The cold cuts platter and fried cake were good, but it's a shame that when we arrived they made us sit on the veranda without telling us that that's all you can eat there (only once we were seated and after asking for the menu, they told us that the rest of the menu is only served inside where there was no more room)... I don't think that's very fair.

Pay attention to the opening hours... On Sunday lunchtime, we arrived at 2:03 PM (closing time 2:45 PM) and were told that the kitchen had already finished serving...

I was nearby to pick up some wine, recommended by a local acquaintance! I had a great time, ate well, and found the staff friendly and welcoming!

Excellent ingredients.
Very friendly staff and fast table service.
Prices are in line with similarly sized restaurants.
Location with a fantastic view of the Castle!
Highly recommended, we'll be back!

If you're passing through Vigoleno, a stop at Bollicine e Trota Frizza is practically a must. I dined here recently and the experience was flawless from start to finish.
What I Impressed:
The Chisolino and the Salumi: Simply spectacular. The chisolino (a typical fried cake from the area) was warm, fragrant, and not at all greasy. It was accompanied by top-quality local salumi that melted in your mouth.
The First Courses: I continued with an exquisite first course, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. You can taste the work of someone who knows the area well and knows how to showcase fresh pasta.
Drink Well: As the name suggests, the selection of "bollicine" and local wines is excellent and perfectly complements the rich, flavorful dishes of Piacenza cuisine.
