19/11/2025: Returned after several years, still a great place for a business lunch. Be careful, it's a business lunch. If you're a white-collar worker looking for a cozy place to chat, this isn't the place unless you're focused solely on the food. The food is simple but well-cooked, with a good selection. The staff is smiling and helpful despite the busy schedule. They won't waste your time and will appreciate it if they reciprocate. Recommended.

14/11/2025: I finally managed to stop by during opening hours. Excellent welcome and helpful service. Abundant dishes and quick service. €15 for a first course, a second course, a side dish, water, and coffee.

14/12/2025: It was a surprise! Nice, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. All the dishes were delicious and the service excellent. Extremely good value. We'll be back again with more friends. They deserve more visibility. Well done!

08/12/2025: A restaurant recommended to me that was a wonderful surprise. Excellent and light fried gnocco. Exceptional cured meats, the coppa was a delight. The pisarei and fasó were more than good. The nettle ravioli were exceptional. The wild boar melted in my mouth. The staff were kind, friendly, and always available. The house wine, Gutturnio, was excellent.

05/12/2025: A restaurant where even the fried gnocco is light and easy to digest. Superb local cuisine! Spectacular views of the hills... a local wine that is nectar. Family hospitality that goes far beyond "service." The cured meats cellar, moreover, deserves guided tours from abroad. A true feast...

07/12/2025: I went there by mistake, and as they say, you learn from your mistakes... well, I learned that there are still some restaurants worth trying!! I was greeted with great attention, and since I'd asked for a quiet corner, they did everything they could to accommodate me. Then came the meal... a riot of flavors and dishes with a genuine, sincere, and high-quality taste. I trusted Mrs. Laura (I think that's her name) with the wine selection, and she recommended a still Gutturnio. High-quality Piacenza cured meats, fabulous homemade giardiniera (very similar to Morgan's), Rai ravioli in broth that were out of this world, and a roast duck that gave me goosebumps... My wife doesn't know what she got, because I never looked up from my plate... ( ) I had a truly wonderful time and realized that there are still people who do their job with passion, honesty, and love!! For what I ate, I spent very little. I will definitely go back with friends and I highly recommend it!!!!

20/08/2025: The Piacenza tortelli were delicious, with attentive and professional service. The appetizers were very good; the only slight flaw was the desserts, which I found weren't up to par with the rest of the menu.

10/11/2025: Beautifully situated on a sloping street. When we arrived, a football match was playing downstairs. We were allowed to sit upstairs, where it was quiet. The food is delicious. We had the tenderloin and the hamburger. The atmosphere is okay, but the decor is very basic. Friendly service. The price-quality ratio is good.

01/12/2025: The owners were very kind and found us a place despite our reservations. The Mantuan tortellini were delicious, the donkey stew with polenta was excellent, and the dessert portions were generous and delicious.

01/12/2025: L'Ostarcello is the country restaurant everyone is trying to discover. Well-prepared cuisine, quality ingredients, and a friendly atmosphere that's hard to find these days. Tasty appetizers, traditional first courses, and quality meats. A lovely way to spend time at the table. In the summer, there's a panoramic terrace.

11/10/2025: The route to get there is also beautiful, the location is beautiful, and the menu is good and varied. Recommended.

14/12/2025: I would return to Piacenza just to eat at this restaurant: excellent food, great staff, super cute place, very fair prices. What can I say...FANTASTIC!!

07/12/2025: We had lunch here on Sunday, with our 16-month-old daughter. The gnocchi and prosciutto were amazing. The main courses and desserts were also excellent! The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. There are few places that make lunch even more peaceful and enjoyable. Martina, Alessandro, and Adele 🙂

03/10/2025: With friends from the club, it's the place to go for members' evenings, as several of them live in town. We dine in the tavern with cured meat appetizers and anolini in broth. Both are excellent, with a special mention for the anolini, a must for the gourmet palates of those who appreciate "real" anolini with terza broth. Excellent service from the staff! Very good!

12/09/2025: This is another place that has become a regular for me and my family, for breakfast, aperitif, lunch and occasionally dinner. The place is elegant, welcoming and clean, the staff are kind, hospitable and very professional. Breakfast has something for all tastes and needs. For aperitif, I repeat the same as above. Lunch and dinner are top menus, every day you find something different. There are a few dishes, quality ingredients cooked excellently at an excellent price... 5 stars deserved.
