20/07/2026: The location is undeniably beautiful, and the quality of the food is equally undeniable. Everything was very good, but the portions were truly ridiculous for the price. The grilled horse, for example, costing €26, consisted of two tiny pieces of meat with a slice of zucchini, a slice of eggplant, and half a grilled onion. This is an osteria with Michelin-starred portions. Perhaps the first courses were a little more generous. Unfortunately, the service also left much to be desired. Long waits for wine, there's no wine list, and the price is neither displayed nor disclosed. We didn't find any surprises on the bill, but it was still unpleasant. We asked and requested a bottle for dessert three times, but it never arrived... No bitters were even offered. Service lasted from 2 to 6 PM; we weren't in a hurry, but overall, we weren't looked after properly considering the quality of the restaurant.

13/07/2026: During an event at a winery in Langa they were present with a street food stall….so, the sandwich with raw meat, made in 4 seconds and it was a total orgasm, truly sublime!!!

01/06/2026: A beautifully situated restaurant right on the steps. Local dishes, like pinserai e faso, were delicious. The burger was served as a build-your-own kit. The patty was fantastic. We got the tip from the very friendly staff member at the tourist information office. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, and we wouldn't have found it without her advice.

05/05/2026: We stayed at this property while hiking the Via degli Abati. It's located at the end of the third stage, right on the route in the center of town, making it very convenient. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a classic international sweet and savory dish. Dinner is available at the hotel restaurant, but it's closed on Mondays (we were properly informed upon arrival). However, there are plenty of nearby restaurants/pizzerias/restaurants where you can eat. Booking was easy by phone.

11/06/2026: We sat outside in a lovely plaza; the restaurant was excellent with good value for money. They offered creative cuisine as well as regional dishes, and a very good wine list. Highly recommended.

01/08/2026: Personally, I don't like thick pizza by the slice. When I ordered, I didn't know that Astra pizza was a slice of stuffed focaccia. Tiramisu €7. Made with frozen sponge cake. I wasn't satisfied... with either the service or the food. I won't be back.

30/07/2026: I was here for a group dinner and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery. The place is beautiful, both inside and out, with a garden. The pizzas are very unique, with two types: a thin one and a thick one, served by the slice, with many toppings. The dessert was spectacular! The owner is very friendly.
