Incredibly friendly waiters, a fantastic atmosphere in a side street away from the heat, and the food was absolutely amazing. The chef, I think his name is Michele, does incredible work. I've rarely had such good mussels as a starter, and the delicate pasta with lemon verbena and fresh, raw tuna cubes was pure culinary heaven ❤️👌

I had lunch at this intimate restaurant in the center of Trieste with my family. The staff were very attentive and polite, the dishes delicious, and the service was prompt. The lasagna was excellent! The seafood pasta dishes and salads were also excellent. You can dine at the outdoor tables in a hidden, breezy alley, which makes for a pleasant meal.

I discovered this restaurant by chance and it exceeded all expectations. Besides the deliciousness of the dishes, I really appreciated the attention to my food allergies. Chef Michele reworked a dish tailored to my needs, and maître d' Carmine looked after us with care and kindness, without being intrusive.

Staff: Super friendly and attentive! Although the restaurant was full, we received a warm welcome, and the waitress asked us to wait five minutes, which we gladly did and didn't regret!
Food: The pasta was homemade and perfectly al dente, the seafood was fresh and beautifully presented in an aromatic garlic and tomato emulsion. The daily special was—to our surprise—braised pork cheeks with an unusual potato dish (mashed potatoes meets roasted potatoes). Full-bodied, aromatic, traditional yet modern. A complimentary lemony cornmeal pastry accompanied our after-dinner espresso—absolutely delicious! Located in a quiet courtyard, we highly recommend this restaurant for a peaceful meal filled with culinary delights!
