La Palta Restaurant offers impeccable yet discreet service in a grand, atmospheric dining room. The soft lighting, classy music, and Monica's attentive service make you feel special.
I still think with wonder and delight today about the flavors, colors, and combinations of ingredients in the dishes served.

05/11/2025: A well-preserved and charming castle located a short distance from Piacenza, with 15th-century towers, a large internal courtyard with pleasant green spaces, and a perimeter moat. It often hosts events, including the interesting Fair of Ancient Fruits and Flowers, featuring displays of artisanal food and textiles.
The only complaint is the restrooms, consisting of unhygienic cubicles that are inadequate for the high number of people attending the various events.
03/11/2025: I went for a fair and it was pleasant to walk around the large space around the castle. The whole thing is very characteristic.

The food is good, the wine is excellent, and the staff is welcoming and professional.
19/10/2025: A unique restaurant, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food wasn't bad, but the portions were small and, in our opinion, not very flavorful. The main courses would probably have been a better choice, and definitely an excuse to return.

16/11/2025: A fairly elegant place, I'd say with a restaurant-like atmosphere rather than an osteria. The food is good, the service is good, and the prices are average.
16/11/2025: Overall, good food! We drank a good bottle of Ripasso, but the receipt showed two bottles! Since we're not from Piacenza and were the last ones to leave, even in a bit of a hurry, we realized it too late! Pay attention to the receipt! The three of us spent €55 each!

10/11/2025: Discovered by chance for a quick lunch. Not sure what to eat? "I'll give you a snack" says it all. Soft focaccia on the inside and crispy on the outside, with truly tasty fillings! The owner is friendly, smiling, and very approachable. This is one of those places that makes you say, "I'll definitely be back!" Top marks! Thank you so much! 🤩

28/10/2025: Just had a great evening at this lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the Castle at Vigoleno. Very good quality charcuterie with top class hams also, mixed cheeses, Torta Fritta, fried Polenta and sweet & sour homemade crispy vegetables. The homemade Pasta is of very good quality and light as a feather, The Fiorentina Steak is exceptional full of flavour, tender as butter and cooked to perfection, good choice of homemade sweets, I had the Pistachio semi freddo which was delicious, we washed it all down with a good bottle of Prosecco and Local fizzy Gutturnio, finished off the meal with oak aged grappa & coffee.
Service was excellent, efficient and very friendly.
If in the area can only highly recommend!

12/10/2025: Hotel restaurant with a beautiful garden, simple and clean rooms, we stopped for lunch and had a really good meal 🥰 with typical local dishes and very good meat, fast and efficient service with very kind staff even though the place was full!!! Compliments to the staff 👏👏 We will definitely be back, highly recommended!!!!
11/10/2025: We stayed at the hotel for three days on a half-board basis. The hotel is centrally located in Bobbio. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple, and the three dinners were excellent, with delicious dishes. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, as we truly enjoyed our stay.
