A huge compliment also for the kindness, professionalism, and hospitality of Mrs. Francesca (very knowledgeable about gluten-free), Mr. Paolo, and Vincenzo: truly wonderful people who make customers feel at home.
Congratulations to everyone! Quality, courtesy, and excellent service... a truly positive experience!
We'll definitely be back, and even the gluten-free pizza, my husband confirms.

06/07/2026: Had lunch as a couple. We enjoyed the food of yesteryear: simple, tasty dishes in an authentic, well-maintained trattoria. Even though I live in the area, it was my first experience there. I'll be back more often.

12/07/2026: We booked for a quiet Sunday lunch. We found everything excellent: the carefully prepared traditional dishes, the tasty, quality cheeses. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's wonderful to find places like this.
12/07/2026: We really appreciated the chef's presence, who personally came to our table to take our order. The kids were super happy with the homemade tagliatelle with meat sauce, which were truly excellent.
We were having dinner with friends, who ordered two tagliata: excellent quality meat, perfectly cooked!
My husband and I tried everything, but it's a shame we couldn't eat the ciarcions we'd ordered because the chef unfortunately forgot our order. I feel compelled to defend this osteria because we all make mistakes, and few know how to cook such perfect dishes with such passion. It was an unexpected event that can happen, but it doesn't change our minds: we'll definitely be back!

18/07/2026: We ate very well. The staff were very welcoming.
28/06/2026: Typical Carnia dishes, generous portions, quality products, and an excellent staff.
I returned after a few years and noticed some improvements: sound-absorbing panels and a soft paint job on the walls, adequate tables, and well-made chairs.
The food is a sure thing, thanks to the quality of the products used and the skill with which they are served.
Honest prices, like an Osteria.
I recommend it to everyone, especially those who focus on the essentials and aren't interested in the beautifully designed dishes!

01/08/2026: Today we set out from the refuge for a beautiful hike, and on the way back we stopped for lunch. The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere was very clean and well-kept.
Next time we'd like to stay overnight.
Keep up the good work!
18/07/2026: The most wonderfull acomodation in a special place. Everything was great, nice playground for the kids, the owner was super nice and the food was delicious, specially the veal tartar. I can fully recommend.

17/07/2026: We were there at lunchtime; they offer several different lunch menus at good prices. You sit among tradesmen taking their lunch break. Aside from the typically Italian-style restroom, the visit was worthwhile: delicious food (the best gnocchi we've had in ages), friendly and attentive staff, and very clean! Italian language skills are a plus 😊

09/05/2026: Think of the perfect place to enjoy a good burger 🍔 XXL sandwiches etc. in good company. Fair prices and excellent service, a place that closes after midnight for those who maybe get home late from work etc., all accompanied by good music 🎶.

04/08/2025: Som jag angav i rubriken så beställde vi en schnitzel men fick ett gigantiskt stort monster jag lyckades nästan äta upp men det blev omöjligt, men det smakade helt okej. Detta resturang besöket gick jag inte ensam utan med bekanta, INGEN var ens nära att äta upp. Vi rullade ut ur restaurangen fyllda till bredden men nord italiensk kalv.
Sammanfattning: Helt okej mat, toaletten var sisådär, trevliga men långsamma servitriser.

30/04/2025: Il locale sarebbe unpo da rinnovare ..stile unpo vintage per non dire altro...I piatti erano nella media...io e gli altri commensali abbiamo mangiato in altri ristoranti direi nettamente migliori.In compenso cameriere fantastiche molto disponibili nel consigliare ,e gran professionalità e gentilezza.

Antipasto misto di salumi e formaggi molto semplice con prodotti standard
Il primo aveva la pasta completamente scotta. Lo abbiamo segnalato ma poi sul conto non è stato fatto alcun ristorno.
La giardiniera di contorno praticamente con verdure crude che sapevano solo di aceto.
C’erano tre fettine di pane con l’uvetta molto gradevoli ma quando abbiamo chiesto se se ne poteva avere ancora ci è stato detto che non ce n’era più.
Una delusione!
