il sorriso di Sandra sempre pronto ad accogliere al meglio, la cura di Luigino, la professionalità e accortezza dello staff sono grandi qualità che non passano di certo inosservate. Consiglio vivamente questo locale nella splendida Cividale del Friuli.

16/06/2024: No pictures to share, they would not make justice to the food there. We had an extremely pleasant dinner, we appreciated the very attentive, and prepared, service and then of course the food. Would not know what to recommend as everything we tried was good, and the food served to other guest looked the same. Spaghetti with sea urchin, or caserecce with calamari went down well, as well as the monkfish involtini, or the seabream. Excellent wine selection to pair the food.

30/07/2024: The only good thing is that they offer you the first bottle of wine and low prices. Normal portions. What's wrong? First of all, as soon as you enter you are hit by the smell of humidity, the walls full of black mould. The very dirty chairs. The response to the request for child seats was "after COVID we eliminated them because there was no demand"... oh well. Menu without allergens and intolerances, in fact in the speck and courgette trofie there was bechamel which was not indicated on the menu (bechamel is not suitable anyway). Cold and hot appetizer without specifying what it is made of, the waitress upon request specified that the cold one was only cold cuts while she had no clear ideas about the hot one, seasonal things and fried batters with diced cured meats... they were only of flour!!!.at the time of dessert all the waitresses disappeared for more than half an hour only the owner who was chatting with another table. Had they gone to eat? Welcome but at least one to guarantee the service!!! In fact we got up without ordering dessert. Any response from the owner to this review must only be a mea culpa and adapt the place to HACCP standards! the ASL would have it closed. PS I'm a chef and I know what I'm talking about.
