04/02/2026: A very unique place with meticulously detailed decor. The food is good, with generous portions and excellent desserts, including generous portions. There's a bit of a wait on Sundays when it's busy. Convenient parking.

08/03/2026: On March 7th, we stopped for lunch at a historic inn with a quiet atmosphere, impeccable service, and excellent Piacenza cuisine. The price/quality ratio was good.

The menu is rooted in Piacenza's traditions, but you can also indulge in dishes that are a little different, yet still offer excellent balance and flavor. The traditional anolini in brodo are the best! Excellent wine list, both local and regional. The dessert is a surprise: Pears with salted caramel and rosemary, almond financiera, and vanilla ice cream.

15/01/2026: The Caffè Grande in Rivergaro is always a guarantee. The menu is very well-curated and the offerings are always top-notch, both traditional and slightly more diverse. The wine list is excellent. The interior is also very well-maintained and perfectly reflects the restaurant's identity. The quality/price ratio is excellent.

16/03/2026: Unfortunately, Google assumes that we’ve stayed at the hotel when in fact we just visited and ate at the restaurant. The food was good but a bit in the pricey side. I noticed that they had Michelin stickers from 2007, 2011 & 2014 and so I guess that’s the reason why they have higher prices.

15/03/2026: On March 15th we had lunch with an organized trip...very attentive and kind waiters...excellent food...I recommend it...I would say that they deserve 5 stars.

09/03/2026: The B&B where we are staying, the owner told us that it was one of the best restaurants in Piacenza, so we made a booking. Well, we didn’t try every restaurant in town but we did try 3 others during our weekend stay and found two others to be better in both service and food options and taste. I guess once you get a reputation for being the best, things go downhill. The food was good but not outstanding and the service from out waitresses was mixed. The older lady who took our order was very acida (rude, for a better word) and really shouldn’t be dealing with customers anymore. The younger lady was more pleasant and accommodating. Not that we were demanding by any means. Anyway, I wasn’t impressed with this establishment and I don’t ever really have any expectations. If you want to try horse meat or like horse meat, then this place is for you. Otherwise, I would try another place.

08/03/2026: Recommended Piacenza trattoria! The atmosphere is elegant and the staff are friendly. The food is good; we ordered several starters and a main course, all excellent.

19/12/2025: We visited Castell'Arquato a couple of weeks ago...a very picturesque place, definitely worth a visit. We stumbled upon this gelateria by chance, and...boom...the best gelato I've ever tasted...the truly traditional and unique location certainly sets the mood for a positive experience...but the gelato is truly exceptional for the intensity of the aromas and flavors it conveys to the palate, while also maintaining a good consistency. Excellent

24/02/2026: We ate well, excellent cold cuts, cheeses, and fried gnocco. We had a platter of mixed cold cuts and a cheese platter, and both of them were plentiful. We were welcomed with kindness and attention. Furthermore, the scenic drive from Bobbio to get there is well worth it.

19/02/2026: Amazing experience! The restaurant staff was so kind, the food was perfect and fresh. The pasta dish with gorgonzola and the cheese platter were both extraordinary. The prices are very fair. We went as a family of three and we left so happy. If you ever come to bobbio make sure to try this restaurant.

22/02/2026: Excellent location before entering the village The waitress (Chiara) was excellent The cured meats, castellacci with porcini mushrooms, and lamb were excellent. We'll definitely be back.

15/02/2026: We found ourselves at this beautiful restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner. The staff were very young, well-prepared, and very polite. We ate really well, the food was exceptional. We definitely won't miss a second visit to this restaurant, and to this enchanting village.

31/01/2026: The food is good, both the sandwiches and pizzas. The service is fair. The problem arises when, despite their mistake on some dishes, they don't remove it from the bill, charging you for a dish you didn't eat.

I ate well, even alone, and enjoyed the tranquility. It's a perfect place for couples, families, and business lunches and dinners. The magic of this welcoming place is definitely worth the expense. Kudos also to the staff for their expertise, elegance, and friendliness.

08/08/2025: Spectacular service, excellent food, and a beautiful, historic location. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and two desserts, kindly recommended by the woman who served us. They also offered us a small appetizer with two arancini and a sampling of two small cannoli after dessert. Everything was delicious. The dishes were full of personality and of the highest quality, beautifully presented. Excellent experience
