14/04/2026: We stayed three nights with our camper. The agri-campsite is beautiful! All amenities are available. Clean and tidy. You can purchase farm products: don't miss the honey, their delicious hazelnut spread, and Bargnolino cheese. The restaurant serves delicious traditional Piacenza dishes, definitely worth trying. Thanks to Michele for his hospitality, kindness, and friendliness. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

05/05/2026: A genuine and sincere osteria, its outdoor tables are set on a characteristic staircase, complete with a local cat, which acts as a backdrop to the street dedicated to Giuseppe Mazzini. Dishes that make you feel better as a person, accompanied by a red wine that helps and comforts even the unhappy. Friendly, courteous, and helpful service, fair bill, well done, we'll return.

02/05/2026: We ordered the asparagus and fried poached eggs, which were very good. The bread and Lecce extra virgin olive oil were of high quality. For our first course (we had already come here three years ago and they were confirmed) we tasted the best ricotta and spinach tortelli of our lives. As a native of Reggio Emilia, I say this, alas... My companion from Piacenza confirms... dessert: apple tart tatin and delicious ice cream. A 10/10 rating, also for the fast, friendly, and professional service.

22/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal! Authentic Piacenza cuisine, quick service, and an exquisite staff (thanks to Andrea and the waitresses). We were pleasantly surprised by the house specials: an appetizer to start the meal and fruit to finish. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

16/04/2026: Finally, a lovely old-fashioned trattoria with local flavors. A peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, no hustle and bustle, and generous, tasty dishes. The owner is extremely kind, and the wine cellar is excellent. Reasonable prices! Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: Always a guarantee of quality and service. The menu is rooted in Piacenza's traditions, but you can also indulge in dishes that are a little different, yet still offer excellent balance and flavor. The traditional anolini in brodo are the best! Excellent wine list, both local and regional. The dessert is a surprise: Pears with salted caramel and rosemary, almond financiera, and vanilla ice cream.

15/01/2026: The Caffè Grande in Rivergaro is always a guarantee. The menu is very well-curated and the offerings are always top-notch, both traditional and slightly more diverse. The wine list is excellent. The interior is also very well-maintained and perfectly reflects the restaurant's identity. The quality/price ratio is excellent.

06/04/2026: The food would be even good (although I felt it was better in the past), however the poor service really ruined the atmosphere. I understand the pressure of working on a Easter Monday, however certain answers make you feel unwelcome. That is something to work on.

10/05/2026: The food is clearly homemade, carefully prepared, and delicious (cured meats, fried gnocco, casoncelli, cod, apple pie). A half-point deduction for the casoncelli butter (a bit bland...) and a half-point extra for the apple pie with gelato (delicious!). The place is well-kept, though small, with excellent service and spotless bathrooms. The price is perfectly reasonable (not expensive). Well done!

24/04/2026: Bad experience. Perhaps it's the fame that's obscuring the principle that it's the customer who chooses (and returns, if...). Lunch 1:30 PM. Quote: "There's no room, probably in half an hour. Take a look around and if you don't find anything, come back..." I left and didn't come back. Naturally.

25/04/2026: Our second stop on the weekend, and the bar has definitely been raised. While the exterior retains the charm of a village trattoria, the interior surprises with its understated elegance and spectacular views of the valley at sunset. The staff is extremely friendly, and the house wine exceeded our expectations. The cuisine won us over with excellent gnocco fritto (fried dumplings) accompanied by quality cured meats, including a superb spalla cotta (cooked shoulder); the pisarei (a type of pasta) were also excellent. The only small complaint was that the tiramisu was perhaps served a little too cold. We say this with kindness, as Venetians, who believe tiramisu must be close to perfection, but it's a small detail that doesn't ruin an absolutely positive experience. Highly recommended for both couples and groups. Thank you!

18/04/2026: A restaurant with a stunning view of the hills and vineyards. Some dishes are excellent, others less so, but the service is friendly and attentive. Good value. They also cater to those with food allergies!

13/12/2025: This restaurant is located in a historic setting, very clean and well-preserved, with attention to the elegant and relaxing atmosphere. I ate well, even alone, and enjoyed the tranquility. It's a perfect place for couples, families, and business lunches and dinners. The magic of this welcoming place is definitely worth the expense. Kudos also to the staff for their expertise, elegance, and friendliness.

08/08/2025: Spectacular service, excellent food, and a beautiful, historic location. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and two desserts, kindly recommended by the woman who served us. They also offered us a small appetizer with two arancini and a sampling of two small cannoli after dessert. Everything was delicious. The dishes were full of personality and of the highest quality, beautifully presented. Excellent experience

09/05/2026: We found it by searching Google because we were in the Piacenza Expo area for the toy fair. We based our review on it, as they were all very good. What can we say? A surprising discovery. Located in the hamlet of Borghetto, this trattoria offers a variety of dishes, including many typical Piacenza dishes. We had the cured meats with fried gnocco called chisulén, which were truly delicious. We continued with the first course par excellence, Pisarei e fasö (10/10), and a less typical but equally delicious dish, spaghetti with squid ink, scampi, and asparagus. To finish, we sampled two traditional desserts, a crumble cake and a büslan (doughnut), accompanied by a fantastic zabaglione cream and a mascarpone cream, equally good, but the zabaglione one was the best. We washed it all down with two glasses of prosecco and two glasses of water. The bill was average. We will definitely return if we ever find ourselves in the Piacenza area again.

19/12/2025: We visited Castell'Arquato a couple of weeks ago...a very picturesque place, definitely worth a visit. We stumbled upon this gelateria by chance, and...boom...the best gelato I've ever tasted...the truly traditional and unique location certainly sets the mood for a positive experience...but the gelato is truly exceptional for the intensity of the aromas and flavors it conveys to the palate, while also maintaining a good consistency. Excellent

12/10/2025: Highly recommended! Excellent gelato, you can taste the genuine ingredients and craftsmanship. A few flavors, though refined and well-mixed.
