24/07/2026: La Volta del Vescovo couldn't have been a more perfect place to make our dream come true. Thanks to Carlo's (amazing) help, we were able to take advantage of every corner of the venue, experiencing and giving our guests indescribable emotions. From the vaulted hall for lunch, the garden for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks, the villa's entrance for the bouquet toss, the pendulum beech tree for the cake cutting, and the villa's interior for the disco. Nothing was left to chance! Thanks to the entire Volta del Vescovo staff, and especially to Carlo, who listened and understood our needs as only a true wedding planner can. We couldn't have asked for a better day; everything was organized down to the smallest detail. Everyone was speechless, especially us. 10/10!!

19/12/2025: We visited Castell'Arquato a couple of weeks ago...a very picturesque place, definitely worth a visit. We stumbled upon this gelateria by chance, and...boom...the best gelato I've ever tasted...the truly traditional and unique location certainly sets the mood for a positive experience...but the gelato is truly exceptional for the intensity of the aromas and flavors it conveys to the palate, while also maintaining a good consistency. Excellent

28/04/2026: Very nice setting right in front of the Borgo di Vigoleno. I really enjoyed finding the little cactus pot on the table🌵. The interior is very spacious, the tables are well spaced from each other. We thank all the very kind staff, we ate very well. We tried a typical cold cut called "la Giovanna" which was truly excellent. I believe it is a typical Piacenza cold cut (cooked pancetta) that I have never had before... You can eat both inside and outside the restaurant. For a day out, based on my experience, I highly recommend it with a reservation 😅😜

02/05/2026: A truly enchanting place. We arrived with a group of friends at sunset. The Po River had a wonderful color. We really enjoyed it. A truly lovely place, the service was attentive, and the waiters were super helpful and satisfied every wish. Excellent food and drinks. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: An elegant 4-star inn where you can also stay. I ate at the outdoor restaurant with a spectacular view of the Po River. The cuisine is also excellent, with the chef offering both classic and revisited Piacenza dishes (a true pleasure for the palate). The service is attentive, and the wine list is consistently top-notch.

02/08/2026: Today, Sunday, August 2nd, my family and I went to eat at Osteria La Trappola. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the owner in a very kind and welcoming manner. The unique location immediately reminded us of the unforgettable homey atmosphere of a trattoria. The menu was absolutely fantastic, with a vast selection, ranging from exquisite appetizers accompanied by excellent wines to fantastic traditional Piacenza first courses. I especially enjoyed the platter accompanied by excellent focaccia and exquisite lardo. The high-quality ingredients and the passion the chefs put into preparing them made the difference in the dishes. The service was also excellent, with very friendly and helpful waiters, ready to answer any customer requests. It was also nice to chat with the very pleasant owner. Overall, the best osteria we've ever eaten at in Piacenza.

14/06/2026: A beautiful place with a splendid panoramic view of the vineyards; excellent food and courteous staff; I would only suggest a little more attention to service (aside from a couple of oversights that were promptly remedied, I had an excellent lobster starter (1/2), but I had to wrestle with the claw with my bare hands because I wasn't provided with tongs to break it, and there's "something good" in there: either you break it in the kitchen or they provide the necessary equipment to do it without having to ask for it).

24/05/2026: Truly authentic and excellent food, with homemade pasta, tender cuts of meat, and excellent wine by the glass. I found this trattoria to be fast and friendly. Average prices.

05/06/2026: Pain au chocolat is truly delicious, high-quality chocolate, dark and very chocolatey. The scent of butter and caramelized sugar is the first thing you hear when you bring the cake to your mouth. With the first bite, your teeth sink into layers of soft, perfectly flaky pastry. The chocolate melts with the layers, and you feel the first crunch... Excellent, not cloying, everything is very balanced. The only real flaw... IT'S ADDICTIVE. Be careful!!!
