13/03/2025: Starting from the excellent welcome, the restaurant is located in a building that belonged to the Stradivari family with a wonderful view. Excellent and well-prepared food satisfies practically all needs, I also found the wine list good. Adequate prices. I recommend.

15/12/2024: We arrived for lunch, when the place was full. Despite this, they welcomed us with extreme kindness, even considering that we had a medium-sized dog, they looked for a place in the club where we were comfortable, it is not always a given to have a service that takes into account the customer's needs! The service was very fast even though the place was full, impeccable! The food (we took a first course and a second course) was very good. I recommend the tender cake! Advised!!

17/04/2025: Hervorragende bürgerliche Küche zu angenehmen Preisen in einem alten Stadthaus. Wir hatten als Appetizer regionale Salami und Schinken bzw. Sformatino, dann Chicche, gnocchiähnlich mit Pilzen und brauner Sauce auf Rinderbrühebasis, sowie Anolini, gefüllte kleine Teigtaschen in einer klaren Rinderbrühe. Als Secondi wählten wir etwas Besonderes, nämlich Bistecca Cavallo (wird nur rare serviert, superzart) und Asinina, ein Gulasch vom Esel, das vielleicht ein wenig zu stark gewürzt war. Dazu Hauswein aus den hier typischen Keramikschüsselchen. Alles in allem 90 Euro, passt gut. Superfreundlicher Service.

15/04/2025: Facile da raggiungere (parcheggio a pochi metri), cibo ottimo, scelta di vini non grandissima ma con etichette interessanti, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, locale tradizionale. Ci tornerò.

05/03/2025: A dip in Alta Val Tidone on the Ligurian Apennines, under Monte Penice, in the heart of the 4 PROVINCES, where in a hotel hut that has nothing to envy of the best in Trentino Alto Adige, the overwhelming friendliness of Giuseppe Matti with his excellent cuisine that blends the Pavia tradition with that of Piacenza, would put even good forks like Bud Spencer and Terence Hill to the test for the countless courses, which you will find hard to give up for the excellent and progressive quality and goodness that push you to taste everything! Post-prandial heart attack risk 😅🍾🥂👌

24/03/2025: Found by searching on Google. Immediately answered the phone and reserved the table. Cheerful and pleasant atmosphere, young staff friendly and helpful. Really excellent and plentiful food. I can only recommend it and I will gladly return.

22/03/2025: Discovered by chance, but truly a very pleasant surprise 😍 Spectacular cured meats and space gastronomy dishes 🤩 We took a platter of mixed cured meats, a portion of swallow's nests and some meatballs; to close a blue cheese. All served in a room with "special" furnishings. Really well done, I will definitely be back

27/02/2025: As far as I'm concerned, it is here in Montale that it is possible to eat the best Piacenza platters. Cured meats, cheeses and wine are exactly how I like them: seasoned and with a strong flavour. This butcher's shop is certainly not synonymous with delicacy, and it is perfect as it is. A real awakening for the taste buds. Compliments especially for the cured meats: between coppa, culaccia and salami, I don't know which was better. The bread and focaccia in the bags were also delicious. You can feel the quality, as well as the freshness of the products. But it was above all the desserts that surprised me, since, in places like this, they are very - too often - left in the background and consequently their goodness suffers. Here, however, simple products such as cocoa biscuits, baci di dama and tart are worth as much as the more elaborate desserts you normally find around. The cake with plums and amaretti, with its contrast between bitterness and sweetness, is a clear demonstration of how little is enough to create unforgettable meals. The attention to the customer then adds the icing on the cake to an already excellent experience. You can feel how the staff cares about providing excellent service in a timely manner. It was nice to listen to the explanation of the individual products on the cutting boards, even though I didn't understand it. Knowledge adds flavor to the meal. So what can I say: now I know where to go when I want an aperitif in Piacenza again.

16/02/2025: I had lunch with friends at this agriturismo to celebrate my birthday. In addition to the splendid location on the first hills of the Piacenza Valnure, I must praise the staff for their kindness, professionalism and humility in carrying out their work. The food, typically Piacenza, was of excellent quality. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat really well and relax.
