Seafood restaurant. I was told they had spider crab (or granzievola as they say in Tergeste), although it cost me a fortune. The rest is basic but good. There are only a few tables, so reservations are recommended.
Simple food, but well cooked. Just what I like!

The wooden atmosphere is a bit dated but quaint and genuinely pleasant.
When we arrived, we found a typical Trieste lady who kindly took our order... it's a shame the bread never arrived with the appetizers.
Good food; the seafood spaghetti was better than the clam spaghetti, in my opinion.
A positive experience; we ate well, and the quality/price ratio was fair!

I was solo one month visiting variety of E Europe countries & decided to stop in Trieste for 3 nights.
The Melanzane alla Parmigiana is the best in the universe! It was so good, I asked for another plate! And, I am petite female 😆

A typical and authentic place, apparently frequented by locals. I found it by chance, but I'll definitely be back. I had the grilled cuttlefish with a salad; they were special and very reasonably priced. Congratulations!

Excellent trattoria on the waterfront, everything simple, just like it used to be. Go for the fish and you won't be disappointed. Reservations are essential, as it's very popular with locals.

We stumbled upon it by chance. A small place where the food is excellent and reasonably priced. It looked like most of the diners were locals. Highly recommended.

Old-fashioned restaurant, but good food, now fewer and fewer of these restaurants, in my opinion they are the nicest.
