An incredibly beautiful café inside. It's said to be the oldest in Trieste. It has a very high ceiling, the bar looks fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food and drinks are beautifully presented and delicious. There's a bookshop to the side of the café where you can also sit comfortably.

A lovely old café! They have lots of cakes, cookies, and of course, a huge selection of coffees! You can sit inside or outside!! It's really wonderful, a must-visit!!

Trattoria Sociale di Prosecco

06/08/2026: We really wanted to visit the town of Prosecco and had heard about this restaurant. Sitting in a simple outdoor area, we felt very well looked after by the waiter and enjoyed a simple, good lunch. I especially liked the fresh mixed salad – it really was very fresh. The food on other guests' plates also looked good and plentiful. The trip is definitely worthwhile!
05/08/2026: Perfect spot where to eat after walking or running the "via napoleonica", or where to take your friends for some local food away from the city center! The food is good, the portions are fair, and the staff is nice. It is better to book a couple of hours in advance during the weekend.
