10/05/2026: I went for lunch with my son for Mother's Day. We had a wonderful meal, simple yet excellent quality dishes. The lady serving was very kind and friendly.
I have to say it was a lovely discovery.
I definitely recommend it.

24/04/2026: I love eating pizza there with my partner! The pizza is light, and the menu can be varied because they make a "pizza of the month," often with local DOP ingredients. I recommend booking, as it's often crowded.

Tonight we went to this restaurant which recommend to me by an italain local friend. Figured we would give it a shot because my husband and I have never been here before.
Let me tell you, this is THE BEST carbonara I have ever had. After living in Italy for 3 years, I have eaten carbonara all over the country, from Aviano all the way to Rome. Tried many kinds and this is THE one. The sauce is thick, creamy (without cream), not curdled, pasta is tender and meat texture is firm and not soft/floppy.
Along with the right amount of pepper as well.
The atmosphere was calm and quaint, our waiter was kind as well.
Addiontally, we have tired several other dishes. Including...
Pasta with rosemary and pine
Black garlic pasta
Wine sauce risotto with sausage.
All delicious in their own unique way, however, the carbonara left me yearning for it After I have finished the dish.
I already want to go back and I certainty cant wait until I do 💜🇺🇲🇮🇹

03/06/2026: Yesterday, June 2nd, we had lunch at this Osteria and everything was fantastic, starting with the wine... a sparkling Ribolla, then the delicious first courses... tagliatelle with ragù of the day... with duck... and then gnocchi with black truffle and to finish, a delicious ice cream with strawberries and a fantastic sorbet... and a delicious grappa.

17/05/2026: Excellent hotel for those needing an overnight stay for business or tourism. Ideally located less than 10 km from the center of Udine. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant and pizzeria offering reasonably priced meals. Free on-site parking. Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: I wanted to surprise my parents. They'd heard good things about the new management, so I booked. I'd asked to sit on the terrace, and they did. After a while, my mom was cold, so I asked to go inside, even though we'd already started dinner. The staff, with a kindness that seems increasingly rare these days, seated us inside... perhaps it took a little longer, but in a fabulous location and in good company, you're happy to wait... The food is all freshly made, and the ingredients are of great quality. The limoncello and licorice offered at the end of the dinner make you go home wanting to come back.
02/06/2026: Unfortunately, the old Open is now a distant memory. The food, service, and quality have dropped dramatically, while the prices have risen. We were very disappointed and won't be returning. It's a shame because the location is truly a gem!

24/02/2025: Cibo ottimo e personale molto gentile e molto attento alle esigenze del cliente anche in caso di allergie e/o intolleranze alimentari.
La nota negativa è il parcheggio che non è del locale e non è custodito, capita molto spesso che avvengano dei furti nelle auto parcheggiate e ovviamente non è piacevole ritrovarsi finestrini rotti e macchina ripulita al termine del pranzo. Il personale non avvisa di questo, considerando la situazione quasi normale. Non l’ho trovato corretto..non dipende da loro certamente ma almeno due parole di avviso sarebbero state gradite.
07/01/2025: Eccellente sotto ogni aspetto. Locale rustico ed accogliente. Piatti tradizionali rivisitati con garbo, Accoglienza e servizio familiari ed efficient.
