02/08/2025: Excellent Trieste buffet, friendly and cheerful service, good food. Parking is a problem.

24/07/2025: Good, fresh food. Spotlessly clean. The hand-cooked food is TOP. Especially the pancakes are exceptional. RECOMMEND! A small note: the staff isn't very friendly; they favor the employees' friends, leaving customers waiting. (Sulky, annoyed, arrogant.) There's a preferential treatment for the employee's friends. It's a shame, I had to leave because the staff isn't very friendly. Otherwise, the place is nice! !

21/09/2025: We found the trattoria by chance. Getting there was an adventure: a parking garage within a parking garage. A city unto itself. But the food was amazing!! The tiramisu, in particular, was a dream!!

20/09/2025: Great place for dinner. We sat on the terrace. Even though it was very busy, we received excellent service. The staff was friendly. We had pizza and prawns, both delicious. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We walked here from Sistiana via the steps and the beach. On the way back (when it was dark), we walked the other way to the main road. This route includes a footpath along the road and is easily manageable.

09/09/2025: It was truly awful! The creamed cod is nothing special; making a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio taste terrible is a challenge. The basil pesto has a hint of basil...and a lot of cream! Highly recommended.

31/07/2025: A very homey atmosphere, with daily specials displayed at the counter and heated on the spot. A vast selection of seafood and top-quality fish. The atmosphere is quite comfortable; highly recommended for a quick but excellent seafood lunch by the sea in Trieste!

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place quite by chance a few nights ago. The place is really cozy and has a wonderful, elegant feel. The food was simply delicious, and the staff was super friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed our time here. Hopefully, we'll be back soon!

25/09/2025: I went for dinner because I had a €50 discount from a well-known booking app. Honestly, I had high expectations for this place, especially since I've been frequenting Porto San Rocco for a long time as a guest of a shipowner. The entree was brought, but there were no cutlery, and the waiter disappeared. I'd say it turned out to be the best dish. The mussels appetizer had no seafood flavor, and the sauce was practically nonexistent. The spaghetti with clams was far too al dente, needing at least a couple more minutes of cooking, and was very dry. A plate of crudités, which I didn't eat; I was told only the shrimp were up to par. We asked for bread between the first and second courses, but it never arrived. Bottom line: despite the €50 discount, the quality/price ratio was really poor. Definitely not recommended.

09/10/2025: The cold cuts and elderberry juice were excellent. Service was quick. And the kids really enjoyed seeing the horses!

30/09/2025: Fantastic setting. Free-roaming animals and greenery everywhere, which I admit, must have its costs. These costs are passed on to the food, which wasn't appreciated by all guests, not even by me. It could be much better. The paper tablecloth and napkins don't match the prices, and then, the desserts, while good, €7 per portion seems disproportionate given their simplicity. To conclude, speaking of fairness (it's the law), there are no prices displayed, not even a menu.

25/08/2025: Very nice, family-like service. Delicious and fresh food, the pastas, pizzas, salads and appetizers were all delicious! Next time we are in Trieste, we will definitely go back!

21/08/2025: Great prices, a traditional, local atmosphere. Amazing pizza and exceptional spaghetti alla marinara. An unpretentious place that offers a great experience.

14/09/2025: First time at this butcher shop Very friendly and helpful staff, ready to offer advice!! The counter is very well stocked, with many delicacies. We cooked the "exceptional" chicken skewers, truly delicious chicken!! The same goes for the beef skewers "bombette" and asado. The prices are normal. We will gladly return.

15/08/2025: I've been shopping at this butcher shop for many years: I've always found the quality excellent, with a wide variety of meats. The owners' helpfulness is also remarkable. I've recommended this butcher shop to many people, and everyone has given me very positive feedback, so much so that they even come from other parts of the city to buy.

12/10/2025: The hotel is conveniently located, practically halfway between Trieste and the nearest Slovenian towns, Izola and Piran. The property features a beautiful, spacious terrace offering stunning sea views and the beautiful sunsets. There's a lovely, large outdoor pool. Inside, there's a spacious breakfast room for a delicious sweet and savory breakfast. The rooms are furnished with slightly vintage but decent furniture, and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large, but the showers are a bit limited. The hotel has parking and is located in a very quiet area. The manager, Mirella, is very kind and hospitable. Overall, a highly recommended property.

Rooms not very large but perfect in every aspect from cleanliness to furnishings that are in a modern style Parking impossible, but be careful you can leave the car a few meters from the hotel and through their paid service the car is picked up and brought back by them at the time you need Common areas very well furnished, breakfast to try in terms of service and customer attention You are right in the center so you can reach everything on foot

17/05/2025: The condition of the room is satisfactory, although I wouldn't call it too stylish in an otherwise classically beautiful hotel. The price-value ratio is adequate. The location is fantastic for a little Trieste adventure! 🙏🙂♥️🥂🍾
