25/03/2026: An old-fashioned trattoria, just like it used to be.
When you arrive, there's already a portion of cured meats and pickled vegetables on the table, and a bottle of sparkling wine already opened, ready to be drunk! So even if you don't want them, like me who has to avoid them, they're already there, and you can eat a little! Then we had two ricotta and spinach tortelli, which here are made in upright squares, flavorful, with a lovely garlicky mushroom sauce.
Unfortunately, there was only one rib for the main course; we ordered that and a boiled meat dish, which unfortunately only had stuffing and beef, fries, and a salad that arrived already dressed. Everything was good, but both the tortelli and the main course arrived barely warm.
For dessert, two slices of tart and two slices of carrot cake arrived, both good.
Coffee and nocino/bargnolino liqueur, €50.00 for two.

01/06/2026: An old-fashioned trattoria, serving delicious Piacenza dishes (cured meats with burtléina, pisaréi and fasö, tortelli, roast beef, veal with tuna sauce, parfaits, and homemade cakes) that hark back to the meals your mother and grandmother used to have. Friendly and attentive service.
17/05/2026: The owner and staff are very friendly, and the first courses, main courses, and desserts are excellent.
I recommend the tortelli, the "chicche della nonna" (grandmother's specialties), and the sliced beef.
I'll definitely be back.

24/05/2026: The atmosphere is simple, spartan, and clean. The service is kind and courteous. Food: there's only one appetizer: cheeses and cured meats, and an excellent sauce. But at least one alternative, like a vegetable tart, could be a good idea...
The lemon tortelli are good, the tagliata is good, but the potatoes could be improved.
The desserts.... The parfaits definitely need to be revisited! The chef is young, so I hope to return and find improvements everywhere, both in the atmosphere and the food... all in all, a thumbs up.
17/04/2026: A traditional trattoria, albeit run by a very young chef. The atmosphere is quiet, the rooms clean and tidy, the service friendly and professional, the dishes are traditional Piacenza dishes (the lemon tortelli are excellent and original, the pisarei are very good), and the sparkling Gutturnio is excellent. Prices are truly reasonable: the three of us ordered three generous appetizers of excellent cured meats and cheeses, three first courses, three second courses, three desserts (the apple tart was delicious), two large bottles of mineral water (not still water), plus coffee and an after-dinner drink, kindly offered by the owner, for a total of less than €40 per person. Recommended for both the food and the kindness and treatment we received, as well as for the price.

01/08/2026: Thursday evening was a pleasant surprise at Trattoria Perani. This trattoria has been on the outskirts of Bettola for years, and I occasionally go there. On Thursday, however, in addition to the usual traditional dishes, Marisa also served "seafood," a gratin of mussels, anchovies, sardines, and scallops—excellent and plentiful. This was followed by a mussel stew (to mop up the sauce), followed by mouth-watering prawns, and finally, a lemon tart. Excellent! I recommend it to everyone.

01/08/2026: We had ordered 12 pizzas for pickup at 7:30 PM. We were told they would be ready at 9:00 PM. Fine, we thought that was a bit long, but since it involved 12 pizzas, we drove home and returned at 9:00 PM to pick them up.
Subsequently, we had to wait another two hours. We didn't get our pizzas until 11:00 PM. So, in total, it takes 3.5 hours to make 12 pizzas? Truly unacceptable.
Every ten minutes we were told that it would take “another ten minutes.” In the end, we received no discount whatsoever and not even an apology. That is disrespectful.
19/07/2026: I'm not used to writing negative reviews, because tastes are highly subjective, both in terms of aesthetics and flavor, and those who read me know this. So I never write negative reviews, limiting myself to those with a passing grade and above, trying to be as objective as possible. This place is a little dated but acceptable. The pizzas are decent, but beyond the pizza itself, the overall experience is quite limited, with no praise or praise for either flavor or quality. However, the service was very friendly, both in terms of the skill and kindness of the staff and owners. All in all, it's okay, and the price is very reasonable.

Antipasto di salumi nella media, primi con poco sapore, secondi con carne dura e fredda, Tempo di attesa per i secondi lunghi.
Unica nota positiva il capo cameriere gentile che cercava di recuperare le mancanze della cucina e degli altri camerieri
13/08/2023: Cena in famiglia nella bella piazza di Bettola. Personale cordiale. Menù vario e adeguato al prezzo. Buoni i pisarei e faso’, così come la tagliata e le costolette d’agnello. Antipasto abbastanza scarno anche se nulla da dire sulla bortellina.
Gradito il profitterol così come il semifreddo all’amaretto.
