06/05/2025: Quiet and elegant space for our party of 4 to dine in. Promptly seated when we arrived with our reservation. The pasta we ordered was too al dente for all of us which surprised me given that this is a Michelin Guide recommended restaurant. There may have been a language barrier with the sommelier as he was a little more quiet and reserved when helping our table choose a wine. Overall felt the food and experience was average.

03/05/2025: Absolutely recommended, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is just ideal, almost in the absolute center. Breakfast a la card was sufficient and very tasty 😋 The only drawback is that there is no parking space at the hotel, but we were more than satisfied with the valet service offered. We'd love to come back

22/05/2025: Beautiful little bakery and cafe. Excellent crostata titolese and tuna toast. A very pleasant stop on our journey from Ljubljana to Piran. A very pleasant taste experience. Czech bakeries have a lot to learn from the Italians.

18/05/2025: The service is friendly and they are problem solvers. We went 2 times in 4 days and all the options were delicious. Today we had the nduja pizza, the calzone with mushrooms, ham and lots of cheese, and the Mediterranean salad ( buffalo cheese, anchovies, and egg with lots of veggies varieties) and please have a half liter house white wine and olives…. 67€ Must be said that the service is great

26/09/2024: Buon ristorante di pesce un po’ nascosto in via Orsera vicino al canile dove potete mangiare pesce in tranquillità. Posto anche all’aperto, il proprietario è molto gentile e cortese . Buono il vino e prezzi conformi alla qualità del cibo. Da provare.

09/04/2025: We went for lunch by chance on Sunday, sitting at a table outside, a beautiful sunny day, in the small square in the historic centre, the atmosphere was very nice. Restaurant with beautiful internal rooms, all renovated and with a Templar theme, very very beautiful. SPECTACULAR food, we had a superb octopus appetizer with potato cream, a superb first course of asparagus and prawn tagliolini, the pasta was fresh and handmade, it was evident from the consistency, very good croaker with an innovative and delicious sauce, the children had fried calamari which finally tasted like calamari, incredible freshness, instead of the usual defrosted bagged ones. Excellent service, courtesy and love for his business struck us, always available, he described the dishes with ambition because he was aware that they would be a success. Congratulations, we will definitely be back, maybe not in the middle of summer, but we will be back, it is also worth it for the price, because we spent the right amount for the quality of the products and the quantity.

30/03/2025: Oggi con 6 amiche sono stata a pranzo in questo ristorante prenotato all’ultimo momento al ritorno da un fine settimana a Lubiana cosa dire uno spettacolo dall’accoglienza al servizio e alle pietanze. Ogni piatto perfettamente equilibrato e bilanciato, materie prime utilizzare freschissime. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità offerta. Siamo state tutte talmente soddisfatte che prima di andarmene mi sono complimentata con 👨‍🍳 lo chef. Se passate per Muggia non potete pranzare da nessun’altra parte. Ringrazio tutto lo staff.

27/04/2025: Absolute recommendation, a bit hidden but a highlight. Good fish with local side dishes, very good local wine, delicate dessert, of course again with a local connection, very friendly staff. Any time The pictures do not correspond to the facts, we were in la Betula, but sat in the Taverna Dell'olio Trieste, which is next to it on Google Maps, perhaps the owner(s) should clarify this.
