27/05/2025: We took the seafood menu for two. The appetizer was nothing special, especially the shrimp and octopus. But so far let's say passable. The worst part is the second course of first courses: the pasta with squid ink was dry to death. The pappardelle instead were the most inedible thing I've ever eaten in my life. Thick, dry pasta, it didn't even twist on the fork, topped with cheese croutons that completely covered the flavor of the fish. Glasses of Sturm wine €8 each. Cover charge €5 per person. 21/04/2025: Beautiful farmhouse that embodies the spirit of an Osmiza in a more refined environment. The gastronomic offer is also wider, including various first courses in addition to the inevitable meat and cured meats. Nice large garden where children can play while adults have lunch.

13/05/2025: La trattoria effettua orario continuato da mattina a sera. Ambiente ampio, con un bel giardino; ubicazione sulla strada principale, nel centro del paese; classica trattoria cittadina in Carso, con stile semplice un po’ demodé. Recensione riferita ad una cena di 3 amici nel maggio 2024. Abbiamo speso sui 30 euro a testa. Porzioni grandi, ottimo cibo, tovaglia di carta, menù macchiato, parmigiano in bustine. Consiglio i cevapcici (ottima carne morbida, ma senza aglio), cipolla cruda, ajvar, patate in tecia calde e autentiche; oppure il pollo disossato grigliato. Riguardo i dessert, delizioso e artigianale lo strudel caldo; sconsiglio invece il trancio alla frutta: la base aveva un impasto poco cotto e la panna era stucchevole. Buona la birra chiara; consiglio inoltre il tipico liquore di terrano!

17/05/2025: This place has a truly unnecessary hype. We had two cappuccinos, which were served almost cold, which is never the case in Trieste or in Italy in general. The cappuccinos tasted only of milk. The service was also unpleasantly arrogant. The only nice thing about it is the ambiance. Children are also not welcome. We constantly receive disparaging looks, even though our child was very quiet.

31/05/2025: Disappointing experience. I order spaghetti with clams and a small plate arrives with, perhaps, 40 grams of pasta. The waiter serves it saying ironically: “Here, plenty!”. A joke, honestly. This restaurant makes fun of its customers, especially tourists. No respect for those who pay and expect at least a decent dish. I strongly advise against it: in Trieste there is better, and more seriously.

29/05/2025: We went there today passing through Trieste. Nice place. Very good dishes. Maybe the french fries were a bit too oily… but the rest was good. Generous portions. A warm greeting to the Sicilian waiter with whom we had a nice chat… we will definitely be back…

25/05/2025: Excellent value for money. Fresh and quality fish. Fortunately, the dishes are not very salty. Delicious desserts, all homemade, as is the bread. Kind and friendly staff, welcoming and familiar atmosphere, fast service. Menu characterized by a blackboard placed at the table, a great idea for not browsing the menu, in short, highly recommended! Keep it up!

10/05/2025: Dinner for two with rocking appetizer, top marinated anchovies, polenta and cod. Being celiac, they offered me an excellent prawn and courgette risotto for two. Even gluten-free bread. I recommend it.

09/05/2025: I came to this restaurant for the first time on Easter day, I didn't book a table. The very kind lady made me sit on the terrace, as I am a smoker. They offered me the menu, I ate fresh and delicious fish, and had a glass of delicious Malvasia. The restaurant was full of people, but silent. I will be back as soon as possible. I absolutely recommend everyone to go there!
