23/05/2025: We "stumbled" on this place with my girlfriend a few days ago. Very welcoming atmosphere, smiling staff and delicious food. We had a small misunderstanding about a vegetarian platter but the guys were super nice and ready to accommodate us. Highly recommended!

17/05/2025: Passing by we asked for take-away beers, they poured directly into cans and then closed and labeled. Excellent product at a good price. We will return later calmly.

02/06/2025: La trattoria Primavera è l' ottimo approdo, per rinfrancarsi dopo una camminata nella tranquillità delle verdi colline, magari preceduta da un giretto in uno degli antichi borghi medievali dei dintorni ...Vigoleno o Castell'Arquato... oppure dopo una visita alla bellissima abbazia di Chiaravalle della Colomba, a valle. Luoghi che vi sorprenderanno per l' armonia...la stessa armonia che troverete a cena, assaporando i piatti della tradizione locale! E che dire dell' ottimo Monterosso?!? Solo 👏👏👏

31/05/2025: We had dinner at this place, a simple setting with a beautiful view of the vineyards at sunset, very kind and attentive staff but the real added value are the dishes... from appetizers to desserts, all exquisite, prepared with care and culinary wisdom, strictly homemade pasta, sauces so tasty that you can lick your lips and mop up the sauce. Wine of own production, just the right portions, quality raw materials and a decidedly honest price. Well done everyone!!! If you love good food this is the right place. Bertolino family from Turin

19/05/2025: I went to dinner with my family. We had everything from appetizers to desserts, everything was very good. I highly recommend the millefeuille with chantilly cream and blueberries. HEAVENLY

27/04/2025: Osteria vecchio stampo, di quelle che ormai sono una rarità. Gianfranco, l’oste, ti fa sentire come se mangiassi a casa sua. Già dall’antipasto si chiacchiera tra tutti i commensali. Cucina della tradizione e ben curata. Prezzo onestissimo.

19/04/2025: Per il pranzo di Pasqua avevo prenotato un tavolo per 5 persone due settimane orsono (6 aprile). Il giorno prima telefono per sentire a che orario conviene arrivare e mi viene risposto che la mia prenotazione non gli risulta. Inutile dire che per il pranzo di Pasqua i posti nei ristoranti sono tutti esauriti da tempo e quindi non è possibile andare altrove e la festa è bella che rovinata. In questo posto ci ero già stato e mi ero trovato bene, però questo scherzetto non glielo perdono.

22/03/2025: Discovered by chance, but truly a very pleasant surprise 😍 Spectacular cured meats and space gastronomy dishes 🤩 We took a platter of mixed cured meats, a portion of swallow's nests and some meatballs; to close a blue cheese. All served in a room with "special" furnishings. Really well done, I will definitely be back

17/06/2025: Always up to expectations with its traditional dishes, varied and well prepared. Kind, welcoming and fast service staff. Well prepared dishes. Good choice of wines. Inside the rooms are a little dated, but still welcoming. The garden in the summer is very welcoming. Highly recommended place.

12/06/2025: A well-kept and pleasant environment, ideal for a quiet stop. The dishes are well presented and reflect the Piacenza tradition, with an excellent choice of local specialties. The staff was kind and helpful, helping to make the experience positive. For a group of bikers the bill was slightly higher than expected, but the quality of the food is undeniable. Overall, a good culinary experience, recommended for those looking for typical cuisine in a welcoming setting. We did not use the rooms

02/06/2025: Sono stato ieri a pranzo dopo aver fatto la visita al magnifico e affascinante castello!!! La location del ristorante è carina ma di antico non ha nulla infatti è stata costruita recentemente. Porzioni scarse, antipasti tipici piacentini di scarsa qualità (conosco bene il territorio che frequento da anni e vi assicuro che gli affettati piacentini davvero buoni non sono di certo quelli mangiati ieri). I ravioli (5 di numero) nulla di che e il risotto insipido e stracotto. Ci si alza con la fame anche perché non si è ispirati a prendere altre portate per via della scarsa qualità, l’attesa molto lunga (anche della tecnica di realizzazione) e per il costo eccessivo. Infine anche l’accoglienza è fredda e non è tipicamente quella emiliana/piacentina.

28/04/2025: Ristorante bellissimo, ambientazione stupenda e piatti super ricercati : ma "fuori tema" per le famiglie che vivono la fiaba nel bosco! Noi siamo stati al parco delle fiabe prima e poi alla taverna coi nostri bimbi per rendere ancora più eccezionale la giornata. A dire la verità di piatti semplici per bambini ce ne sono pochi e il luogo è molto elegante, i camerieri in smoking... noi ci siamo sentiti fuori luogo ad entrare sudati e accaldati con gli scarponi da trekking (richiesti per le attività) dopo "la battaglia nel bosco"... Pensavamo fosse "tutto collegato" o comunque ideato per le famiglie che vogliono incorniciare la giornata "medioevale" dalla mattina pranzo compresdo. Invece no, il ristorante è come se fosse stellato, di alta classe. Abbiamo speso moltissimo (quasi €20 di coperto in 4 con i bimbi sotto i 6anni!!!) e mangiato poco. Insomma ci é sembrato "distaccato" da tutto il resto, bellissimo se fosse a sé stante o in un castello principesco ma lo abbiamo trovato "fuori luogo" nell' unico castello in Italia dove i bambini e le loro famiglie vivono un' esperienza stupenda come il bosco delle fiabe! Avremmo preferito un ambiente più rustico e familiare con piatti semplici. Quindi consigliamo alle famiglie che vivono il bosco delle fiabe di portarsi il pranzo al sacco sia per spendere meno, sia per non sentirsi a disagio in un luogo di lusso dopo una scarpinata nei boschi che per mangiare di più. 15/06/2025: We have been frequenting Enoteca San Nicola for several years now, I would say at least 15 years ... at first we were curious about the very interesting and almost "zen" cuisine proposals for the way they were presented, today ... we are always curious! Something new pops up every time among the classics and the new is very tasty! Parmigiano biscuits filled with goat cheese worked with aromatic herbs, accompanied by jams that enhance the flavors ... I am not in the habit of photographing the dishes because my mind already acquires them and the taste buds start tasting them even before the camera ... but it would be a photo to show here! Interesting cellar, wines also by the glass and half bottles for those of us who only need a touch of red or white! Enjoy your dinner everyone.

09/06/2025: SAN NICOLA WINE RESTAURANT, I had been to this restaurant about 30 years ago and it had remained in my heart, it was managed by a gentleman who was clearly passionate about wines and good food, on Saturday evening I had the opportunity to return, and it was a wonderful feeling and dinner, the management is still the same even if it has passed to the daughter. The ancient convent of the 17th century welcomed me into its intimate and romantic rooms. We had dinner with: RAVIOLI filled with porcini mushrooms and potatoes with blueberry reduction a delight to the palate and an excellently measured filling - perfect portion STICKS of chicken with mustard and honey with potato quenelles well-assorted dish, delicious BITES of beef with house curry, coconut milk and cashews with Venere rice, soft, juicy meat and exhilarating to the palate, the addition of other ingredients make it gourmet and sensational. Wine .... a splendid cellar and therefore a wine list worthy of a 5 star superior hotel, of the best starred restaurant, a fantastic positivity in reading the various labels, we took a wine from the Cantina La Stoppa - La Macchiona 10 years later - year 2002 Since we had an appointment with friends in an ice cream shop in the center of Bobbio, we preferred not to take dessert (it will be for next time). Discreet and professionally high-level sommelier Service in the dining room, fast, attentive and sympathy that exudes. Thank you ENOTECA SAN NICOLA, what a restaurant must leave me with is that I had such a good time that I wanted to return as soon as possible.

02/06/2025: Amazing place. Amazing view. Very curated. Tasting menu was creative and innovative. Dishes were very well presented and immaculate. Id say it’s one of the best places to visit in the province of Piacenza. An underrated gem! Will be coming back very soon. The owners were extremely kind and knowledgeable. One thing I most definitely wouldn’t skip is the homemade ice cream, unique and delicious… you can really taste the quality!

18/05/2025: Just had the best classic burger I have had. A wonderful owner who speaks great English great atmosphere and had a great beer. Lots of other food options. Well worth a visit. I would recommend it.

25/04/2025: A truly excellent experience in this sauce shop which mainly offers platters of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by homemade sauces and a basket of bread and hot tigelle. In closing, we also really liked the desserts. Right portions and honest prices for what we saw on the menu (despite the fact that we used a smart box). Friendly and relaxed service, a warm and welcoming environment.
