My husband and I stumbled upon this place by chance. I must highly recommend the lunch menu at lunchtime! Lots of delicacies to choose from! We had delicious pasta with sea bass and fried calamari and sardines. Both were delicious! Great service and amazing atmosphere! ❤️ highly recommended, worth a visit 👌🏻🇮🇹 thank you Jana and Jakub

Maybe it was a bad night, Monday, but at 8:45 pm there was nothing interesting to eat: meatballs, fried eggplant, and sardine crostini. There were plenty of people... tipsy... sociable, but perhaps too much so.

31/03/2026: I couldn't wait to return after years away from Trieste. I was happy to have found Xiaohua again, always kind and welcoming. I had the opportunity to watch her prepare the ravioli, from the dough to the rolling out of the dough, and the preparation of the fillings with carefully selected ingredients. In addition to the ravioli, my friend and I really enjoyed the Lotus Flower soup, curry rice, crispy duck, and beef with onions. There's plenty of choice, even for vegetarians. Open only for dinner, it's not large but artfully decorated and welcoming.

22/08/2026: A fantastic place with super service! The staff is very kind, courteous, and attentive. The fried calamari is a must-try, and the mussel pasta is also fantastic. 🐙🐚🦞😊
18/08/2026: A super cool and young team with fresh and delicious food in a hidden alley in Trieste. The kitchen staff are fully committed to their dishes. All the negative comments regarding price or portion sizes are completely incomprehensible. Definitely worth a visit, but it's best to reserve in advance, as the seating isn't huge, which is what makes it so cozy and welcoming. If you enjoyed your meal, please spread the word; the staff and kitchen were very happy to hear from you. You could tell they put their heart and soul into it!
